They are made from ... moresolid teak and painted on most of the sides. The paint has flaked off in several places giving them a wonderful rustic look. Overall these panels are in good antique condition with the usual amount of nicks and scratches. Note that one of the panels has a crack in the frame and there are a couple of holes drilled into other panels (see photos). Dimensions: each panel is between 78"-77.5" high, 29.5"-26" wide and 1.5"-2" thick.

Penn Antique Restoration. 12.5"H Antique Eastlake Chestnut Plinth Corner Base Trim Block. Wonderful. Antique, plinth block salvaged from Southeastern, PA. The block is made of solid, chestnut, and has a dark stain. The lovely geometric design featured on the face of the block was hand-carved. Also note that chestnut is a rare and valuable wood; it’s not commercially available due to the blight introduced between 1900& 1908. Which made the North American chestnut trees virtually extinct by 1940. There are a couple cracks stemming from the bottom edge of the block. We wanted to try to close them using some glue and clamps. But they add a nice, distressed charm to it and preferred to leave the decision up to you. It does have some gold paint lose here and there. And the corners are scuffed and have lost some paint. Please zoom the pictures to inspect it closely. It has something black on the wing of the center cherub and a few other places that look like perhaps someone dripped something on the piece. The bottom right corner is chipped, also.
