Each pot has a hole on the underside to let water drain through to the underplate or stand. Both pots are covered with applied white Greek motif decorations. There are sacrificial scenes divided by acanthus leaf embellishments. The quality is superb. There are no hallmarks to identify the maker. Possibly Turner. Up for auction is a really cool vintage plantar that features a dutch boy holding a detailed flower pot. At the widest points. Planter measures about 6" long x 4" wide x 5 3/4" high. The small plantar measures 2 3/4" wide with a 3 1/4" diameter. Colors are nice and vibrant. Condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing gong on. Antique 1890 Earthenware Ohio Pottery Purple Lg Cache Planter Pot Victorian Era
Here we have a Vintage 1890's- 1910's Earthenware Factories& Potteries Ohio Pottery Cache Pot. Purchased last year from an elderly couple's estate where there were many antiques and collectibles. This large and Very Unusual Victorian era colored pot measures 8.5" tall x 9.5" in diameter. There aren't any cracks but there are two insignificant chips on the bottom ridge of the pot, as shown in photo. THERE ARE MANY GLARES IN THE PHOTOS Therefore difficult to get any photos without glares. So. For this reason I took many photos. There is gold along the top ridge with some of it being somewhat worn off. There are variations of purples(which are true to color in the photos) and it gradually changes to lighter colors as you move down towards the bottom area of the pot. The darker decorations are sort of a very dark ... morepurple/black with the outer edge of them showing more of a purplish tone and being partially and sporadically outlined in gold. The gold has faded to a light purple in areas. The leaf decorations are just what you see in a pink/purple color matching the lower color tones towards the bottom area of the pot. These too are very faintly lined in possibly a gold or faded gold into a light purple. The handles also have worn off gold on the sides and it looks like the gold areas have turned sort of a purple in color as it has done in other areas. The inside isn't bad for as old as it is. Some stains on the inside bottom that I have not tried to scrub off. With all the intertwined letters on the underside hallmark it was hard to tell one from another. Co. is the only thing that I did know. There is also a stamped and incised"446" I was told by marks4ceramics.com that this is definitely an American pot from the 1890's- 1910 era. I was told that it is either Ohio Pottery or Pioneer Pottery as both worked in the same area using the same raw materials and skilled artisans from the same communities. Here we have a LARGE Antique Rose Decorated Cache Pot. Looks sort of like a french Limoges decorative styling. S ort of shabby looking too. It's a Heavy and quite Sturdy pot. I was told by professionals that it was made around 1900. Which is an estimate. But. From the wear, definitely an older piece. Probably made in the Ohio Valley area, possibly from one of the several Bennett Potteries. But don't know for sure. Either way. It's definitely an older glazed earthen ware piece. It is large measuring 9-1/2" tall with a 11-1/2" diameter and measuring 14" from handle to handle. It has an old style to it with a raised decorative design and having slightly worn gold splatters/highlighting along edges and in certain areas on outside of pot. The rose looks to be a transfer and is in good condition. Pot looks older because ... moreof the wear. Crazing and a couple of minor 2" hairline cracks on the inside near the top, w hic h can be seen in photos. The H20 on the bottom is in a shiny gold matching the gold highlighting on the edges. Fenton English Bone China - orchid pot - planter mint
No flaws in this that I can find. Beautiful bone china made in England. I have no idea of the age. But judging from the style, I guess this to be from the aesthetic movement, arts and crafts period, around the early 1900s in England. What is particularly nice about this is that it is finished and painted on the inside and the outside. Lovely little piece at 5" wide by 5" tall. Perfect for small orchids.

World War II came and the company closed. In 1945 Robert took a partner and rebuilt the company but made less expensive pieces using transferware instead of hand painting them. This beautiful planter features porcelain BOW handles and sits on 4 feet. It is beautifully decorated with flower bouquets and the attention to detail all around. The flowers are diffrent on every side and the pink. Blue and gold adds to the overall beauty of this piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks! Large Black Antique 12"h Black Porcelain Jardiniere Planter Pot w/ HP Roses
Very nice old numbered(in gold at the bottom) jardiniere in solid good condition. It measures 12" high and 11-5/8" wide at its top. It has some crazing under the glaze at its bottom. However, overall it is solid, strong and ready for many years of continued use. The roses are hand painted with green and gold vines and leaves& gold finish around the top rim with wear into the gold as would be expected in a piece this old. There are some minor scratches in the black finish. but insignificant overall. I set it on a metal"rape-leaf" plant base for several photos.

But there is an impressed number on back. This is almost certainly an old German piece from the late 19th century. The pot has one small chip on the rim. THIS WONDERFUL VINTAGE JARDINIERE HAS A FLORAL ROSE DESIGN WITH GOLD LEAFING AND HANDLES. THE PLANTER HAS AN INSIDE RUSTY METAL LINER WITH AIR HOLES WHICH IS REMOVABLE. YOU CAN USE THIS PIECE TO PLANT SOME LIVE PLANTS AS YOU CAN FILL IT WITH STONES AND WATER SINCE IT HAS THE INSIDE LINER.
