Offered is this beautiful Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Company of Roseville Ohio. Art Deco Style Ceramic Jardiniere Planter and Matching Pedestal. Markings: R R P CO ROSEVILLE OHIO NO 153 Features: 7 1/2 inch tall by 9 1/2 inch diameter planter weighing 9 pounds 9 ounces. With 6 pound 15 ounce 14 1/4 inch tall pedestal. Overall height measures 21 1/2 inches. Each is decorated with embossed Art Deco style leaves and flowers with a high gloss green and brown glaze. Both pieces carry the RPP mark. Condition: There is an old chip on the bottom rim of the planter that was touched up with green paint. It is not visible when the planter is sitting on the pedestal. This is unusual in that the lines are simple. And so is the glaze at first glance, though there is a depth to the color. The simple lines and single color are a departure from what you normally find from age of jardinieres. We were not able to identify the maker, who left no identifying marks that we could find, but the color of green glaze is consistent with the late 19th century. The stand itself measures approx. 21" tall and 12" in diameter, the jardiniere measures approx. 14½" in diameter by 10¾" tall. There is general cracklature to the glaze and there is a restoration to the rim of the planter. They still have a lot of life left in them, ready to grace your porch or sunroom, bringing in a splash of Victorian style and bright colorful flowers should you choose to fill this with an abundance of blooming plants. This auction is for a Lovely Antique Porcelain Cobalt Blue Jardiniere and Pedestal Beautifully Molded and Designed with Gold accents. With its Bold Colors and Unique Shape. The piece Displays Wonderfully. Together, it stands 28 inches tall, There is age-appropriate loss of the gold accent design throughout. There are no chips or cracks or damage to the jardiniere. There is crazing and a few small rust marks on the inside bottom(see photo 9) The jardiniere measures 12 1/2 inches across and 9 inches tall. The pedestal is build in three pieces and connected with a nut and a rod. It measures 19 inches tall and 10 3/4 inches across. The pedestal has loss of the gold design. Too, as well as a repaired chip about 3/4 of the way up(see photo 10) and a hairline that radiates up from the base that is hard to see from the outside(last two photos) I ... morebelieve the piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. Exquisite Victorian 19th century flow blue porcelain jardinière on matching pedestal plant Stand; beautiful overall light blue and burnished floral and leaf design; heavily gold leaved figural handles and borders. Pedestal measures approx. 20" high x 11" diameter; jardinière measures approx. 17" high x 13"20" diameter. A real find! Marked Cloisonne at the bottom of the pedestal; circa 1890. The light reflection of the camera makes the gold appear very light. It truly is a spectacular gold color. Fabulous in real!

Maddocks Lamberton Porcelain Blue Transfer Jardiniere w/ Matching Pedestal Stand
This is an antique Victorian Maddocks Lamberton English blue transfer porcelain jardinier& matching stand. We believe it dates from 1885-1915. The jardinière itself measures approximately 12" tall and 14" in diameter. The pedestal base measures approximately 22 1/2" tall. 12" diameter base and 9" diameter top. It has a blue transfer design with gold accents. The jardinière is in excellent condition except for some minor staining from standing water on the inside, some minor crazing and some hairline cracks to the bottom ring that do not go through to the inside. They are in the bottom jardinière ring and the bowl still holds water. The pedestal has a large old chip to the base that was repaired. The pedestal is very sturdy.
