Antique 1920s Art Deco Orange Iris Green Stem Hand Painted Ceramic Floral Vase Pot No Reserve Price 10% of all of my sales will be donated to MDA(Muscular Dystrophy Association) Thank you. This pre-owned floral vase/pot belonged to my late grandmother and was displayed in my grandmother’s parent’s home during the very early 1900’s. There is a painted‘02’ in the bottom of the vase that may indicate that it was painted in 1902. This item does show some crazing which is not unusual. I do not see any chips. Cracks or repairs. The only minor chip that I can see is on the base and can be viewed in the picture of the vase showing the measurement of the base. The width of this vase is approximately 4½ inches across the base and the 4½ inches across the opening on the top. The widest part of the vase is approximately 6 inches. The height ... moreis approximately 3 3/8 th inches and weighs 1 pound 5.7 ounces. Old Art Deco Era Girl Purple Figural Planter Shawnee? 8" Tall
This is an old Deco figural planter made way back by one of the big USA well know manufacturers but I can't remember which. I was thinking Shawnee but can't really remember. She is 8" high and approx. 5 1/4" wide. Base is oval and approx. 3 5/8" x 3" There have been lots of this"Deco Girl" style figurines throughout the years in more-or-less the same pose from Japan but although this item is not marked. She is neither Japanese nor Chinese. She has two manufacturing flaws: There is one small hole on shoulder and what looks like a chip on base edge but it's under glaze. Her dress is mostly purple. Her signature is on the bottom. Made in her Hollywood. California studio, Hedi Schoop Art Creations. This piece is in good condition considering it was thoughtfully created and signed by it's creator nearly 80 years ago! Atop the bird figurine's head is a small planting well. The body is a great size for a small succulent garden or single plant. It is hard to believe that someone would use this as anything but an art piece! The finish is glossy. Here is a Very Nice from what I believe is the 1940's Black& Gold Ceramic Planter These just don't show up much any more! High Gloss Gold Finish on the Dragon which is on 2 Sides Gold Trimmed on the Ends and Base! Large heavy Piece: Measures 10" x 8" at the Top. Base is Aprox. 7" X 4 1/2" Art Deco from the 1940's! Note: Last picture shown with a pair of Similar Lamps sold separately see other items! Minor Flaws: Slight Staining inside upper. Couple little spots which look like are original finishing flaws. Very slight gold paint loss on the 2 handle ends, Slight Gold Paint loss on one of the dragons, again it looks an original flaw. I try to get picky with description.
