It is five foot high and stands abou t five foot 6 when installed. The fini als are all hand hammered and cut into spears. There are no welds what soever since this is original antique iron. The fence is all riveted. There are some bends which are repairable. There are al so some bottom rails which are missing which are also repairable. There is an overall rust which when sandblasted looks like new but with the old quality. New fence just does not have the same look! This auction is for 200 feet of fencing. AUTHENTIC ANTIQUE "SLAVE HAND- MADE" SAVANNAH GREY 1/2 BRICK FROM SAVANNAH, GA.
You are looking at an authentic antique(early 1800's) Savannah Grey 1/2 brick which was hand made by slaves. I moved to Savannah. Ga. about 20 years ago and worked in the masonry trade for a while and became familiar with the Savannah Grey brick and it's history. In 1815 Henry McAlpin purchased the Hermitage Plantation and in 1819 he built a brick manufacturing plant in which the bricks at that time were made by hand, by slaves. They are larger than your normal brick, reddish brown in color and do not have straight crisp edges, mostly rounded and warped. Many of the old buildings and homes still standing in Savannah today were built with Savannah Greys. They are a very cool, heavy duty(this 1/2 brick weighs close to 3.5 lbs) brick and becoming harder and harder to find. This 1/2 brick measures about 5" x 4" x 3"

I purchased this altar fragments years ago in an antique shop where my mother used to live. It is a centuries old and still has the original paint in it. The carving ~artwork probably that of a Spanish conquistador and it has that lovely combination colors. It must have been part of an altar possibly the top part. The fragment piece measure 22"x8.5" and 1" thick heavy solid wood. A small very minor amount of chipping on the artwork located on the top~sides. The colors are orange. Browns, light turquoise, gold, black,reds and a hint of pink lavender. There seems to be some marking right in the bottom but can't make any~reading of it. Recently had it appraised at the McClung Museum of Natural History at University of Tennessee Knoxville. It is confirm to be a century old piece. Antique French Hand Forged Wrought Iron Curved Staircase This French Hand Forged Wrought Iron Curved Staircase was made in France and bought in Paris. It was made about 1850- 1880. There is a French walnut handrail on the top of the wrought iron. There are no steps with the staircase. Just the railing. I think the steps were marble, I can see some marble flecks on some of the base of the staircase. Description: 6- Curved iron sections about 10' 6" long, with 6- 18" panels in each curved section. The leaves in each panel were gold leafed. 2- Landings with French period design, the 5 leaves in the panel were gold leafed. Each landing is 31" wide and 36" tall. 4- Straight pieces 2- Straight sections about 12' long, there are 6- 18" panels and 1- 30" Period French design panel. 1- Straight section about 9' ... more5" long with 6- 18" panels. 1- Straight section about 7' 8" long with 3- 18" panels and 1- 30" period French design panel. 1- Neural Post 3' tall with circling French walnut handrail. The French walnut handrail is 3 ¼” wide and 2 ¾” tall, a beautiful design to the handrail. Over 110’ of wrought iron and handrail. I believe this came out of about a 3 story building and I think it will all tie together. If a person wanted to, they could make 3 large curved staircases out of this or 5 to 6 small curved staircases. The workmanship is outstanding in the hand forged wrought iron. This is rare to find a complete curved stair case of this size. All I see on the internet are pieces of staircases. The staircase will have to be picked up. It is too much to ship; a small truck could easily move it. The starting bid figures out to $ 2,500.00 per section including handrail. Nice lot of(3) hand carved wood trim pieces from a late 1800's shelf we took apart. These are great to hang on the wall AS-IS or sit on a table as a conversation piece. All the wood looks to be hand done and no 2 pieces. Birds or flowers are alike. I am not good with my woods so I am not sure what type it is, its very dark. The humming birds are really nicely done as are all the flowers. Someone really put a lot of time into this trim. They are stunning to say the least. Nice lot of hand carved wood trim from a late 1800's shelf we took apart. All the wood looks to be hand done and no 2 pieces. Birds or flowers are alike. The longest piece measures 29.8 inches. The next to longest are 25 1/4 and 19 1/2 inches. I can measure more dimensions par request. I am not good with my woods so I am not sure what type it is, its very dark. The humming birds are really nicely done as are all the flowers. Someone really put a lot of time into this trim. They are stunning to say the least. They are on good condition with the exception of a few small cracks and chips repaired over the years. You would have to go over them with a fine tooth comb to find them. Very good repairs. For sale is a one of a kind piece you probably won't have the chance to buy again. This piece is completely handmade/ forged and weighs about 13-14lbs. The iron chains have hammered pins at the bottom to hold the hooks. And at the cast iron top to hold them in place. The hooks were obviously hand made as well. And the cast iron top looks to be hand made. When looking at the top there is a small hole where this piece could potentially be wired up to be a lamp. This amazing piece could also just work as art. Or be used to lift pallets or something. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN c1890 HAND OIL PAINTED CANVAS ROOM DIVIDER SCREEN WALNUT FRAME
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Old(1880s/1890s) hand painted room divider or dressing screen. This is a three paneled unit with an ornate, Walnut frame. The frame has spindle accents on the top semi-arches that accent and attach the end panels to the center panel. Ornate brass hinges connect the pieces. The painting is breathtaking. The center panel is a very beautiful woman in a garden/courtyard. She has an upstretched arm touching a white bird(dove? She is wearing a wrap skirt with detailed pattern that includes the face of a monkey. There are some flowers on the ground near her feet. The side panels are floral and again, the detail is superb. The colors are varied and somewhat muted/soft. The canvas is backed with its original felt which is framed with a ribbon trim. There are no artists marks or signatures on the front of the ... morescreen. The screen is in good antique condition. It had been stored in an attic for decades. The side panels have been punctured. One has one puncture, the other side panel has two. The punctures has torn. I feel that the backing can be removed and the canvas can be repaired or the damage can be camouflaged. The center(lady) panel is not punctured or torn. There are some light moisture discolorations near her bottom panel which are not too severe or distracting. WE HAVE PRICED THE SCREEN WITH THESE ISSUES IN MIND. Otherwise. The screen would be substantially more. As it is, it is a fabulous accent piece that can be either free standing or wall mounted for a dramatic decorative piece. The screen measures 55" wide and it is 60" tall. This beautiful antique Walnut has some splendid hand carvings in them. These two piece came off of a bed. And were thus used formerly as bed rails. They were appraised as being from the early 1800s.
