Here we have an Antique Nippon Hand Painted Planter Jardiniere with Handles. Moriage Bead. It measures 4 1/8" tall and 5 1/2" wide(handle to handle) It is in very good condition with no chips or flakes. There are several hairline cracks on the bottom near the hole(can be seen in the last picture) This piece is beautifully hand decorated with pink and purple flowers, gold outline and moriage beading, gold scrolls and swirls in the pink area. Up for auction is an antique 5" Brush planter recently found in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It features a faux wood finish with a varigated green color. This is a beautiful embossed mushroom decorated planter found in good to very good used condition. The only condition issues to report is a small chip on the bottom, otherwise not visible, near the 5" marker on the bottom, and the other issue being the lime rings inside- see photo 7- so if not using it as a planter might want to try Lime Away or some such cleaner. Antique Limoges Jardiniere Planter RARE Flow Blue Under Glaze Design 1880's
This is a magnificent and rare piece of flow blue Limoges. This huge jardiniere was made by the William Guerin Co. in the late 1880's. It features a gorgeous design of poppy flowers and leaves that have been painted in the blue Sevres style under the glaze. This technique allowed the blue to flow with soft edges when it was fired. Creating a soft and beautiful image. This is a very large piece painted in this style and extremely rare. I have not been able to find another like it. It is in very fine condition with the exception of gold loss around the rim of the mouth opening. Because these pieces were used to hold floral displays and live plants, this is considered normal ware. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines, and the glaze is in very fine condition.The circumfrence is 42" at the widest part. It stands 9 1/2" high, 10" ... moreacross the mouth, and 7" across the base. This piece was not signed by the artist, but they did leave their ghostly finger prints under the glaze as shown in picture#6. The bottom is marked with the green under glaze WG&Co stamp used before 1891. This large jardiniere displays beautifully and works well with other flow blue pieces as shown. It would look gorgeous on a center hall entrance table, or on the sideboard in a period style dining room. This is a real treasure. Shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation. Victorian Ceramic Jardiniere Planter Applied Gold Gilding Birds and Branches
You are bidding on a footed ceramic jardiniere or planter dating from the Victorian Era circa 1880. Thick gold leafing or gilding has been applied on a forest green ground with birds and branches that have been incised with fine details. The piece stands 9" tall and it's 9 1/2" wide at the rim. There is no makers mark or impressed marks. As shown in our pictures. There is some crazing throughout inside the planter that does not go through the heavy glazing. There is a light crack at the rim. The condition of the gold gilding on the birds and branches is good. The painted gold on the feet, handles and rim is worn. The green ground is not applied evenly and has a few lighter spots, it also overlaps the gold on one of the feet. It still remains a nice unusual planter that displays very very well! It is marked on the underside of the base with an impressed mark which you can see illustrated in the 2nd image. It measures roughly 9" tall x 11" in diameter at its widest and weigh close to seven pounds. The diameter across the top opening is just under 9 1/2" The decoration features gold gilt over swirled bands of cobalt blue and maroon. The condition is very good. Up for auction is what I have identified by the mark on the bottom. Is an Ott& Brewer Etruria Pottery of Trenton, NJ Jardiniere Planter. This jardiniere is in excellent condition. It has a green transferware pattern all the way around with a very intricate floral design. It has embossed bands of leaves and has two embossed marblized bands in a brown shade separating the floral design. It has minor gold wear- nothing distracting. It is clean, with some glaze pops inside. Marked on the bottom Etruria in red over glaze with a 2921 gold decorators mark. It measures 11" handle to handle and stands approximately 8 3/8" tall. Large Majolica Jardiniere Planter Drip Glaze
It is a solid planter. It does have overall crazing. A surface glaze crack near the bottom that does not show on the inside(see photo) and a 1" hairline on the inside rim. The underside has some numbers and letters that I can't make out. Measures apx. 9 1/2" tall and 9 3/4" across the top rim. The coIors are browns and greens and the glaze is shiny. I will pack it with care for a safe arrival.

This auction is for a wonderful antique(age? 1800s? B&M CHINA jardiniere/planter. From what I could find. I*believe* the B&M marking on the bottom stands for Bagshaw& Mier, manufactured in England. This jardiniere is white with gold draped ribbon and bows and gold trim. It's BIG! 8-1/4" tall x 8-3/4" top diameter x 38-1/4" body circumference. It has some age crazing(see pic#5 for a close-up example) one spider/hairline and a couple of glaze pops/dimples on the body(see pic#6) and some spider/hairlines in the bottom(see pic#7) but NO chips or breaks. I have delt with many pieces of Austrian majolica and this sure looks like one to me. It is marked on the bottom"ALHAMBRIAN" and"ENGLAND" printed over glaze. I found NO references to an English pottery or potter called Alhambrian in my English potters reference book. I did find a mention that Alhambrian was an Importer in England between 1880-1910. The jardinière is round and rests on four gold feet. It was decorated on all sides with gorgeous floral patterns. The piece is approximately 5 ¼ inches high and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. It has the back stamp as shown. The piece is in vintage condition with NO chips or cracks. Limoges red and green mark on the bottom. There is some water staining on the inside. The cray flower frog has been broke at one time and has been glued back together. It can be attributed, according to the author, to L'HERMINE at ONNAING in France circa 1880-1900. Splendid decor with bird and nest with eggs. Snake, mollusk and foliage(ivy, reed) made in the famous high relief PALISSY style. Good condition for its age with no cracks. No hairlines or spots but it should be noted: there is a wing of the bird missing( picture 7) lack of reed( picture 8)and tiny scratches on the twigs from the bird's nest. This is a large piece. 12"hi Hand Painted Roses Green Gold on Black Antique Pottery Jardiniere Planter
Very nice old numbered(in gold at the bottom) jardiniere in solid good condition. It measures 12" high and roughly 12" wide at its top. It has some crazing under the glaze at its bottom. However, overall it is solid, strong and ready for many years of continued use. The roses are hand painted with green and gold vines and leaves& gold finish around the top rim with wear into the gold as would be expected in a piece this old. There are some minor scratches in the black finish. but insignificant overall.
