Offered for sale is this very nice nineteenth century portrait stove tile. It was made in the Broome. Kirkham& Robinson(later Providential Tile Works) factory in Trenton, New Jersey. The tile features a left facing portrait of a curly-aired lady wearing a cap. It has a green/gold majolica glaze. This piece is 2 3/8" across and 3 3/8" with the wooden frame. The back is marked"B.K.R. L TRENTON N.J. in raised letters. The tile is in very good estate condition. There is a little roughness on the rim under the frame and expected crazing of the glossy glaze-see enlarged photos to evaluate. This early American stove tile should be an ideal addition to a collection! The cost of U.S. insured shipping and proper packing is $6.00.

These are very pretty stuffs. Here got 1 big bowl, 2 small plate, 2 big plates, and 1 median size of plate. The small plates' weight is 9.8cm, the big bowl's weight is 15.5cm, big plate is 20cm, and the median plate is 17.5cm. There are very pretty. Remarkable Paul Jean Milet Sevres porcelain box. This box has been coated with a dark green drip glaze that contrasts beautifully with the brass border. Latch and garlanded rope and wreath decorations on the sides. The top also features a rectangular flower metal applique. The bottom is signed with the"MP Sevres" mark, which was used from 1911 until 1930. The box is in very good condition. No chips. 5" Niloak Lewis Glaze Vase 20s Arts & Crafts Pot/Vase Mottled Green Over Yellow
Beautiful hand thrown 5" vase. The lower color is kind of an apricot color. It has a paper sticker. Thats worn but readable. The bottom has the empressed mark of the 1920's. They stamped it at least 7 times al over the place, none are complete impressions but readable. The glaze has a very warm arts and crafts feel to it. No crazing in this thick glaze. Theres a#50 in grease pencil, which was probably the original price. There is a dimple on bottom edge that was done when it was created, I show it in a photo. There are a couple of small chips on the bottom not really signifcant. If you don't agree I would happily refund your money if you contact me right away. This is a antique green glazed(sancai tricolor style) pottery jar bottle. From the Tang dynasty of China, circa 700s to 900s AD. It was recovered from a Chinese shipwreck in Indonesian sea. Due to long exposure to sea water, much of the glaze has worn off. It has birds motif on its body. This bottle might have been used to store liquid medicine, or maybe even used as a snuff bottle? Antique Yellow Ware Old Green Glaze Pottery Milk Pitcher
This is an antique yellow ware milk pitcher with multi color green glaze. The pitcher looks very old- it measures 6 inches tall and is in great condition with the exception of one small chip under the base. Tiny but heavy crazing is visible throughout on close inspection. No other issues or damage. Decorated with an odd pattern of flowers. I do not know the maker and the pitcher does not appear to be marked. Very nice old pottery piece. Due to several issues with recent transactions I feel the need to add a return policy to state the obvious and a few other things to try to avoid misunderstandings so here goes: Although I strive for accuracy in my listings I use a good old fashion ruler for measuring- not some scientific method- so all measurements are approximate. Wonderfully Rare Very Old Gorgeous iridescent Emerald Green Russian 2 gallon crock. The clay is red and comes from an elderly gentleman's Florida estate so it is probably a Georgia or South Carolina piece. Very hard to find information on this great piece. I can not find another one like it. So going by 40 yrs of antique collecting experience I will say this. 1 Very unique color. See pic# 2 with the incised Russian Makers mark and 2 gal size mark. This is it's true beautiful iridescent emerald green color that the sun shows off. 2 This is a Russian piece. See pic# 2 The stamp is in Russian Cyrillic. See Pic# 12 for a copy of the Cyrillic alphabet. What I do not know ... moreis if this piece was made by Russian Immigrants from the Georgia. South Carolina( red clay) area or was it imported in the 1800's. I do not know what color the clay is in Russia. Either way it is an extremely rare piece. 3 The piece has two production blemishes(see pic# 4) on it about the size of a dime. It has usage wear on one side(see pic# 8) probably where it rubbed up against something(riding on a wagon? for a long period of time.This is not repair work. Does not go through to the inside. It also has a small chip on the lip(see pic# 5) This is a sturdy piece very solid and wonderful. 4 The piece measures 12" high- x-9 1/2" across at it's widest point-x- 5 15/ 16" across the outside of the lip- x- 4 7/8" across the base. ELEPHANT BOOKENDS DRIP GLAZE PALM TREES After a lot of research I have decided these book ends are a mystery. The palm tress can be any maker. The elephants are in the shape of SylvaC but are the wrong size. The drip glaze is very similar to sevral Sydney potteries from the 50's like MCP and Mashman. Obviously there is no marks. The elephants are the very rare short trunk variety now extinct. Actually they have had their trunks broken off and glazed over. I can detect no difference in the glaze so I don't know when it was done. One elephant has a hairline on one leg. This can only just be felt and seen and this elephant seems to have been reglued to the base. The bases had a felt covering which I removed to look for marks. There is some felt left on the edges. HAMPSHIRE, MATT CUCUMBER GREEN GLAZE, TALL PITCHER~~
For Auction is a tall Art Pottery Pitcher or Ewer made by The Hampshire Pottery Company of Keene. NH. It is just outstanding! The Pitcher stands an impressive 11 1/4" tall and has a diameter of approximately 5 1/2" at its widest point. The Vase displays a dark cucumber green glaze gives this piece that organic Arts and Crafts look. The applied handle has a beautiful acanthus leaf design at the top and bottom of the handle where it meets the body. I am simply amazed that the delicate handle has survived almost 100 years without breaking. The glaze is extremely similar to Grueby and Weller glazes I have seen in the past. The Pitcher is considered to be in very good to excellent condition. The only issue I can find is an inclusion in the body of the Pitcher. There is an area of white clay that feels like a small lump of clay protruding ... morethrough the glaze. This is factory and not damage. The pitcher is signed with the impressed Hampshire stamp signature. The Hampshire Pottery with the M in a circle Mark was used from 1904-1914 during Cadmon Robertson's tenure. There was no pottery produced from his death in 1914 till 1916. A period of almost 2 years. I would say this piece was made Circa 1916-1922. Hampshire Pottery started producing Matte Glazes in 1891. This was 7 years earlier than their main Competitor Grueby Faience of Boston. Mass. Hampshire Pottery resembles the style of Grueby but were much more affordable as they were mold made pieces as opposed to hand thrown. This will make a wonderful addition to any Matte Green collection of Art Pottery and would look great on that Stickley Mission Arts and Crafts Bookcase. For Auction is a wonderful piece of pottery made by Hampshire Pottery of Keene. NH. The piece is a Squat Classic Urn shaped Vase. The Vase Stands 5 11/16" tall and is approximately 4 3/4" in diameter at the widest part of the bulge. The rim measures 3 3/16" to the the outside edge. The Vase displays a wonderful Matt Cucumber Green Glaze that is pretty uniform throughout. The top edges of the vessel shows some bleeding to a Olive Green. The inside shows where the Matte Green Glaze Dripped inside and you can see Hampshire's Water Proofing Glaze over that. The Bottom edge displays that beautiful ground down. Smooth round bottom edge. This form is somewhat of a Classic Urn Shape with the flared rim however it is wider than the more traditional shape that is commonly found. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition ... moreas there are no cracks. Nicks, chips or dings. There are some glaze pops towards the bottom of the vessel which contribute to that organic influence. There are also a couple of areas that seem to be a little darker almost as if a sticker might have discolored the glaze. The Vessel is signed on the bottom with the incised"Hampshire Pottery" in Script letters along with the number"121" which is the shape or mold number. I believe this to be a very early mark prior to Cadmon Robertson's tenure with Hampshire. The Hampshire Pottery pieces that have the M in a circle mark can be dated from 1904-1914. These were the year that Cadmon Robertson ran Hampshire Pottery. Since this piece does not have this mark I would say this piece was made Circa 1891-1903. Hampshire Pottery started producing Matte Green Glazes in 1891. This was 7 years earlier than their main Competitor Grueby Faience of Boston. Mass. Grueby Pottery didn't start producing matt green glazes until 1898. For sale is a super high gloss Fulper vase. This vase measures 10” tall by 10" wide. The vase has 2 large molded handles at the top of the vase. The vase has a ribbed form with each rib gradually getting larger with the widest rib at the bottom. The vase is covered with a light blue and green flambe glaze that has subtle crystalline highlights. The bottom has factory rough glaze pops that do not deter from the vases beauty.
