Pair of vintage or antique German porcelain soldier figurines. Each figurine has a gold anchor mark. The closest mark to this that I found in my book of German porcelain marks is that of the Ludwig Wessell Company of Bonn. However. It may not that company. Figures could date from sometime in the 19th century to the early or even mid 20th century. Top of musket on one figurine is rough and looks as if there was more there, probably a bayonet. The other figurine looks to be in good condition.They each measure about 9 inches high. There is no reserve on these beyond my $19.99 opening bid. Check out my! An Estate find we have an adorable old set of ceramic/ porcelain Bust Figurines probably dating to around the 50's or so. They measure about 6 1/2" tall by about 4 1/2" at their widest. Gorgeous pink. White, green and gold coloring. In wonderful condition for their age. The man looks to be free of any damage, but has what looks to be a minute manufacturer flaw in the porcelain in the middle of his back. The lady has a couple of marks on her chin, can't really tell what it is, possibly ink marks and a small repair on the bow atop her head, all not too noticeable but wanted to mention. We can find no Makers Marks. Their attire looks to be French. We have not cleaned these and they could use a wee wipe down. Photos were taken with a flash for detail. The bottom of each figure bares the German Sitzendorf mark dating them to approximately 1895. MEASUREMENTS: Height- Girl 4 1/4" Boy 4 1/2" Base- 1 3/8" square each CONDITION: Both figures are in excellent condition. There are a few tiny leaf chips- one o n the crown of grapes on his head and one on the vine she is holding. This loss is very minor and hard to detect. Balance. Including fingers, is all intact. Black& White Size. 7 1/2” x 4 3/4” This is an original vintage 1916 halftone print of Three Groups of the finest period of Chelsea Porcelain. Background: From a very important collection of Chelsea figures. Exhibited(1916) by a noted firm of London dealers, a garniture of 3 groups of figures by Roubiliac, formerly in the possession of a nobleman. The center piece is the famous“The Music Lesson” seated under a bower of white jasmine in full blossom was a damsel with a youthful musician. There is a small dog dressed in man’s attire dancing on a marble stool. The lady evidently teaching the dog to step to the music. The damsel in a white gown richly brocaded with gold and colors ... moreis shown wearing a pink cap and blue shoes. The gold and other ornaments are strikingly characteristic of old Chelsea. The other two groups area known as the Four Seasons– one group representing Winter and Spring. And the other Autumn and Summer. Winter wears a scarlet jacket, figured with black and gold and edged with ermine, also a yellow tippet of fur, a pink cap and pink shoes. Spring is charmingly arrayed in a green bodice and a white skirt, figured in gold and rich colors. She carries in her apron a profusion of flowers. Beautiful pair of german porcelain cherub figurals by Volkstedt. Dated to the late 1800's. Finely sculpted and beautifully hand painted in vivid colors. Each cherub is sitting outside on stones with a brook. The one cherub has a dog at his side, he is giving him a drink of water from a seashell. The other cherub is eating some grapes with a bird at the edge of the brook. They are on oval bases banded in gold gilt. They display beautifully with some minor damage. One of the cupid's one wing is partially missing, a tiny tip of the dogs tail is missing and the branch behind him is partially missing. This beautiful antique covered box has 4 different hand painted scenes of a lady and man and 4 different flower paintings. Open the lid and you are surprised by more flowers inside. The bee hive mark is under glazed in blue on the bottom indicating it is made by Ackermann and Fritze. It could be a copy, I am not an expert in this area. Stunning gold detail in very good condition with just minor changes(brush strokes) to the solid gold painted areas. Antique Continental Porcelain Man and Lady Figurines in Colonial Dress.
This auction is for a pair of antique continental porcelain figurines- a man and a lady. They are very nicely decorated. The colors are still vivid despite their age. They stand approximately 7.25" tall and are a little over 3.5" in diameter at the base. With exception of paint losses around the bases and some other slight discolorations the figurines are in great vintage condition. The lady figurine has no damages outside of the paint losses around the base. The men figurine has a few tiny nicks in addition to some discolorations. These figurines are unmarked. LG ANTIQUE GERMAN PORCELAIN FIGURINES MAN & WOMAN IN BLUE & WHITE W/DRESDEN LACE
These are two gorgeous mid to late 1800's figurines of a man and woman done in blue and white with Dresden lace. They are both 13" tall and I believe the mark on the bottom of the figures is from a German factory in the 1800s. They are wonderfully ornate. Both of the figurines are wearing hats and the man is holding an ax in one hand and the woman looks to be holding a small scythe in one of her hands. In their other hand they are holding flowers. The woman is carrying a large basket of flowers and an urn also filled with flowers is beside her. The man's arm is resting on a large pitcher which sits on a cut off tree which is also done in blue and white. The only other colors are their faces. His wife, Amphitrite, is approximately 5" X 2-5/8" X 4-1/2" high. The tines on Poseidon's trident are missing and it appears the plant next to him has been"retouched" as well as the plant next to Amphitrite. Each figure is marked with a gold"ANCHOR" mark only. HAND PAINTED BISQUE PORCELAIN FIGURINES This listing is for a estate sale find of a matching pair of a antique young romantic boating couple hand painted bisque figurines. They measure 11 1/2" tall. Have no cracks, chips, repairs or crazing and are both in absolutely prestine condition. They are each carrying a boat oar going to or returning from a romantic day on the lake together. They are marked with the numbers 4041 and 11 embosed on the inside bottoms with a number 39 in gold ink inside the underside of the male. These markings are consistant with those which are of Heubach Gebruder of Germany, circa 1890's and marketed by Royal Rudolstadt. Because I cannot assure the authenticity of these figurines I am starting this auction at a reasonably low price and will allow the auction to determine their value to you.

This is a pair of Antique French Porcelain JACOB PETIT Figurines. They are FLAWLESS. There are no scratches or chips on either piece. MY great great uncle. George Bierce, lived in Paris in the early 1920's and collected french antiques. He later worked for the Cleveland Historical Society where many of his pieces still remain. I inherited this piece and I am unsure if it is a early 19th century or late 18th century piece. Antique Porcelain Exquisite Dresden? Compote Bowl/Centerpiece W/3 Figurines!!!!!
From my 30 +++ years of collecting antiques. This is an antique Dresden style porcelain compote bowl/centerpiece with 3 figurines. The large procelain compote/centerpiece stands approx. 18 3/4" at it's highest point with the diameter around the bowl measuring approx. 28" 29" around the bottom section. The top opening of the bowl measures approx. 12 1/2" across x 13 3/4" across, at the longest points. Bowl is decorated with raised oak leaves and beautiful floral sprays of applied flowers. The bottom of the compote has a 3 footed base section. On the base of each foot, there are 2 open flowers, 2 closed flowers and 6 leaves on each. In this section, the pedals have chips on all the flowers except ONE. See photo#7& 8) One leaf is chipped and looks like 1 more has a"fleabite" chip. Otherwise, the rest ... moreare in good condition. The middle section has 3 figurines measuring approx. 4 1/2" 4 3/4" high. There is a large flower between each figurine. It has an approx. 8 1/4" pedestal with beautiful raised leaves and applied flowers. The 3 figurines, the 3 large flowers between them, and the leaves/flowers climbing up the pedestal are in excellent condition with no chips or damage that I can see. However, the very top section of the pedestal(where it attaches to the bottom of the bowl) has an approx 3" area that is chipped. See photo#9) Because of the location of this chip, I never know I had this until I was scrutinizing this porcelain to sell. It is underneath the bowl, but is present, nevertheless. Also, if you look at photo#9, you will also see 2 small flowers with a chip pedal on each. Except for these 2 small flowers, all the others on the bowl itself are in excellent condition! I know this piece is old, but I am no expert and do not know it's exact age. Underneath is marked M-632. See photo#11) Again, I do not know what this means. Lovely pair of European Victorian Bisque Figures is offered. Both have similar markings on their bases except one has stamped in a diamond shaped box an"E" and the other"R" They both have an incised"749" over"12" and"74" done with a brush. They stand a little over 13 inches. There is a line across the male figure's arms. See photo 3. It is not a crack, perhaps an aging mold mark? Just sweet and in very fine condition. Lady and Gentleman Antique Porcelain Figurines Collectible
Up for bid is a beautiful antique pair of porcelain figurines that are very old. These figurines have been around a long time and have seen some hard times. As a result they both have flaws. The Gentleman's leg was broken and repaired and carefully repaired at one time as you can see in pictures i provided. The lady also has small flaw in that part of bow on her hat was broken off at some point as seen in photo provided. This set belonged to my late grandmother. Despite flaws they are still a beautiful pair and their flaws are only really noticeable if given close inspection.
