They are reclaimed and 90-100 years old and show slight signs of wear on them with possible minor chips. These pavers were originally used as street pavers and may show signs of darkening due to exhaust/oil which adds to the history of these unique pavers. Manufactured in Caney. Kansas. The pieces formed a lintel across the top of the interior entrance doorway of the Women's House of Detention. The Jail was located at 6th Ave behind the present Jefferson Market Public Library which was originally a courthouse. The New York Women's House of Detention is believed to have been the world's only art deco prison. It was designed by Sloan and Robertson in 1931 and opened to the public with a luncheon on March 29. 1932. The courthouse. And jail, ... morethe latter which was subsequently opened in 1934(demolished 1973) was the scene of the notorious Harry K Thaw murder trial of renowned architect Stanford White in 1906. They do not stand up on their own as they are front heavy and fall forward, but may be able to be used as bookends if fin-angled properly. Features concentric rings on the base and vertical rings on the center portion. Total height is 50" Diameter of the base is 9" The handle in full extension is 22" long. The spout is 8" long. Green appears to be the original paint. On the handle some of the green paint has worn off revealing a coral-rust colored primer. Some areas of scattered surface rust present on the pump. It has a lovely fluted double-stepped design with a two-tone dusky yellow mottled colour matt frosted on the outside(best see picture as it is hard to describe exactly! Vintage cast iron house or building gutter leader/ conductor or catch basin. It measures approximately 7" by 20" The outlet is for 3" pipe. It is styled in the ART DECO fashion. The condition is excellent. In fact. I am uncertain whether it has been cleaned and re-painted or primed or if it is a new old stock item and unused. There is no pitting or evidence of rusting to the interior. What you see is the original rough casting. Either way, this would be a great addition to any restoration or would make a great wall box. VERY RARE! We are pleased to offer this unique and exceptional pair of Mid Century(1960s- 1980s) Hollywood Regency reclaimed decorative pieces! The pair once served as the bed posts of a footboard on a Mid Century, Art Deco bed. The pair features large brass lion heads with nice detailing. The bodies are fluted wood columns that taper very slightly toward the bottom. The raised bases are brass. There are screw holes up and inside the bases. I cannot find any information on the bed nor is the manufacturer's mark present. However, these are quite special and obviously high end. They may be custom pieces.not sure. They are quite heavy, weighing 10 pounds each. The backs of the bodies have the attachment housing still intact so the pair could be used as a bed piece. Vintage Mailbox! Solid and Original from the Art Deco & Arts and Crafts era
Offered is a very good condition vintage mailbox. It is made of heavy gauge sheet metal with decorative square designs attached and has two brackets for a rolled newspaper or magazine. The turn key opens the front of the box to allow access to the contents. But in keeping with the good ol' days, it was never intended as a security device. A small film slides on the inside and uncovers the Peek-a-boo holes to let you know if the mail has arrived! It has no identifying marks that I could locate but I've seen the box on Tudor style homes that I believe were built in the 20's or 30's. The mailbox fits neatly into a USPS medium flat rate box but I will ship the least expensive way possible if it works to your advantage. Good luck!

Antique Copper Art Deco Hexagon Aquarium Terrarium Fish Tank Mid Century Modern
This is a beautiful and rare early mid century copper aquarium. It is in very good condition with some minor scratches on the glass panels and natural tarnish on the copper frame. The caulking is loose but the panels are not. It is missing the bottom panel. The panel could be replaced with Plexyglass or similar for a quick fix and the joints will need to be re-caulked to hold water. It measures 16" on the diagonal and 14" wide from flat side to flat side, it measures 14" tall and the inside depth is about 9.75" It is sturdy and strong with no looseness in the metal joints. Antique Art Deco Bar (Front and Back) from Closed Saloon, Pub, Bar, Tavern
Here is a vintage art deco style bar taken out of a closed tavern. It is very large. Measuring 21’ in length. The whole thing is currently disassembled. It is comprised of the entire length of bar top(1 pc) The bar fascia and foot rest(2 pcs) back bar bottom(1 pc) back bar wall(1 pc) and back bar canopy(1 pc) Plus all related trim and glass pieces. The back bar features burled wood veneer, stainless steel highlights, and mirrors typical of this style. Also as with many bars of this era(1930's) it has concealed lighting(neon) in the canopy, wall piece, and back bar that when lit highlights the alcohol bottles and also illuminates the center columns. Many of the neon tubes are still intact and I have retained the original transformer also. The three center cabinets access a large cooler that was in working order when removed(compressor ... morenot included) The bar top and back bar horizontal surfaces were covered may years ago in a linoleum similar to what you might find in 70's kitchens. This bar could be used as is, or restored to its once beautiful glory with a little work. This bar can be moved using a box truck of at least 26' in length(you supply the labor) I however(having moved it once before) would recommend professional movers. Description Recently reclaimed from a 1930's English factory. These fully working lamps are cast steel cases with prismatic glass shades. Each one still has its enamel White reflector which can be easily removed if not required. All the cases have been stripped, cleaned and polished the glass shades soaked over several days to remove years of grime. Fixed to the wall via holes in the base. Pridmore in 1931, the theater was demolished in the summer of 2007. On the facade there was a frieze band on the ground floor composed of 4 different panels assembled in a set about 17 feet long. There were 5 sets total. The sets consisted of 3 panels with this design 31" wide. 21" high, 5-6" deep alternated with a"tragedy" and a"comedy" mask, and capped on both ends with a square geometric block. Thus. There were only 15 panels with this design and 5 each of the masks made, most were salvaged and sold by an antique firm in Chicago for $750 and a hefty price of $1850 respectively. VINTAGE ANTIQUE PAIR OF WOODEN COLUMN STANDS MADE IN SPAIN 23.5" ART DECO These stands are made of wood with some type of resin layered over it that has a painted look to it. Much of it is chipping away as you can see in the pictures. There is also a crack in the wood on one of them which is pictured.
