vintage Antique Brush Green Mushroom Decorated Planter Jardiniere 5" #B220 1950s
Up for auction is an antique 5" Brush planter recently found in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It features a faux wood finish with a varigated green color. This is a beautiful embossed mushroom decorated planter found in good to very good used condition. The only condition issues to report is a small chip on the bottom, otherwise not visible, near the 5" marker on the bottom, and the other issue being the lime rings inside- see photo 7- so if not using it as a planter might want to try Lime Away or some such cleaner. Vintage Antique Yellow Fluted Ribbed Planter 7" diameter 6 1/4" tall
Up for sale is a vintage antique yellow ribbed or fluted yellow pottery planter or small jardiniere measuring 6 1/4" tall with a 7" top diameter. It was recently found in a suburban Philadelphia. PA area and is a fantastic color, highly desireable. Many pots like this were made in the central Ohio, Zaneville area some time in the 1930's and 40's. It is a classic style. I have had different sizes of similar pieces in the past. All are of lasting quality. This is found in good used condition with the only condition issue that we see is a very minor glaze loss chip on the bottom base, there is crazing throughout and for some reason there is a green spot in the bottom inside(photo 3) probably a glazing spill. This color would add beauty to any porch or indoor plant area. Very beautiful indeed this planter. For your collection I have found this Reallistic Bear Ceramic Vessel Head. I am not sure of the age but I would consider it to be antique because of the styling of the bear. I am also unsure as to wether there was a lid at one time or not. I don't really think there was a lid. The detail and painting of this piece is really special. There are a few small chips to the glaze. Please check the photos. Ther is also crazing to the glaze. Mostly inside. It is stamped"Artistic California 506" on the bottom. I believe this is a Clam Shell design.but the little neighbor boy thinks it is a"bunch of carrots standing in the ground" Cute. But he might actually have a career in art since he seems to have an eye for it- LOL! Most kids would probably not even care or wager a guess. This planter is in mint condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Looking closely I do not see any crazing or missing glaze. I do notice that this burgundy glaze also has flecks of Teal or Green in it, very pretty. If you think you see white spots that might be missing glaze- it's not, it is just ... morelight shine. I did a little research and there was a Southern California company called"Artistic Potteries Company" based in Whittier, California and it produced Art ware, giftware& figurines during the 1940's. Vintage Antique DONKEY PULLING CART FIGURINE/PLANTER VASE. Ceramic.
Up for consideration: Vintage Italian or Japan Pottery Hand Painted Donkey& Cart Planter. Age is unknown but is most likely well over 25 years old. Glazed ceramic. There is an overall light crazing on the item. Do not notice it as first but upon close inspection. It is there-had to use a magnifying glass since the colors make it harder to notice. Hand painted colors are vivid. Lots of character in this planter. No chips. Nicks or cracks. Super clean inside. Measures 7" long x 3.5" at its tallest x 4" at its widest. Antique Vintage Porcelain Planter Lady With Flowing Dress & Hat
Up for your consideration is old. Vintage, antique planter featuring a lady with a flowing ruffled dress& hat. The planter features pink, white and floral désing. It measures 8 3/4" tall by 4 1/4" 3 3/4" at base and approx. 4 1/2" deep. There appear to be either 2 small hairline fractures or crazing effects on the left and right side of the back part of the planter. They blend in with the crazing. Antique Vintage Hand Painted French Porcelain Cache Pot Planter, p215
Offered for your collecting enjoyment is this lovley vintage hand painted French porcelain planter. Made by Robert Bloch between 1918-1939 when they hand painted their pieces. World War II came and the company closed. In 1945 Robert took a partner and rebuilt the company but made less expensive pieces using transferware instead of hand painting them. This beautiful planter features porcelain BOW handles and sits on 4 feet. It is beautifully decorated with flower bouquets and the attention to detail all around. The flowers are diffrent on every side and the pink. Blue and gold adds to the overall beauty of this piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks!
