Vintage Porcelain/ Ceramic Winged Swan Sleigh Planter This is an estate sale find. It is a very nice piece in good condition. There are hand painted pink flowers and gold ribbons all around the perimeter of the planter and on the front of the swan. The swan/ sleigh has a set of wings on both sides of the front. The ribbon has issues along the side. Just behind the lady, it is missing a section. This can clearly be seen in the photo's. The pink flower on the left shoulder of the lady has a small chip. That said, it is a nice piece. Very detailed and beautiful. The approximate size is 8 3/8" long and 6 3/4" tall. An unusual vintage planter in good condition. There are no chips or cracks and the piece is in excellent condition. The bottom is marked with the numbers 428 or possibly 425. Judging by the weight. Quality of the porcelain and hand painted work I judge this to be a Bavarian or European piece rather than a Japanese import. Dresden Porcelain White Swan Planter Vase Rose Flower #4899/0 w/Silk Flowers
Up for auction is this pre-owned beautiful white porcelain Dresden swan planter/vase. This was mine. But I am downsizing and need to part with it. I put flowers in it, but they are not attached and can be removed without harming the planter. Not sure if this is antique or vintage. Approximate information: 1) 9” long. 5” wide, 7” tall. 2) Weighs 2 lbs. 3 oz. with flowers. 3) Did not see any chips or cracks. There are some rough spots along the edges of the porcelain from the manufacturing process I believe(see pictures) See other pictures of rough areas. Not sure if flea bites—just looks like rough porcelain to me(please make your own determination) 4) This planter is white porcelain with yellow roses and green leaves. The roses do not look damaged in any way to me. The swan is accented with gray feet(not sure what they are made of—looks like ... morea metal but are probably just painted gray porcelain) 5) Excellent condition—really nice! Vintage Antique Porcelain Unsigned Hand Glazed Cherub & Swan Boat Planter Dush
Up for auction is a vintage antique swan and cherub decorated porcelain candy dish or planter recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. This was hand painted with irridescent glaze on one side only. This is 5" long by 4.5" tall with the dish or planter opening being 1.5" x 2" Very nice little candy dish or planter.
