Clean with NO cracks. Chips, missing glaze or other visible damage. Has a couple of green glaze spots on bottom edge. Not too visible when sitting. Truely a wonderful piece. Ive had it for some time debating with myself if i should keep it in my collection but I've got my eye on a pair of vases. This piece weighs 50 lb and is 18 1/2" tall and 22" wide at its widest. It bears a Qianlong seal script mark in iron red but it is not of that period. This was made most probably around the turn of the century before the Republic period(Thats was my presumption when I bought it. It shows normal wear marks on the foot the base is stained reddish brown and the very bottom is not glazed over. The mark is well done and it proportional to the size of this bowl The Gold glaze is starting to show its age with a minimal amount of discoloration.
