You are viewing an Antique Glass and Wood Display Case. The case has a slant top for viewing of items from that angle. And two heavy glass shelves for a total of three shelves. The slant top also is glass. Sturdy and well built. The size is 36" wide, 35" tall at the top of the angle, 31" high at the low point of the angle, and 14" deep. I have used it to display collectables in my home and also antiques at a shop. Flat black finish with gold highlights.Perfect for your shop or home collections! Antique Dark Oak Counter Display Case
This is a very nice oak counter display case with glass on all three sides with a wood bottom. The wood is in great shape for its age. Dimensions: 36" long by 25" wide by 16.5" tall- lots of room! It has two sliding glass and wooden framed doors with brass inserts for pulls. Doors move back and forth easily. Slick as butter. The top glass was severely scratched so it has been replaced(professionally) with tempered glass. I am selling the case for $650- OBO. Free pick up at a location near Chapel Hill, NC, or I will be happy to ship to you via UPS. Ebay has caluclated that it will cost $29.000 to ship; howver that seens a bit low to me as I will have UPS pack and ship. Antique Slant Front Store Counter Candy Jar Display Canister Bubbles in Glass
Antique large primitive store counter candy jar. It has a slant front and rounded back end. Sides. Top, and bottom have flat stops. It is 11" deep x 7-1/2" tall x 6" wide. It has many inperfections in the glass, ie, bubbles, wavy stops as old glass often has. It is a heavy thick glass. The rubber gasket to the lid is gone, if it ever had one. It is in very good antique condition no cracks, or chips that I could see, but there is some use rubbing and scratches which only add to its character. General Store Display Counter w/Cash Drawer and Bell that Dings! Up for your consideration is this lovely general store display counter. As you can see by the pictures it is a very special piece! We are not certain of its original history but believe it to be from the late 1800's. Comes with 3 drawers and 2 glass shelves for display. The drawers and shelves can switched from one end to the other. The front side is purely for display and the backside has a cubby on the right end that cannot be viewed from the front. Great for supplies. Just above the cubby a cash drawer housed with slots for different bills and change. Just above this drawer is a lid with a slot for receipts or whatever you choose. It can be lifted to gain entry to the receipts as well. Probably the most endearing thing about this counter is the fact that when you open ... morethe cash drawer a silver bell at the back"dings" This beautiful counter would be a great addition to your store or use it in your home to display your collectibles. This piece measures: 71" long 22.5" deep 35' tall Please be sure to look at all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. Note: I have included a pic of the end where a small piece of wood is chipped. Additionally. The back door is missing. It was like this when we purchased it. Incredible antique oak and glass display case with light blue velvet and custom stand. The 2 sliding mirrored glass doors in the back have a really cool distressed patina. the showcase was made by the Houston showcase mfg corp and it is stamped on the underside. the glass has a wavy effect to it. ANTIQUE STORE DISPLAY COUNTER - OAK FRAME - 4' X 8' L SHAPE
Well built old unit- I'm guessing from the 1950's or 60's. The framing is oak and the panels are birch looking plywood veneer- the shelves are pine. The 8 1/2" x 44" glass front panels are missing- other side and top panels are included and are removable- 1/4" thickness. Has track for sliding doors- doors not available. Has a thin coat of black paint. Stands 42" tall- long part of"L" is 8' short part is 4' 20" wide- shelves are 16" wide. The kick plate on the long end is split and needs re-attached. Antique Table Top General Store Counter Display Cabinet Mercantile
This auction is for an antique table-top counter display cabinet/cupboard. This was obtained from the estate of an elderly gentleman whose family owned a mercantile general store back in the early 1900's. This little gem would have held some type of product and been on the counter by the cash register. This cabinet has walnut wood and glass on all four sides and a silver closing latch and brackets on the front. The cabinet has metal dividers inside which leads me to believe that there were shelves at one time. These could be easily be replaced with clear glass. Vintage Antique Oak Display Cabinet Case Mirrored Industrial Retail Counter 1920
You're looking at an antique oak counter display case in excellent vintage condition. Ca. approx 1920s. The oak is clean and free of scratches or chips and the glass is firmly in place(I believe all pieces are original) There is a brass plate at the front detailing the manufacturer and corresponding marking on the rear of one of the two sliding mirrored doors. The doors glide easily and the mirrors are beautifully aged. It was difficult to photograph this aged mirror(pic#8) but it really adds a lot of charm to this item. Currently the inside possesses its original canvas lining(pic#9) but this could easily have felt or leather layered over it to finish it off. Very cool find! From the research I have been able to find on this type of display box. It appears that this is from the early 1900's. Three Star Silk Elastic Hair Net Wood Counter Display Box from Stone Bros. 326-30 W. Adams St. Chicago There are 5 spaces for different color hair nets. Each shelf is labeled as you can see in photo#5(Black, Medium Brown, Blonde, Light Brown& another Shelf for Medium Brown) The shelves slide out of the box and are the same on both sides of the shelf. There are 2 doors that open to reveal the shelves. The outside is the same as the inside. Except the inside has some red coloring to parts. The iron cross, and some floral motif. There is"etching" throughout the box, which almost looks like woodburning- not sure the procedure that was used for the effect. The box measures 6-1/2" wide x approx. ... more6-1/2" deep(it is cut on made on an angle as you can see in the photos) x 8-1/4" tall. The wood reminds me of cigar box material in thickness. This is a really beautiful box that I am sure is very rare and hard to find. I am happy to answer any questions or provide any specific photos you request. The front doors have a slight"bend" when shut as you can see in the last photo. But they open and close smoothly and stay open when open, and stay shut when shut. C.1890 Antique Glass & Tin Counter Table Top General Country Store Display Case
Very nice antique 1890-1900 era tin and glass with a cardboard base display case. The only distractions for this case are two scratches in the glass on the hinged lid. The rest of the glass and the metal are problem free. It has a loose black piece of felt on the inside. The cardboard base has some fading but is structurally sound. The bottom has it's original 4 feet. The hinge for the lid works just as it should. The case measures 3 7/8" tall. 10 7/8" wide and is 4 1/2" deep. I have listed $12.00 for shipping. I am basing this on coast-to-coast shipping. If you are closer to the East Coast shipping should be less. The soda can is to provide scale and is not included. The front is slanted glass and one side is glass. The other side is plywood. We have replaced and stained the back with oak to make two sliding doors. There are adjustable shelf brackets, but not shelves. THE GLASS TOP IS MISSING AS WELL. This has been cleaned up, but there is some minor wear. The base measures approx. 22 by 36. Absolutely one of the most beautiful showcases I’ve seen. And the only one of this type and size I’ve ever seen. It’s not perfect but for its age in my opinion it’s in outstanding condition(see photos) The showcase was made by Specialty Case Co of Kendallville. Ind. I’m guessing sometime in the 1920s. Up for auction is one rare and hard to find vintage HUGHES HAIR BRUSHES DRUG STORE or GENERAL STORE COUNTER DISPLAY. It is in extremely nice condition. It has a curved glass front and top and has two bowed plexi shelves. A mirrored bottom and two mirrored panels inside. The blue lettering on the front(HUGHES BRUSHES) is in excellent condition. I do not know the age of this piece, but I would guess it is pre 1940. It measures approximately 16" wide, 17 1/2" tall and 10" wide. I believe the wood is Pine. There are two tiny little chips in the front, on the top right- barely noticeable. I tried to get pictures the best I could. We used this display case when we were in the antiques business to display smalls. We added a part in the back, so it could be under lock and key. Antique Solid Curved Glass Display Counter with rear sliding doors "1880's
Very old from information that I have gathered it is from the 1880's. In the day. This was a looker. Remarkable shape for it's age. Grandpa's country store is gone and this is for sale. Has been in storage for over 30 years. The top is a solid(one piece) glass that measures 98 1/4" long and 22" wide. The front piece of glass measures the same length as the top however, it is curved. Counter stands 40" tall. Inside is a shelf that measures 12" wide and is made up of 4 pieces on an adjustable shelving bracket. In the front is one piece of curved glass. In the back are four wooden sliding doors that are 2' wide and 19" tall with finger holes. One of these doors is missing a board about 19" in height. Under the sliding doors to the right are two drawers that measure 23 1/4" wide and about 3 5/8" ... moredeep. To the left of the two drawers is a opening that is 63" long, 16" deep and 7 1/2" in height. The glass shows wear scratches, but no breakage in the glass. On the bottom under the curved part to the back corner shows some slight damage but it is mostly to the bottom edging. As far as the wood is concerned I think that it is Mahogany, but I am not positive. It could be cherry. Items inside case do not sell. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Please view all photos. Antique Advertising Store Counter Display Box Carborundum INDIAN Trade Mark Tool
1950's Retro Chair Carborundum Company Store Counter Advertising Display Box Solid condition. Please notice pic# 11 as it shows a chip of wood missing on the top inside edge of the lid. It is not really that noticeable unless inspecting it for imperfections. It has some eye hooks to lock it and some of them are incomplete. It also has scratches all over it. The bottom rubber feet are in bad condition too. The box itself is in overall good condition. Sturdy& solid. I really like the Native American trademark symbol- I think it looks very nice. But what i do know is it is very old and gorgeous! when the sunlight shines on it its breath taking. Although the lid has some ware places from age and use it is still hanging in there. It is all original and a very Rare find. I haven't seen another one like this.very few small! flea bites on the rim of the glass but to be expected on a vintage glass jar as this. Antique store counter, bar, glass display case for jewelry or collectables
PRICED TO SELL* It is a beautiful piece. Very very old. It was in my store for almost 20 years and in a shop in Narraganset for decades before that. The counter is a very heavy. Solid rock maple. It has fabulous design and beautiful wainscoting detail. I have always thought it would make an awesome bar as well! The glass display top sits on top of the counter and is not attached. It can be moved to any part of the counter. The glass in that piece is original. And has some of the wave apperience glass of that age has. The back that jewelry case has been mirrored. Not by me, but must have been done at a later date. The paint is in good condition. A few minor chips. Probably needs a good cleaning it has been in the garage awhile. The far end is unfinished. Old Oak Antique Boye Crochet Needle Store Counter Display & Mounting Bracket
This is an antique store counter display for Boye Crochet Needles. On the back of the display it reads. This cabinet is owned by the undersigned and loaned for display and sale of"Boye" Brand crochet Hooks Only. The Boye Needle Company, Chicago, New York, San Francisco" The small wood cabinet is made of what appears to be oak wood. It has a small dove tailed box with a lid that lifts, in the back of the piece, for the storage of extra hooks. The front panel once had a decal design, but it is mostly worn off. The case has 14 slots for hook display, though 1 slot is missing the separator. The wood part measures 8& 1/4" by 5& 1/2" on the base. Attached to the base is a cast metal mounting pole with top& bottom brackets. This piece measures 12& 1/2" long. Overall height is 19" The piece is in ... moregood condition, though does have some flaws. The wood is worn& faded, dry looking. The sides of the wood piece show splits, which you can see in the photos. The front decal is worn off. The mounting pole is pitted& shows rust. Please note, that the piece doesn't stand on it's own, it is"back heavy" tilts backward. It would have to be mounted for display. Even with it's flaws, it's a cool old display piece!
