Presenting a vintage window box style clay planter with reliefs of a reclining nude woman at either end and on the sides what looks like a gargoyle or serpent facing a bird or feathered creature. With a torch or cornucopia shape in between the two creatures. There are also what appears to be some leaf or vine decoration around the nude female figures. This planter measures about 8 1/2 inches long, about 4 3/4 inches wide at the widest point and 4 1/4 inches high. It is quite heavy for its size, weighing about 4 1/4 lbs. There is a central hole at the interior to drain water and four heavy felt strips at the underside. Condition issues: This planter is in overall good. Intact condition, but it is older and weathered, so there are variations in color to the clay, ranging from a medium terra shade to areas that are more weathered and ... morepale. There are flaws to the clay, mainly at the corners and also at the rims, and the bottom and interior has traces of dirt and spots. There are no markings on this. Antique Lrg Numbered 12" Hi Black Porcelain Jardiniere Hand Painted Red Roses
Very nice old numbered in gold at the bottom jardiniere in solid good condition. It measures 12" high and 11-5/8" wide at its top. It has some crazing under the blaze at its bottom; however. Overall it is solid, strong and ready for many years of continued use. The roses are hand painted with green and gold vines and leaves. There is gold finish around the top rim with wear into the gold as would be expected in a piece this old. There are some minor scratches in the black finish. but insignificant overall. I set it on a plant base for several photos; however, the pot is sold alone.

CARL SCHNEIDER VICTORIAN LADY FIGURAL PLANTER / BOWL
This lovely planter measures 7 inches tall by 6 inches across. The lady is calling someone with her hands cupped around her mouth. She has a long flowing pastel green dress. Pink flowers on the arch above her and orange flowers around the base. There is a dragonfly imprint in the back of the planter. The condition is good overall. Her pinky fingers are missing and one index finger, however, her hands are so delicate and all the fingers pointed up you really don't notice. This is a quality piece with a lot of detail. The back edge rim has a small black spot that appears to be part of the porcelain. I believe this was made around 1900 and is a very nice Victorian piece of porcelain. Large Majolica Jardiniere Planter Drip Glaze
It is a solid planter. It does have overall crazing. A surface glaze crack near the bottom that does not show on the inside(see photo) and a 1" hairline on the inside rim. The underside has some numbers and letters that I can't make out. Measures apx. 9 1/2" tall and 9 3/4" across the top rim. The coIors are browns and greens and the glaze is shiny. I will pack it with care for a safe arrival.

Vintage 6.5" Majolica Planter, Morning Glories on Barrel design, Made in France
This majolica planter or cachepot is 6.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide across the top. The bottom is marked with an incised 15. Over a 7, which is over a windmill. Under the windmill are the words ORCHIES FRANCE in block letters. There's also a black stamp which says'Made in France' All of it is under the glaze. The spider fracture that you see on the exterior bottom is not visible when you look at the inside bottom. Pictures 3 and 4 show what I think may be a repair on the rim. Again it doesn't show on the interior. This pot is large compared to many of the other majolica type pots listed on ebay. It has some wear. But displays well. Email if you have questions. James Kent Luxor Jardinière—Lovely! Up for auction is an elegant jardinière made by James Kent of Longton. Staffordshire. In the Luxor pattern, it measures 6 ½” in height, 6 ½” in diameter across the rim and 9” at its widest. The main color is a lovely cobalt blue. A band across the upper middle features diamond and teardrop-shaped cartouches connected by a garland of ribbons and leaves. Above and below are checkerboard cartouches. Gold-bordered chains run along the rim, base, and central band. The jardinière is in excellent condition. To note are three small hairlines running from the rim; one is ¾” in length and the other two are ½” There are no chips. Cracks, other hairlines, repairs or the like. The bottom of the inside shows crazing, but there is no crazing to the outside. The gold at the rim shows ... morea bit of wear but is otherwise intact, as is the very finely applied enamel glaze throughout the piece. This is truly an elegant jardinière. These big planters with an African crowned crane. A stork and plants in relief bisque on the front are Henri Ardant for Limoges between 1873 and 1883. Glazed porcelain in apple green contrast with the moss green scene in bisque. On the sides, handles are dog heads in light yellow. In very good condition, save some loss of gilt and one feet-in one of the planters- that has been restored(see photo) But neither diminish the beauty of the planters, which are perfectly usable. On the bottom, a number: 398" and"H.A. Cie" Ardant's mark, both incised in the porcelain. Height: 11" diameter at the bottom: 8" diameter at the top: 6 1/2" Returns are not accepted.

Antique Old Paris Porcelain Hand Painted Reticulated Centerpiece Compote Stand
This lovely ca. 1845-1865 porcelain compote was made in two sections and joined with threaded rod and hand made nuts. It was the product of one of the fine porcelain factories operating in the vicinity of Paris in this period and has richly colored hand painted flowers on a purple ground ornamenting the square base. It stands 8” tall x 9” across the top and the base is 3 5/8” square. There are no cracks. Chips or repairs and there is wear to the gold accents.
