It measures 39" ... morehigh and is 16" across at its widest dimension. I h ave NO idea as to what style to properly attribute this plant stand to. I have seen somewhat similar plant stands described as being Neoclassical. Edwardian, Louis XIV, Louis XVI, Empire or Louis Philippe. I am truly out of my element here! English? French? I simply do not know. I do not find any makers marks on it and I don't know when or where it was made. Based on some of its construction details thou gh, I think it likely it dat es from the early part of the 20th c entury. The stand is tight and sturdy an d t here are no repairs on it. I can find only one s pot on the corner edge of a leg where there is a small area w here the wood is chippe d. Personally I wouldn't touch it- I' d just turn the stand so it was on the least visible side. The big gest condition issue I see is that the original finish has some whit ish areas from age deterio rat ion. I believe that the finish is lacqu er. And simply respraying it with a fresh coat of lacquer would soft en and meld into t he original finish to restore it. As such, I have avoided putting any thing on it that would reduce the effectiveness of a simple lacquer recoat. I am willin g to pack and ship this plant stand and ship it as is stated in my shipping terms. I am a very careful packer and have packed and shipped a great many fragile items. Here we have an Antique Nippon Hand Painted Planter Jardiniere with Handles. Moriage Bead. It measures 4 1/8" tall and 5 1/2" wide(handle to handle) It is in very good condition with no chips or flakes. There are several hairline cracks on the bottom near the hole(can be seen in the last picture) This piece is beautifully hand decorated with pink and purple flowers, gold outline and moriage beading, gold scrolls and swirls in the pink area. Measuring about 12" tall x 16" across, and weighs almost 17 ponds. It is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is crazing and at one point this had gold trim which is now worn. Up for auction is an antique 5" Brush planter recently found in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It features a faux wood finish with a varigated green color. This is a beautiful embossed mushroom decorated planter found in good to very good used condition. The only condition issues to report is a small chip on the bottom, otherwise not visible, near the 5" marker on the bottom, and the other issue being the lime rings inside- see photo 7- so if not using it as a planter might want to try Lime Away or some such cleaner. Antique Limoges Jardiniere Planter RARE Flow Blue Under Glaze Design 1880's
This is a magnificent and rare piece of flow blue Limoges. This huge jardiniere was made by the William Guerin Co. in the late 1880's. It features a gorgeous design of poppy flowers and leaves that have been painted in the blue Sevres style under the glaze. This technique allowed the blue to flow with soft edges when it was fired. Creating a soft and beautiful image. This is a very large piece painted in this style and extremely rare. I have not been able to find another like it. It is in very fine condition with the exception of gold loss around the rim of the mouth opening. Because these pieces were used to hold floral displays and live plants, this is considered normal ware. There are no chips, cracks or hairlines, and the glaze is in very fine condition.The circumfrence is 42" at the widest part. It stands 9 1/2" high, 10" ... moreacross the mouth, and 7" across the base. This piece was not signed by the artist, but they did leave their ghostly finger prints under the glaze as shown in picture#6. The bottom is marked with the green under glaze WG&Co stamp used before 1891. This large jardiniere displays beautifully and works well with other flow blue pieces as shown. It was located in the north east of France. They made soft paste porcelain in the SEVRES style from 1815 to 1877. This beautiful antique jardiniere features not only and ART NOUVEAU theme. But also an ART NOUVEAU shape! The mouth to this jardiniere fans out like a flower and the two handles become flowers. It has a pierced rim in the front and back. Up for auction is what I have identified by the mark on the bottom. Is an Ott& Brewer Etruria Pottery of Trenton, NJ Jardiniere Planter. This jardiniere is in excellent condition. It has a green transferware pattern all the way around with a very intricate floral design. It has embossed bands of leaves and has two embossed marblized bands in a brown shade separating the floral design. It has minor gold wear- nothing distracting. It is clean, with some glaze pops inside. Marked on the bottom Etruria in red over glaze with a 2921 gold decorators mark. It measures 11" handle to handle and stands approximately 8 3/8" tall. The Staffordshire of America" In 1852. Two immigrants from Staffordshire founded the Trenton's first industrial pottery, Taylor and Speeler on Mill Hill. Antique Lrg Numbered 12" Hi Black Porcelain Jardiniere Hand Painted Red Roses
Very nice old numbered in gold at the bottom jardiniere in solid good condition. It measures 12" high and 11-5/8" wide at its top. It has some crazing under the blaze at its bottom; however. Overall it is solid, strong and ready for many years of continued use. The roses are hand painted with green and gold vines and leaves. There is gold finish around the top rim with wear into the gold as would be expected in a piece this old. There are some minor scratches in the black finish. but insignificant overall. I set it on a plant base for several photos; however, the pot is sold alone.

And dates from circa 1900-1920. It has a bucket form and elaborate painted decorations in the 18th century style. This jardiniere is white with gold draped ribbon and bows and gold trim. It's BIG! 8-1/4" tall x 8-3/4" top diameter x 38-1/4" body circumference. It has some age crazing(see pic#5 for a close-up example) one spider/hairline and a couple of glaze pops/dimples on the body(see pic#6) and some spider/hairlines in the bottom(see pic#7) but NO chips or breaks. Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this beautiful antique majolica jardiniere. Planter. I believe this was made in Austria in the late 1800's. I have delt with many pieces of Austrian majolica and this sure looks like one to me. It is marked on the bottom"ALHAMBRIAN" and"ENGLAND" printed over glaze. I found NO references to an English pottery or potter called Alhambrian in my English potters reference book. I did find a mention that Alhambrian was an Importer in England between 1880-1910. This beautiful jardinier is marked with the raised numbers"472" from the factory. It features a beautiful Victorian Art Nouveau flower scene on each side. I took several photos for you to see! Gorgeous Antique RRP Ransbottom Jardiniere RARE Yellow Mauve Floral Design NICE
For your consideration is this gorgeous Antique RARE Ransbottom Jardiniere with stand. I'm calling this rare because of the floral pattern and color combination. I can NOT find another Jardiniere and stand in this color anywhere on the internet. Overall condition is very good or better. No cracks or chips that we see but the stand does show some crazing, as shown in photographs. The flowers are a dark mauve color with the leaves being green and the vine a light brown, the primary base color is a yellow. We are guessing this jardiniere and stand will date to the 1920's or earlier. Notice the encised mark on the bottom is difficult to see because of the heavy glaze. The photo showing the mark was taken with NO flash so it could appear from reflective light. The total height is 21 1/4" tall. The bowl is 7 3/4" tall and the ... moreopening is 9 1/4" The stand is 13 3/4" tall with the base opening measuring 8 1/2" Overall weight of the two pieces is right at 13 pounds, we will carefully pack and ship each piece in seperate boxes with each box being insured for half the final sale value. We are no experts in pottery and with no markings we had to start from scratch. Through extensive research we were able to match it to another pedestal made by the Owens Pottery company. The Owens Pottery was founded by J.B. Owens in 1885 and began producing art pottery in 1896 with the introduction of the Owens Utopian line. Beautiful pink and cobalt blue jardiniere(planter) It is hard to photograph but the blue is a deep cobalt as you can see from a few pictures. The gold has faded over time as this is an antique. Offered is this beautiful Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville Ohio. Art Deco Style Ceramic Jardiniere Planter and Matching Pedestal. Markings: R R P CO ROSEVILLE OHIO NO 153 Features: 7 1/2 inch tall by 9 1/2 inch diameter planter weighing 9 pounds 9 ounces. With 6 pound 15 ounce 14 1/4 inch tall pedestal. Overall height measures 21 1/2 inches. Each is decorated with embossed Art Deco style leaves and flowers with a high gloss green and brown glaze. Both pieces carry the RPP mark. Condition: There is an old chip on the bottom rim of the planter that was touched up with green paint. It is not visible when the planter is sitting on the pedestal. The bottom of the pedestal has a chip on the inside of the rim that is not visible when displayed and a visible chip on the outside of the bottom rim(shown on last picture) There are no ... morecracks or hairlines. The planter sits flat on the pedestal with no rocking movement and the pedestal also will not rock while standing on a flat surface. This auction is for a lovely large antique jardinière or console bowl from the S. Fielding& Co. of Staffordshire. England, which operated under the trade name“Royal Devon. The jardinière is round and rests on four gold feet. It was decorated on all sides with gorgeous floral patterns. The floral designs were“framed” with ribbons of off white“beading” bordered with gold rope designs. The top and base were coloured a mottled ochre colour. The piece is approximately 5 ¼ inches high and 8 ¼ inches in diameter. It has the back stamp as shown. The piece is in vintage condition with NO chips or cracks. There is discernable crazing ... moreand there is discolouration in the interior of the bowl. There are some scratches to the gold on the feet and wear to the bottom of the feet. And as is standard with most English bone china. There may be small factory flaws such as tiny bits of ash and transfer trapped under the glaze. However, in spite of these imperfections, the bowl still displays beautifully. You might be able to lighten the interior discolouration with denture cleaner. And if you put a plant in it, you would hide the interior flaws. Please see the photos as they are an integral part of the description. Large Black Antique 12"h Black Porcelain Jardiniere Planter Pot w/ HP Roses
Very nice old numbered(in gold at the bottom) jardiniere in solid good condition. It measures 12" high and 11-5/8" wide at its top. It has some crazing under the glaze at its bottom. However, overall it is solid, strong and ready for many years of continued use. The roses are hand painted with green and gold vines and leaves& gold finish around the top rim with wear into the gold as would be expected in a piece this old. There are some minor scratches in the black finish. but insignificant overall. I set it on a metal"rape-leaf" plant base for several photos.

This is a wonderful old porcelain jardiniere/compote/planter. I believe it is English pottery. And dates back to the early 1900's. A dark cobalt is the color of the jardiniere, and with the flash it shows a bit brighter. It stands 9 1/2 inches tall and is 12 inches wide. The opening is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. There is a dent around rim which is an imperfection in the making. There is a very tiny chip on top of that dent.can be seen in last picture) There are no cracks and no other chips. SPLENDID AND VERY RARE PALISSY ANTIQUE MAJOLICA JARDINIERE CACHE POT This beautiful and rare collector's item is illustrated in the book" Les Barbotines" by Pierre FAVETON. Page 3. It can be attributed, according to the author, to L'HERMINE at ONNAING in France circa 1880-1900. Splendid decor with bird and nest with eggs. Snake, mollusk and foliage(ivy, reed) made in the famous high relief PALISSY style. Good condition for its age with no cracks. No hairlines or spots but it should be noted: there is a wing of the bird missing( picture 7) lack of reed( picture 8)and tiny scratches on the twigs from the bird's nest. This is a large piece.
