This is an amazing and rare Dr. Daniels' Veterinary Medicine cabinet that dates from the 1900s. It was used in a general store to display the Dr. Daniels' line of products in an eye-catching manner. Home Treatment for Horses and Cattle, Dr. Daniels Famous Dog Remedies" The door has a tin panel decorated with a lithograph of Dr. Daniels and his variety of wares. The 2 sides each have 2 panels of glass. So there is glass all around! The case measures 38 inches tall. 29 inches wide and 11 inches deep. The old finish is original. The knobs are all original. Rare Corticelli 14 Drawer Store Display Spool Cabinet
The king of the spool cabinets not for the faint of heart. I restore antique furniture and have a backlog the hard work on this is done the layers of old paint have been removed except the small sections of drawer fronts which are just shellac all it needs to be finished is a little sanding some minor spot striping and a new finish. It stands 37 1/2" tall 20 1/2" wide and 18 1/2" deep. It has 9 spool drawers that hold 156 spools of thread or 1365 total and five larger open drawers for storage. The plate glass fronts are all present one was broken but I have a replacement cut and ready to install all the original hardware is present except one spool drawer pull which if copied from other present nothing major. Made of oak the top section has some dowel holes where a 1/2" oak wide advertising board went. Total length of cabinets total 23 feet. One top section has three doors and sits on two base pieces. The other top section has two doors and sits on one base piece. All doors are sliding doors and have beveled glass. There are 39 dovetailed drawers with fancy brass hardware. There are also adjustable shelves in the base with doors. Antique English Store Display Drawers Cabinet Liberty Bodice Decals Shell Pulls
This small antique chest of drawers is actually a store display cabinet that contained liberty bodices for girls and women of all ages. Brits of a certain age may remember these. As-according to Wikipedia-they were still being worn into the 1970s, although they were introduced at the end of the 19th century. When I purchased it. It had last been owned by a Dutch doll collector, who used it to store doll clothing and trimmings, and some of the drawers still have their stick-on paper labels written in Dutch. They're easily removable but I chose to leave on the ones that didn't fall off when I gave this a light cleaning. This would be a perfect doll bureau for your antique bisque doll, or just a fun little cabinet in which to store odds and ends. Because it was built as a store countertop display/storage piece, the bottom is perfectly ... moreflat. The chest of drawers measures approximately 21&1/4" tall. 20&3/4" wide, and 11" deep. All the drawers open and shut easily and the piece is in good sturdy condition. It appears to be in all-original condition except for the back, which looks to be a somewhat newer plywood replacement. There is expected scratching and wear, and a few chips in the wood and many scratches and tiny dings to the surface. Please use the zoom feature to see the condition in greater detail. Please note that the color is a dark mahogany color-I lightened a few of the pics in order to show the scratches and wear better. The decals are all in good shape as shown, with only minimal signs of wear. This weighs 22&1/2 pounds. This is a large two-drawer Clark's spool cabinet. In handsome walnut, measuring approximately 22" x 15" x 7½" The drawers have glass inserts with gold backing. Three of the original tab drawer pulls are still intact; one is missing. On the bottom drawer, the lettering is a little smudged. Also, there are a few driblets of reddish paint on the top of the cabinet. But otherwise, the piece is in very good condition. The case is a little wobbly because the side windows are gone. It has 4 sliding doors in the back. 1 is cleaner than the others and has been changed. Very heavy wood base. Your looking at a very rare antique general store counter display. It's a cabinet drawer for Tico Forms. Tico made large letter stamps. Has great logos and design that is on the drawer and rear of cabinet. Great joints on cabinet. The separators in the drawer are also wood. 24" x 20 1/2" x 6 1/2" There is a crack across the top and part of the bottom. Cabinet is still sturdy and strong. Could easily be repaired. Antique Country Store Cigar Tobacco Humidor Display Case Cabinet Vintage ~1910
This is a wonderful piece of Americana! Large oak humidor from a country or general store with original manufacturer's brass tag. F.X. Ganter Co. of Baltimore, Md, and original metal moisture tray. This solid oak humidor is 42" wide by 26.5" deep, and stands 44" high. It features all the original oak cigar slats and it has"egg and dart" moulding under the top glass. The top piece of glass is new, but I have the original top piece which is scuffed and scratched from decades of coins, cigar boxes, and elbows sliding across it. This piece was made somewhere between 1910 and 1918. The bottom wood shelf appears to have been replaced some time back. The humidor is in good condition and a tribute to American craftsmanship! Sides and drawers all appear to be original. back? see photo) This primitive counter-top display case was probably used in the early 1900's in an old dry goods or general store. exact age unknown. The cabinet is large and measures 17.5”W x 15”D x 18”H. The thread in the drawers is for display purposes to show you what size of thread can be used in each drawer and is not included with the cabinet. Condition shows scratches/nicks. Some minor wood chipping, and paint discoloration on the inside of the drawers. On the third drawer down you will see chips in the outer lower corners. This is a thick piece of glass that can be removed easily and replaced if desired. Antique Arts& Crafts Era Wood Wall Mount Store Display Cabinet Thread Display I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! This one is very very cool. It's a farm auction find that no one could identify for me. But the general consensus(and I agree) is that it was more than likely a store thread spool display piece. Made of solid wood, it has a tiger oak decorative veneer that shows some wear and egdge shipping. If you like rustic, the cabinet is for you- if you are looking for a project, it would be a beauty to restore also. The cabinet measures 25 1/2" wide at the top, 22" ... morewide at the body, has 6 shelves that are 18 1/2" by 2 1/2" deep, stands 23 1.2" tall, 5 1/2" deep at the top and 3 1/2" deep at the body. It weighs 14 3/4 lbs. The shelves are rounded to hold rounded items(like spools) and you can see that there's 7, a little over) 2" wide spaces on each shelf- you can see the wood is a little lighter between each one- they are not physically separated, the shelf is rounded and smooth all the way across. There are numbers, 1-6 stenciled in what looks like gold with a black rim, starting 1 at the back of the bottom shelf and going up to 6 at the back of the top shelf- I have no idea what they represented, and there's no other markings or identification on the piece. The cabinet is unfinised at the top- making it appear as if it attached to something from above, or possibly was built in? The bottom is finished, but you can also see the heads of the hardware attaching the sides, so I do believe it was not meant for display- the cabinet does stand well on its own as the bottom is flat. Antique Wood & Glass Sterilizer Display Case Cabinet Barber Medical Dental Store
Antique 1920's wood and glass sterilizer display case with original tin adjustable shelves. My guess is that this was repainted probably back in the 1950's. The finish is a dry off-white. There is a chip on the front edge of the base that was never repaired when it was repainted. A lot of people replace the tin shelves with glass. You could just use the tin shelves as a template. The shelves can adjust to several different heights. This case has nice beveled edges with glass on three sides for good display. There are very nice wide door hinges. This very solid display case weighs in at 10 lbs. It measures 12 1/4" tall 14" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The actual interior display height is 10 7/8" high. 11 1/4" wide and 7" deep. Antique primitive 7/8" thick wooden cabinet(I am not sure exactly what this is) May be a store display. Podium stand topper, cash drawer, but it is unque. It is approx. 20" x 12" x 13-3/4" high, and the caninet is made of what I believe is oak it is very heavy and has been stained dark. It has a shelf on the bottom that slants up toward the back and is made of rough saw board. It has a short drawer on the top with a wooden knob. Vintage Antique General Store Display Case/Cabinet Mid 1800's Lionel Ameri Flyer
For your consideration. Here is a vintage antique General Store display cabinet from around the mid 1800's. This is a very nice, very original, very unique cabinet! It measures 53 1/2" wide, 13 1/2" tall, and 22 1/2" deep. The display area's on the left& right sides are fully enclosed and the actual display area is 18" by 21" 11" tall. The middle display area, which sits over the"cash register" drawer is 6" tall, 12 3/4" wide, by 21 1/2" deep. This cabinet is made from solid oak. Although I believe the bottom is hard maple or something similar. This is no big deal, it most likely helped save the cabinet, but at some point someone fastened a large piece of wood on the bottom, I have never had that off, no reason to remove it because it doesn't affect the looks. I am sure ... morethey put that there to make the cabinet a bit more solid. I am sure that can be easily removed if you so chose. The cabinet still has the original bottom boards. For displaying items nicer, I simply cut 1/4" foam boards and put a maroon felt covering on them. They can be removed in about 5 seconds if you prefer the original wood showing. The most unique thing about this cabinet is the cash drawer in the middle that you access from the back. It has a finger lock combination and if you are not familiar with how those work I can tell you it's very unique. There is no doubt in my mind this display cabinet would have been the center of the store it sat in. This is most likely where the store's proprietor had his most important or most expensive wares. The cabinet still has it's original hardware. I like to keep my things nice. And I recently cleaned this up over the winter. I didn't snap enough photo's of it though. Honestly, when cleaning it up, I wasn't even thinking of offering it here. I didn't refinish it, just cleaned it up and cleaned the glass. This is a very cool old General store display cabinet that I purchased from an old couple who got it from their local general store when it closed down many years ago. I had every intention of refinishing it but my health wont let me do that. So here she is up for auctio n. As you can see it is a Wilmarth cabinet which is very rare.It does have white paint on the one side and needs new back doors. It does need to be redone but would make a great piece when finished. This is a pick up only item and it is located in Clinton Pa about 15 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. The Wilmarth tag reads Feb 10 1914. I will deliver for a fee. The length is 5 feet the width is 25.5 inches and it is 42.5 inches tall.This is a cool old piece but it does need to be refinished.

For sale is an antique oak and glass display case or cabinet. It is the type that would have been used in a general store or other store to display goods for sale. It could be used as the same. For an antique booth or just to keep and display your collectables. The case is made of an oak frame with glass. The top is two sections have removable glass. Front and sides are non-removable glass, the bottom is wood. There is a middle shelf that currently has like a heavy wood lattice with two separate pieces of glass on top of the wood lattice. The lattice could be removed and just glass used but some minor supporting may have to be inserted or the middle shelf could be completely removed for displaying larger or tall objects. I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1900 Countertop Curved Glass Display Showcase cabinet- measures approx 35-1/2" long. 24" deep, 14" tall. These are outside dimensions. The case is made of wood with what appears to be a nickel plated metal covering over the wood. The back door is hinged- appears to be original as far as I can tell. There is no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. I have seen this same nickel over wood type case before.One was made by the Kansas City Showcase Works and the other by Stein Showcases of Rochester, NY. The case comes from the estate of a 90+ year old Antique Dealer used in her Antique shop. It is in Very Good Condition- the glass is basically excellent with no damages- nice and clear. Overall the case is in what I would call very good shape- looks great as well. It ... moreappears as though the inside wood was refinished many years back- meaning the inner surface and inside back door. The bottom boards have some minor separation. I notice that the back door needs some attention. The right side does not snug up close as the left side does, so it may need some adjusting. Also the latch plunger is just a bit short of catching onto the upper part of the latch that holds it and keeps it shut. I have this shown in my last pic. This is an old piece and there is normal age and use wear and imperfections. Beautiful. Antique, as-is retail display cabinet. We believe that the frame is made out of mahogany. The front is slanted glass and one side is glass. The other side is plywood. We have replaced and stained the back with oak to make two sliding doors. There are adjustable shelf brackets, but not shelves. THE GLASS TOP IS MISSING AS WELL. This has been cleaned up, but there is some minor wear. There is a piece of wood missing in one of the corners. The base measures approx. 22 by 36. The top is approx. 12 1/2 by 36. For sale is this oak country store/general store ribbon display case. The case measures about 25"w x 39"t and 25"d. It opens front or back and does make a nice display. It is missing ribbon holders on one of the doors and has one broken glass. I have enjoyed it very much. But have moved and just can't take everything with. This piece has to go. Antique Spencerian Fountain Pen Nib Store Display Chest Cabinet
Wonderful walnut case with original advertising on it. Nice gold leaf letters. 12 seperate compartments under a hinged glass lid. Hinge locks so lid can remain open. Case is solid walnut with cherry inside and dovetailing throughout. The compartments measure 2.5" square each and are about an inch deep. GREAT 1890's RICHARDSON SILK OAK DISPLAY CABINET SALESMAN STORE SPOOL BOX CASE
Up for bid is an outstanding antique silk spool general store display cabinet made by the Richardson Silk Co. There are a total of six drawers. 5 being for spool rounds and one being for general storage. The unit measures approximately 16 inches wide by 21 inches long by 15 inches tall. Overall the unit is in excellent condition. The cabinet appears to be made out of finished oak. The front, sides and top have general light scratching. The top has slightly more moderate scratching. The finish is also slightly worn on the back top right. All of the drawers are present with the cabinet as well as the hardware for each drawer. The glass fronts on the drawers are very thick and are free of cracks, chips or scratching. The two knobs on the bottom drawer are also present. See pictures for a better idea of condition.
