Old Knitted Figural Textile over Wood Central South American Shaman's Stick Wand
This amazing Shamans Wand measures about 15" long. I do think it is from Central or South America. But truthfully we are unable to identify exactly where this item originates from. The item consists of a stick wrapped in yarn or thick thread. At the top of which is a figure made from the thread and mounted on the stick. The figure has dangles of thread hanging off of it with feathers or worn tiny pieces of feather hanging mounted from it. The piece has real age and is deteriorated some with the feathers barely clinging on. All is pictured. That being said it is a very cool and unusual object of Tribal Art.

Offered here is an original Mexican/ Central American ceremonial. Painted bark mask dating from about 1890- 1900. The mask is 12" in.wide and 36" in tall. Most of the old paint has flaked off but one can still see what the colors originally were. beard and hair in black. Exceptional Central American Footed Pottery Bowl
This was one of several pieces acquired at an estate sale of a person who traveled extensively in Central America during the 1950's to the 1980's. This is an exceptional example of Mesoamerica pottery with the style and characteristics of Mesoamerican pottery. The exterior is incised with geometric patterns. The bowl has three hollow mammiform legs with rattle ball. The vessel has an articulated figure that circles the side of the bowl. There appear to be some minor cracks on the legs. But the piece appears not to have been restored.

Antique Fertility Pendant - Central American / Mayan Jadeite Objet / Artefact
Beautiful jadeite/ greenstone artefact. Located in Europe but almost certainly of southern Mexican provenance. Part of an estate, examined and unofficially valued three times since its discovery. Valuations vary between $4,000.00 US and £500.00 GBP, this valuation(an auctioneer's estimate set at between £500.00 and £1000.00) set in Germany this month. Who knows if the object or its design are pre-columbian, nobody has conclusively dated it. Thus for the purpose of this auction it is presented as old but not ancient. The object is solid and heavy. Beautifully cool and smooth to touch, worn by time and with some uncleaned grime in its deeper recesses. It features two original bored lugholes and was almost certainly designed as a ceremonial pendant. Nobody has been able to place its origin or use exactly, though apparently ... moreMayan. A friendly object, also probably denoting fertility, and large enough to frame or mount. As little is known the object is being priced at the lowest end of its valuation. And is being sold as is by a genuine private seller. Its location has been known outside of Latin America for at least forty years, and anecdotally much longer still. Apart from original wear and one very minor pock-mark on the rear, the object is strong and without faults or cracking. A curious and dazzling artefact for any collection or stand-alone display.
