Authentic Antique Chinese wooden house shutter. Deeply carved and pierce carved with a tiger and horses. 37" by 12" The tiger panel has warped and does not fit tight in the grooves. It also has writing on the back that I can't decipher.see photos) These were marketed by Horchow's Catalog in the late 90's and they provided a Certificate of Antiquity issued by HONG KONG ART CRAFT MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION. Dated 1997. They sold them for around $1100. each back then. This is one of two that I have listed.

Available here is an antique wall panel made of an exotic cut of mahogany or possibly rosewood. This is SOLID wood. Not veneer! This kind of thing is just not available anymore. This listing is for one panel. Although we have five of these available and would welcome making a deal for all. We also have nine accent panels that are approximately 12" x 66" if a buyer is interested in them all. These would be perfect wall panels for a library. Study or bar. The size is about 28" by 66" from molding to molding. That does not include the support pieces which are outside of the molding. I don't believe the framing wood to be mahogany/rosewood. These came from a Victorian home that was demolished in Falls Church. Va. in the 1970's. My parents have had them stored and they intended to use them in their house. But new ones were used instead. There are 7 carriages total. They are a sturdy wood. I am not sure what kind of wood it is. Perhaps oak. These measure anywhere from 50" long to 63" long and are all about 11" wide. Originally hand carved from a single piece of wood. This 18 th century sculpture measures 15 inches tall by 7 inches wide by about 4 inches at its thickest point. It depicts the Roman Goddess Fortuna. The goddess of fortune and personification of luck. This carving once mounted on a wall or the top of a column is actually an architectural fragment. On the back you can see a small hand wrought iron hook, which kept the carving leaning forward. The paint you see is the original first paint and this carving has all of the natural wear to the high points you would expect. In the close-up photographs of the leg attached to the round orb, you can see an old smooth repair. There is a second old repair on the hand holding the blue cloth and a ding to the lady’s nose. The rest of this 18 th century carving is perfect and original. Most likely carved in Europe. This early sculpture is listed without any reserve. Antique Wood Gesso Furniture/Frame Mold 19th C For your consideration is this beautiful wooden Antique Gesso Mold dating to the 19thc. It resembles a Fleur de lis pattern. Which is impressed into the wood. I believe the wood is made of walnut, but am not certain. It is a solid piece and has a good weight to it. It is numbered on top and sides#2672. Massive Supply Antique Wooden Wheel Horse Drawn Wagon Running Gear Wood
Here is a very heavy duty supply wagon running gear. All solid. No rot. Heavy duty wheels and tongue. The rear wheels measure about 44" and the fronts at 40" The running gear itself measures about 13ft, and the tongue adds another 11. From outside hub to outside hub it is about 73" wide. The front and rear axles separate, and the tongue comes off to make transport easier. I remember dad sanding for hours and hours before he put the verathane on the spokes. After this many years, it still looks really great! If you are going to put it outside, I'd recommend another coat of verathane just to make sure it is all sealed. ANTIQUE BRASS & WOOD SPRAYER GADGET FOR WATERING PLANTS, MADE BY DEAKINS, PHILA
We have an interesting gadget or device that we have analyzed to determine its purpose as it is not labeled with a name to let us in on its secrets! We have concluded that it is a watering device for spraying water up so that hanging plants can be watered. The photographs show the device disassembled into its several parts and then all together. One photo shows the nozzle end attached to one of the side rings. At one end there is a turned wooden handle that can be pulled in and out. The brass rod inside the brass cylinder moves with the motion of the handle and has a worn rubber coating or ring on the larger part of the end nearest the nozzle end to create a better seal so that water can be pulled into the cylinder. The spraying nozzle end has a central larger diameter hole which is surrounded by tiny holes. When the nozzle end is put into ... morea container of water and the handle is pulled out. Water is pulled in. Then the device is raised and aimed at where you want the water to go. The handle is pushed back in and a spray of water emerges. The rubber ring inside is worn so that it is not as tight as it originally would have been when it was first made so it doesn't hold the water perfectly inside before spraying it out. There are two threaded rings on the sides which we have analyzed as to their purpose. The threaded spraying head or nozzle is the same diameter as the side rings and fits on the rings. We are theorizing that the side rings were for attaching and storing different styles of spraying nozzles. Our piece only has the one spraying nozzle head that is attached on one end but I photographed that same head attached to a side ring so that viewers can see what I mean about how it will attach to the side. The maker's mark is in raised print as shown in the accompanying photograph. It reads. Robt. T. Deaken& Co. No. 5, Makers. In its shortest position with the handle pushed all the way in. This wheel came from a local church that will be torn down soon. The church stands on the same road that General Lee used to retreat from the Gettysburg Campaign. If you are a collector of antique cast iron lawn sprinklers. You know that this sprinkler is rather rare. An upright wood duck figural sprinkler, circa 1930s. I believe this heavy cast iron piece is all original including the brass sprinkler head. Measures approximately 13.5 inches in height. Some original paint remains but most is gone-condition of the piece is very good with a nice even patina. Original embossed manufacturer's mark present but I do not know what it is. Antique Wood Block. Circa 1800, Creosote coated wood block retrieved from Garrison Ave. in Fort Smith, AR Wooden blocks soaked in creosote/tar were used to pave many city streets in the 1800s. These blocks are from Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith. AR. Although quite effective in muffling the sound of horse’s hooves and clattering wagons. It turned out in time the wood blocks lost the creosote to the effects of weathering. Wet weather then caused the wood paving to swell, buckle because of moisture and break up. This resulted in the wood blocks being replaced with concrete paving in the 1900s. These Blocks make for a great decorative item. If you like. I can seal them in a clear varnish which will protect them and makes them stand out and look even better.
