Best Features Stunning Chinese fish bowl with highly detailed decoration on the panels. It has been hand painted in fine. Intricate detail with relief work. Very well made piece to say the least and also considerably heavy. The outer has been decorated on either side to show Chinese girls with fans. The top edging of the piece is also hand painted with fine. Red brush strokes. The inner of the pot shows red and black fish with green detail in the middle of them. Here we have an Antique Nippon Hand Painted Planter Jardiniere with Handles. Moriage Bead. It measures 4 1/8" tall and 5 1/2" wide(handle to handle) It is in very good condition with no chips or flakes. There are several hairline cracks on the bottom near the hole(can be seen in the last picture) This piece is beautifully hand decorated with pink and purple flowers, gold outline and moriage beading, gold scrolls and swirls in the pink area. It a wonderful depicting of an early 20th century changing screen with a figurine of a woman peeping out to get some advice from or give some direction to a figurine of cupid-complete with wings and arrow quiver. There is definitely some conspiring going on. The piece is also decorated with applied flowers and accented with raised dots. The bottom mark says"Hand Painted Lenwile China. Vintage Hand Painted Planter Made in Japan. NO RESERVE.
This is a lovely vintage planter that is in the shape of a shell boat. The little figure sitting on the shell has a pretty face. There are no broken parts not even the flowers. There are no chips or scratches. The glaze is in wonderful condition. It is hand painted and made in Japan. I have been told it is from the 50-60's. Japan is on the bottom it is blue in color if that helps determine the age better. I have looked for another one on the internet but could not find one. It is about 6 1/2" long and 5" at tallest point. There are pink and yellow flowers on the boat. The leaves are maroon.Gold and white, the boat is white and has gold specks. The base is green. This antique pearlware earthenware flower pot is hand decorated with cottage and landscape scenes in pink lustre all around the body. Measures 3 3/4" high and is 4 1/2" in diameter across the top. The base measures 2 7/8" across. This is a Staffordshire. England, piece that dates between 1815 and 1860. This flower pot is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO cracks. Chips or repairs. Indicates that it was probably made by the Morimura Brothers. Who sold Nippon and Noritake. This four footed bowl measures approximately 9-3/4" in diameter and 4-3/4" in height. The flowers are bright magenta and yellow. With blue and green leaves and gold beading. The top rim is scalloped. The gold trim paint on the rim and two handles does show some age, as with most pieces of this time. The planter dates from the early part of the 1900's. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. This hand painted flower pot is in great condition. I believe it is made of porcelain. But I'm not 100% sure. It has painted yellow flowers and the pot is white in color. There is a hole at the bottom for water drainage. The bottom plate is attached to the pot and can not be removed. The bottom plate is more worn than the rest of the pot. There is discoloration throughout(especially on the inside. The gold leaf is somewhat faded(more so at the bottom. There is a hairline crack on the inside. There is debris on the plate.
