It was purchased from the German collector Richard Zeumer somewhere between 1890 and 1902 is our best estimate. Zeumer operated the largest game and toy store in Saxony and dealt in Erzgebirgo toys. Mint Condition. My Grandparents brought these back with them from Germany when they left after WWII they are from Heilbronn Germany, made in the early 1900's, the exact date is not known. I had them inspected by an antique specialist and they could not tell the exact date either but agreed that they are early 1900's. All six pieces are in mint condition without any blemishes. These six figures are truly beautiful and have a classic German lifelike personality in the carvings. True little gems. They range in size from 5.5" to 6" inches tall. These will only gain value with time, they are family heirlooms and I am only selling due to financial need as I have launched a new business and need cash right now to get it going properly. The ends of each flap of the liner is starting to dry out but the liner is in very good condition. Antique J.H. Peters& Bey. Hamburg 11, Germany marine navigation ship lantern. This is a vintage possibly WWII era anchor light made by the German company J.H. Peters& Bey; Hamburg. The plate on the back of the anchor light reads"J.H. PETERS& BEY HAMBURG 11. The lamp body is made of galvanized metal and the chimney cap is made of copper. The Fresnel lens is hand-scribed with some information as seen in the photographs. Numbers inscribed include the number of the lamp(43344) and other information that is unknown. Approx. 16" tall without the iron swing handle up 19" and 8" total width. Under the copper top you can still see original soot from the lantern fixture. Truly a unique vintage piece. Beautiful German highly detailed hand carved wood statue or figure of a monk drinking out of a beer stein. In good used condtion. Missing a piece of his hat in the back on top. Could be missing other pieces here and there. I can't tell. Looks to be pretty complete but has some bumps from age. Signed on the bottom and has original stickers and stamp from original maker. Very nice well carved piece. Painted very nicely. Nice colors. Very nice face. measures about 15 inches high by about 7 inches wide by about 4 1/2 inches deep. Really nice piece. Made in Germany. Antique German Heubach Character Doll appraised by Antiques Road Show
I took this doll to Antiques Road Show back in 2011 and he valued it between $250 to $350. I was told by the appraiser that the doll was created sometime between 1910 and 1925. He is marked as shown in the photos. The body is in pretty good shape but the outfit is not original. Shoes are not included.
