Antique Metal Store Display for Womens Gloves RARE
I bought this at an Estate sale and was told it was a turn of the century store display for women's gloves. I'm calling it rare because I've never seen one.It is 27" tall and round base is 8 1/2" across. There are 7 clips shaped like gloves that are 3 1/4" long and one is marked Japan. One is missing and two I had to use newer screws that are too long. I'm sure you could find a better one. It is very heavy about 7 pounds and I think I can disassemble for better shipping. The rack rotates and I think there was probably some kind of signage on top part= maybe you can find a neat top for it. Feel free to ask questions& thanks for looking.

Biele& Sons Company sometime during the mid 1800's. Mr. Biele made cases for the Metropolitan fro more than 35 years and was known to have made cases for museums and private collectors. This is in wonderful condition. The glass is in great shape. The mirrored back doors are in great working condition. The mirror does look vintage however showing age. The wood has a great patina and looks great to the eye, especially with the original hardware. The case measures approximately 80" length. 14" height ... moreand approximately 30" in depth. I purchased this display case along with a similar case(also being sold on separate auction) over 30 + years ago. I have loved and used both of them endlessly. My heart is sad to see them go! Old Curved poured glass with waves. Bubbles, folds within the glass. Decorative ornate stamped silver metal embellishments. This particular case does only have three of the decorative stamped brass corners on front of case. Bottom of display case is glass and has a glass shelf separating the top from bottom. Aubert Auctions Description What appears to be an antique country store container designed to keep bakery contents fresh. There are two breather hole clusters on the back side. It is made of steel with a red porcelain coating the outside and white porcelain on the inside. There are some chips but nothing major that detracts from its overall appeal. The Uneeda National Biscuit Company decals all appear in our opinion are old and have been on the box for a long time judging by the natural surface scuffs and grunge on them which continues on to the porcelain. It may just be an old country store enameled cracker box that a store keep put the company's labels on and would answer why we can't find another one on researching it. No alterations or touch-ups to the porcelain. A couple of the fastener bolts are obvious old replacements one ... moreon a hinge and the other on the clasp. No makers marks apparent. ANTIQUE STORE COUNTER DISPLAY CABINET case OAK WOOD and GLASS- CUSTOM METAL BASE
This beautiful store display cabinet dates from the late 1800s or very early 1900s. And is in excellent shape. The frame is made of oak. And is very sturdy. The glass is original, on all four sides and on the top. The back door opens on hinges. And has a secure metal screw closure(see photos) which is original. There is a decorative molding around the top and the bottom. With elegant dovetail joints. It sits on a contemporary base. Custom made from welded steel, very sturdy. The cabinet is not attached to the base, but sits on it securely. It can be removed from the base to sit on a table or counter, as it probably used to. Here is a wonderful early 1900’s Antique Pie Display Case! It is a Horizontal Display Case! Made of glass with cast metal ends and a stainless steel flap door in the back that runs the length of the case for putting in the pies! It measures 34” long. 9“wide and 5” tall. There are a few little dings and scratches in the metal flap but overall it is in pretty remarkable condition! Especially considering its age and that it is mostly made of Glass! All Original! Milward's Needles Antique Display Case-Metal/Glass/Wood-American Art Works
This glass-front display case from the early 1900's. For Milward's sewing needles, is in very good shape. It was made by the American Art Works company of Cochocton, Ohio(note the very clear plaque on the back! at the time a renowned maker of lithographed advertising items. It measures about 8" across, stands 7.5" high, and is 5.5 wide at the bottom. The hinged glass lid lifts up; underneath are ten compartments to display the needles. The back of the case pulls out to store the inventory of needles inside. Milward's was one of the biggest manufacturer of sewing and knitting needles. The lettering is still legible, though faded: On top, it reads MILWARD'S NEEDLES. On front: MILWARD'S NEEDLES Are The Best. On back: Tell Your Customers MILWARD'S NEEDLES Are The Best. Cool!
