You are looking at and hopefully bidding on a most rare large piece of French 19thcentury(1860-1890) majolica-a cache pot/Jardinere and a large one.9" tall with an opening of 8 1/2-but the bulbous body actually goes out to about 11 inches. I've only seen one in mylifetime andit was consderablly smaller than this one. I believe there is one for sale ind the same rare pattern on Ebay at this very time.though smaller. 5-Lilles is an old French porcelain/majolica house-the bottomis marked with impressed with 1309/0 and above that is the well known fives-lilles mark-a great look and not a common one. The colors are phenomenal-the deep greens and varieted tourquoise leaves; browns/tans/Pinks/ all in relief with great care and quality. Offered is a fabulous antique French ART NOUVEAU JARDINIERE or CACHE POT. PLANTER from SAINT AMAND, FRANCE. This factory was established in 1718 by PIERRE-JOSEPH FAUQUEZ. It was located in the north east of France. They made soft paste porcelain in the SEVRES style from 1815 to 1877. This beautiful antique jardiniere features not only and ART NOUVEAU theme. But also an ART NOUVEAU shape! The mouth to this jardiniere fans out like a flower and the two handles become flowers. It has a pierced rim in the front and back. It has a deep purple to a lilac purple background which features white. ... morePurple, green and yellow flowers with green leaves on both the front and back with gold highlights. This is a very imposing piece in size as it measures 11 INCHES TALL and 15 INCHES WIDE. The foot measures 7.5 INCHES WIDE by 5.5 INCHES front to back. Here is a beautiful Original Italian painted and glazed Terra Cotta/ Terre Cotte Planter/ Urn- style piece. It is an Antique that is 100% Original and was done in the late 1800's and is date around 1896! From what I was told by an Antique Dealer/ Appraisal. During this time in Italy the infamous Dictator Mussolini had many Terra Cotta makers sent off as prisoners so there secret of making the famous pottery was not given away as he did the same to the Murano Glass-Makers around the same time. From what I and others can make out it appears to be stamped ANGELO RICCERI with some other letters or words that aren't readable due to a crooked or uneven stamping by the artists but I believe it says IMPRUNETA ITALY. In the middle of the stamping it says TERRE COTTE which is the Original way it was spelled. The diameter on top is 6" down ... moreto 3 1/2" for the pot part. The height is 5 1/2" inches tall. It has a remarkable Sky-like Blue painted around it with amazing designs to go with it in white! Just a Super Piece and can definitely be a piece in your house! This is hand painted in a deep cobalt under glaze with coralene"sand" finish and gold highlights. The interior is a lavendar pink color. It sits on four feet that are made to look like wood branches. This dates to the late 19th C. Victorian era and is marked on base with K&G and and HP or an NP? mark and has some gold gilders marks and what looks like a#20. It also looks like there are inpressed marks on foot that I can't make out. It's in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The coralene finish is excellent and the interior has some crazing which I don't know if it is from age or it is was made like that? Lovely French majolica swan planter/ vase dating to the mid Victorian era. Circa 1870's. The piece features elegant lines and beautiful glazes in mainly monochromatic colors of black gray shades. It is in very good antique condition, no defects ... moreor damage but needs cleaning, mostly on the inside. I did a light surface cleaning but it could use a deeper wash. Has beautiful glaze colors, at one time it must have been near someone who was painting as it had some surface paint flecks on it. I did manage to get most of those off of it. Not too difficult as they were so old I could easily remove them with my fingernail. The inside shows one- two manufacturing flaws in the form of small lines in the clay which have been glazed over. These are small and quite normal, not damage. There are 3 sets of numbers stamped in the bottom of this swan. Two of the sets are very distinct and mostly easy to make out. Interestingly, the last number of each set looks to be double stamped. The group of four numbers was originally 7535 with the last 5 being over stamped with the number 6. I think) The set of two numbers originally was seventy something. I can't make out whether the last number is a 6 which was stamped over to a 0, or some other number. The final group of numbers is very faint, almost didn't see them at all. They are impressed in the clay so lightly that I really can't be sure of the exact numerals of which there are

Antique English Victorian Majolica Jardiniere & Pedistal clate 1800's
Offered to grace any room of your home is this absolutly fabulous antique Victorian majolica jardiniere planter and pedistal. Made in England in the last quarter of the 1800's. The jardiniere planter is marked on the bottom with the numbers'1364' impressed in the clay. The pedistal is marked in several places with an English registration number of'Rd.285.461' Rd' stands for'Registered Design' and the numbers date this to have been made between 1896-1897. The jardiniere planter is very large and dramatic with elaborate roses and flower swags on both sides in haut-relief along with acanthus leaves. Garlands and other classic Renaissance motifs. This jardiniere is in rich warm green and gold ocher colors with a brilliant Robin Egg turquois blue interior and rim. It measures 16 inches wide at its widest outside ... morepoints. 12.5 inches tall and the open mouth is just over 11 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The only thing I could find is a faint line on the bottom of the planter which is common with antique majolica items of this size and age. The pedistal is in the shape of a Greek Corinthian column on the top with fluting that travels downward to three large ornate feet. The top of the pedistal has a beautiful raised motif that reminds me of the many European stained glass cathedral windows. The pedistal measures 36 inches tall. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks! The whole'ensemble' of the two pieces together measures 48.5 inches or just over 4 feet tall! Just fabulous! From bottom of foot to top edge, and 11 inches across. This piece is marked and numbered. It has some marks from original glazing. see photos) Some of the clear top coat is lightly peeling on the interior and very slightly bubbling on the exterior. This is expected given the size and age of this piece. No visible chips and no known repairs. It was originally purchased from Jerry Hayes. Splendid and rare antique large French majolica jardiniere planter circa 1880-1900. This item is extremely rare to find. The decoration is a hunting scene probably in North Africa( Algeria) where the last lions were killed during the French colonial period from 1830. The item is in very good condition for its age with no cracks. No chips, no hairlines, no repairs or discoloration. There are only some tiny scratches of the glaze on the handles, on the base and on the back( see the pictures) but nothing serious. WELCOME TO MY EBAY STORE! Just in time for the holidays I am offering this STUNNING pair of Majolica heavily textured Schierholz marked vases. They are mirror image pieces and stand 10 1/2" tall with 4" opening. Very organic in design from the waving top edge to the SPECTACULAR realistic applied porcelain roses with stems. Leaves and thorns, and embossed design on reverse and bearing the earlier Von Schierholz crossed blue lines mark. This pair comes from the Von Schierholz Porcelain Factory in Germany. Here is a good history about the company: Von Schierholz porcelain dates from around 1817. Since its inception. Rather than focus on dinnerware, the Von Scheirholz factory has produced some of the greatest examples of porcelain vases, compotes, and figural items yet in the storied history of Meissen, Dresden, and other producers ... morein what is now Germany. The Von Schierholz porcelain factory is still located in its original town of Plaue in Thuringia. Plaue is in what is now East Germany(about 60 miles north of Coburg. The factory was established by two brothers. Johann Karl Rudolf Heuäcker and Dr. Gottlob Ferdinand Heuäcker, in 1816. Dr. Heuäcker died a year later and Johann took on Christian Gottfried Schierholz in 1817. In that year the factory was granted an exclusive license for porcelain wares by the government of Schwarzburg-Sondehausen, which ruled the town of Plaue. These porcelain wares were manufactured for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In 1818 Johann Heuäcker left the partnership, leaving C.G. Schierholz as sole owner. The attention to reality in these handmade flowers& greenery stand out in German Fine Porcelain 19th Century History. These vases are a PERFECT example of his fine floral work. Item: Antique Majolica Ceramic Planter Note: Few things drive me as crazy as not being able to accurately identify Maker’s Marks on some of the items I sell here in my store. This is one of those times that even after A LOT of searching for a mark I have not been able to find one. Neither has many other people with better eyes than me. tTere is literally NO MAKER'S MARK at all. It comes from the home from a wealthy widow who is no longer with us. I purchased it(among other items currently listed) from her daughter who knows for a fact it dates from Pre-1951 because that is when she was born and it has been in her family's estate since before she was born. I am very open to any ideas from anyone or advice in precisely dating it and identifying the maker. Large 10" Antique Majolica Jardiniere Planter Roseville, Weller? Mint condition
Up for auction is a Very Large Georgeous Majolica Jardinere. It is unmarked I believe it to be either Roseville. McCoy, or Weller. Large 17" Antique Majolica Pedestal, Roseville, Weller? AMAZING CONDITION
Up for auction today is a Gorgeous piece of pottery. A very large Majolica Pedestal that stands 17" tall. The width at its longest point is about 9 1/2" and the top at the lip of the Pedestal is 8" wide. This piece is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. Antique Orchies French Majolica Cache Pot Planter Jardiniere-LOVELY
Beautiful Orchies majolica cache pot planter. The planter is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks. It does have overall glaze crazing and stilt marks on the bottom from the kiln firing. It also appears that through use the planter is showing signs of staining inside. Please see photos. The cache pot is approx. 7" high and 8" wide. This cache pot is really beautiful and needs to be seen to be appreciated. Beautiful Onnaing majolica cache pot planter. The planter is in very good antique condition with no chips or cracks.
