Has a mirror on back inside wall(dont know if mirror original came with case or if added after) Also has brackets on inside sides, a light on inside top and a metal lock bracket on door top corner, which were all added afterwards by last owner. Above that are 2 glass sliding doors that go to the bottom level of the display. And above that are the 3 pull-out display drawers that go to the top level of the display. There are locks on each drawer- I don't have the key. Drawers are unlocked. The glass is cracked on the right side of the top portion of the cabinet(as you can see in the picture) It is taped- but still holds much weight. And. The glass is missing on one of the sides. This is a lighted display, but I don't know if it's working. Some of the red velvet lining is in decent condition, and some is not. There is handwriting on some of the wood in the back of the cabinet(pictured) This cabinet was used in a store for many years by the famous Marilyn, The Hubcap Queen. The handwriting is hers. Very nice thick and heavy old tempered glass countertop display case for pie. Pastry, candies etc. It is in strong, tight good condition with some picking or specking on the chrome and it came clear up with steel wool and I will check. but the chrome is still shiny and looks pretty good. As mentioned above, it measures 37-1/2" in length, 10" front to back and 5" high. This is heavy so will take careful packaging and a large box.

This is a fantastic old store counter top display showcase that is completely clad in copper. This rare showcase is in great used condition with all the copper present and in good condition- see photos. The showcase has a name plate from its maker centered in the bottom molding- JAMES IRONS/ MAKER/ PHILA. PA" The case is large- 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep and 36.5 inches tall- a includes two glass shelves(one is original, slightly thicker with 100 years of scratches; and the second is a newer plate glass replacement) The glass shelves have 5 original support points- one at each corner and at the back center. There are three glass sides and two glass paneled doors with locks and handles- I do not have the key to the old original locks. It has solid wood bottom and top. The top framing has been reinforced with two wood strips. This ... moremakes for a very solid and very useable display case. Note. The showcase is setting on a mover's dolly in the photos. Antique mahogany display table with glass top. This showcase makes a good cabinet for jewelry or other smalls. The large top drawer opens to get access to the contents. Below is two smaller storage drawers. The drawers need to be worked a little or waxed to slide better. The largest drawer would be sturdier with a better drawer bottom. Currently it is a thin piece of wood that over time has shrunk and warped a little. It is a beautiful cabinet- it just needs a cleaning and a little TLC. Measures 59 5/8" long. 24 3/4" deep and 31 1/2" tall. Due to the size and weight of this piece. I have listed it as a local pick up. ANTIQUE GRAND RAPIDS CLOTHING OAK SHOWCASE WITH ORIGINAL WAVY GLASS
This fabulous antique showcase was patented in 1905 by the Grand Rapids Showcase company. It is seriously constructed of oak and has the original wavy glass. The one pictured was part of a series of twelve matching cabinets that were connected side by side next to each other. Hence the sides are open since they are butted up to the side of the one next to it. The one in the first several pictures has the side panels. The rest are as the on in the last four pictures with no sides. Nice vintage oak paneling or glass can be added to the sides if you would like to use one as an individual unit. The glass door of each opens out and slides into the cabinet on the right hand side. Much like a folding door. The back of each cabinet is bead board with the original finish. This is a very nice Antique General Store Glass Display Case Made By Union Show Case Co In Chicago. I would date this to late 1800's to early 1900's. This display measures 27 1/2 wide 26 1/4 front to back and 16 1/2 inches tall. It does have the original finish and trim. Wavey original glass. It really is in remarkable condition. I will be listing this for sale locally and reserve the right to end auction if sold locally. I would like buyer to pick up at my home but it can be shipped at buyers expense. Antique Curved Glass 36" Countertop Country Store Display Case Showcase cabinet
I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1900 Countertop Curved Glass Display Showcase cabinet- measures approx 35-1/2" long. 24" deep, 14" tall. These are outside dimensions. The case is made of wood with what appears to be a nickel plated metal covering over the wood. The back door is hinged- appears to be original as far as I can tell. There is no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. I have seen this same nickel over wood type case before.One was made by the Kansas City Showcase Works and the other by Stein Showcases of Rochester, NY. The case comes from the estate of a 90+ year old Antique Dealer used in her Antique shop. It is in Very Good Condition- the glass is basically excellent with no damages- nice and clear. Overall the case is in what I would call very good shape- looks great as well. It ... moreappears as though the inside wood was refinished many years back- meaning the inner surface and inside back door. The bottom boards have some minor separation. I notice that the back door needs some attention. The right side does not snug up close as the left side does, so it may need some adjusting. Also the latch plunger is just a bit short of catching onto the upper part of the latch that holds it and keeps it shut. I have this shown in my last pic. This is an old piece and there is normal age and use wear and imperfections. Antique Store Showcase/cheese display/ Schwanneck Bro. Manufacturers/wavy glass
You are bidding on a store display case for a large chunk of cheese. The case sits on a 22 inch square base and measures 23.75 inches tall. The crown molding at the top matches the base in a lovely light honey colored maple or poplar. At the top of two sides are ventilation holes to allow the cheese to breathe. Missing on the base is a lazy susan. The base and the top appear to be pine. A unique roll wood back has its original leather straps. A great little iron pull allows the back to move up and down with one finger. The glass is original without cracks or breaks. The wood is also in very good condition considering its age. This six feet counter display case was used in the McReynolds Store in Quality. KY that closed its doors almost 40 years ago. The finish is not perfect. But excellent for its age. The stunning oak case is solid showing no repairs. A small triangular section of oak is missing from the frame of the back of one sliding door as shown in the photo. The showcase sports a brass manufacturing tag. Geo. E. Allison, St. Louis. It is 72 inches long. 28 inches wide, and 17.5 inches tall. The case has a blue oil cloth covering the interior base. The wavy glass is original and without cracks or breaks. The sliding doors with finger pulls have the original mirror showing some age flaws but no cracks or breaks. I am not sure of the age. This showcase comes from Quality. KY where it was used as a display case in the McReynolds mercantile decades ago. I am guessing its age to be pre-1900's. Its design is awesome with nickel plated supports at the corners and joints. It sports an identification tag reading. Nashville Showcase Co. Nashville, Tenn. This vintage display case is seven feet long or 84 inches. 28 inches deep, and 17 inches tall. The glass is all original telling the story of its use. The top left glass is dulled from items being dragged over its surface. The top right glass shows less wear. But has a crack in the corner. Vintage Curio Wood/Glass Display Cabinet wood curio display cabinet that is versatile so you can use it on the tabletop or hang it on the wall. Two shelves on the inside. Door is glass paneled as well as the two side panels, nice inlay decoration on top, as well as nice columns on each side. Beautiful display for smalls. Overall the cabinet measures 19” wide by 25 3/4” high at the highest point x 6” deep. Looks to be very old. Shows like was restored at some point, inside looks good just need some cleaning. 1900's Tobacco Cigar Antique Oak Display Showcase - Local Pickup Only
This is a hard to find. In this original nice looking condition. Please see ALL photos. From research I've done it's early 1900's oak showcase designed to display Tobacco/ Cigar products. Has removable slatted wooden shelves. Still has the pull out clean out or humidor holder that pulls out the back(see photo) made of tin. The top 2 doors have mirrors on the inside, the bottom 2 do not. One of the top doors has been restored. Brass label that reads Sun Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio. The top glass has been replaced but the original beveled edge top glass will be included with sale, but it's has scratches on it. Doors slide smoothly and the finish is in good condition. Would look ... moregreat in a old store setting or can be used to display almost anything anywhere. The slatted wooden shelves could be removed and glass or other wood shelves mounted in their place. Mo. sometime between the late 1800's and very early 1900's(see photo of name plate) It is made of Oak and All of the Glass is original except one side piece of glass which was broke and I had it replaced. Other than the normal wear of an Old Piece such as this. It is in Very Good Condition. The two sliding doors in the back of the showcase work fine.
