But originally was mint green flat rectangular biscuit tin for the FAVORITE ASSORTMENT made by the NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY(Nabisco) ... morehinged lid has ornate scroll border in again, totally faded but was gold and dark green with color images of cookies such as OREO, TRITON, SOCIAL TEA, FILIGREE and LORNA DOONE(also an oatmeal cookie, I think) in the upper left and lower right hand corners, across the middle from lower left to upper right is a very faded dark green diagonal text box reading: FAVORITE ASSORTMENT/ NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY; sides were mint green with gold borders, they have NBC graphic icons at either ends which are trisected circles with double crosses above in green with the initials inside; the front side has the product title and also reads NET WEIGHT 2LBS MADE IN THE U.S.A. the other sides just have the icons and product title; the back is like the front without weight and origin information; no information on bottom. This item is at least from the 1930's and is extremely old and has a dent in the front side panel but box does close. This would be great in a kitchen intended to mimic the good ol' days. Dimensions are 13" x 7 1/2" x 2 1/2" making it large and showy, even from on top of a counter ledge. No returns unless I have misrepresented but I want you to be happy so if there is any problem whatsoever please contact me. I am sure I can make it right. ANTIQUE NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY TIN AND GLASS DISPLAY BOX (ALL ORIGINAL)
Great"National Biscuit Company" tin display case purchased at Kutztown. Pennsylvania in the 1980's. It is 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide with an insert of a green background and white lettering stating"NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY" with a small amount of flaking of paint due to age. It is tin and several areas have small dents. Inside of box below lettering is an opening with a thick piece of glass approximately 1/8 inch thick that is loose but has two metal brackets in bottom of tin and a metal latch above glass for placement. There are a few places inside box and on bottom that has some rust but overall is in great condition. It was displayed for several years at a family owned grocery store and never used other than for display. Thank you for looking and ask if questions.

Store Display Shelf for National Biscuit Company 59.5" tall 37" wide at top trim 10.25" deep Distance between shelves a little under 12" top has 3.5 more under trim so you could fit a 15" item on that shelf if you wanted to. When I got this. I was told it was what they displayed NBC products on in the stores. It was in weathered gray condition. I cleaned it up and put a coat of polyurethane on it and the color turned to what it is now. for the die hard collectors.yes i do realize it decreases the value. But i was going for the used but still unique look that it has now) Anyway.it has many visible defects such as scratches chips stains etc. The bottom shelf has a dry paint puddle on it and part would not take color so i painted it with a brown that blends with the rest of the piece. The casters are dirty but it rolls ... morevery easily. On the back is stapled a piece of fabric that can be removed. If you are looking for a restored piece, this is not it. AMAZING ANTIQUE NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY HARDWOOD MARQUIS/ SIGN. THIS PIECE IS LARGE- 46" IN LENGTH AND 5.5" IN HEIGHT. THE LETTING IS HAND PAINTED IN GOLD PAINT. WITH BLACK SHADOW. PIECES LIKE THIS GRACED GENERAL STORES AND 5 AND DIMES AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY[1890-1910] LIKELY PART OF A BUILT IN DISPLAY CABINET THAT HOUSED NABISCO TREATS FOR PATRONS. IT IS SHIP-LAPPED, AND WOULD LOOK GREAT IF PLACED IN A CUSTOME FRAME. THANKS!

71" tall. 47" wide, 17" deep at base, 10.5" deep shelves. Restored and refinished with new castors. No shipping pick up only. Located 20 miles west of Kalamazoo Mi. Just off exit 52 Interstate 94.
