Waring, direx. The print will be accompanied by a large sheet of text related to the lithograph. Antique Royal Copley Bird on Log Planter Description This is a Antique Royal Copley Bird on Log Planter. The size is 6 1/5" tall by 4 1/4" long. By the type of clay This bird was produced in the 1920's or 1930's. There isa stress crack at the opening of the planter as seen in the photo. This happened while they were producing the piece. The figurine was pulled out of the mold incorrectly causing a stress crack. This will not get worse. The colors are air brushed on in the typical hues of that time. You are bidding on an antique Royal Crown Rosenthal Monbijou serving tray/platter. This is a beautiful 19th century porcelain serving tray/platter with gold leaf handles and intricate scallop work on the rim. It is hand painted with flowers and leaves in beautiful colours for any decor. Also notice the beautiful blue on the back of the platter. This is marked on the back of the platter and is also artist signed(please see pictures) The platter is in excellent condition. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some very minor paint loss to the sides. Which is not noticeable when sitting on the table. Feel free to ask any questions. This auction is for a lovely large antique jardinière or console bowl from the S. Fielding& Co. of Staffordshire. England, which operated under the trade name“Royal Devon. The jardinière is round and rests on four gold feet. It was decorated on all sides with gorgeous floral patterns. The floral designs were“framed” with ribbons of off white“beading” bordered with gold rope designs. The top and base were coloured a mottled ochre colour. The piece is approximately 5 ¼ inches high and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. It has the back stamp as shown. The piece is in vintage condition with NO chips or cracks. There is discernable crazing ... moreand there is discolouration in the interior of the bowl. There are some scratches to the gold on the feet and wear to the bottom of the feet. And as is standard with most English bone china. There may be small factory flaws such as tiny bits of ash and transfer trapped under the glaze. However, in spite of these imperfections, the bowl still displays beautifully. You might be able to lighten the interior discolouration with denture cleaner. And if you put a plant in it, you would hide the interior flaws. Please see the photos as they are an integral part of the description.
