This large item measures 35" x 16-1/2" x 12" and is made of heavy sheet tin with its original grain painted surface. Rare Antique Pine Display Case with Glass and Felt Lining — Beautiful Condition!
Very nice antique display case. Wood is solid pine and was refinished with several coats of satin varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Glass is original and is held in place with thin wood stops. Hinges are brass colored metal and knob on front of case is solid brass. The 10 recesses are lined with new felt. Bottom of case is covered with red velvet. Not sure what the case would display— the pictured coin is smaller than the opening(COIN NOT INCLUDED IN PURCHASE) Some suggestions besides coin display case are pocket watches or jewelry. The case measures 11 7/8" long x 5 1/4" deep x 1 1/8" tall. The display recesses are 1 3/4" wide by 1/4" deep. Top frame is assembled using fingerjoints. Bottom is solid piece of wood. You are bidding on a Very Rare Antique 1920's Oak Glass Liberty Bell counter top glass dislpay case. This piece is wonderful featuring original hand blown wavy glass. All the glass looks original except 1 panel which is in question. The liberty bell sign is all hand painted and it is between 2 pieces of glass. The front on the case has 2 pane glass. Has a nice door in the back where you can load items. The top also has a hole where items can be loaded into the case. The height is 23.5" width is 19" at the widest point. General Store Display Counter w/Cash Drawer and Bell that Dings! Up for your consideration is this lovely general store display counter. As you can see by the pictures it is a very special piece! We are not certain of its original history but believe it to be from the late 1800's. Comes with 3 drawers and 2 glass shelves for display. The drawers and shelves can switched from one end to the other. The front side is purely for display and the backside has a cubby on the right end that cannot be viewed from the front. Great for supplies. Just above the cubby a cash drawer housed with slots for different bills and change. Just above this drawer is a lid with a slot for receipts or whatever you choose. It can be lifted to gain entry to the receipts as well. Probably the most endearing thing about this counter is the fact that when you open ... morethe cash drawer a silver bell at the back"dings" This beautiful counter would be a great addition to your store or use it in your home to display your collectibles. This piece measures: 71" long 22.5" deep 35' tall Please be sure to look at all pictures and ask any questions before bidding. Note: I have included a pic of the end where a small piece of wood is chipped. Additionally. The back door is missing. It was like this when we purchased it. RARE Antique Utilitee Super Lisle Web Ribbon Store Display Box Reverse Painted
I bought this display box in 1969 when the old J.C. Penney building in downtown Jefferson City. Missouri was going out of business to move into a newer building. The old building had the wooden floors and the vacuum tubes that sent payments to the upstairs main office to be processed. I have moved this box with me over the years and have only used it for display because it is an amazing piece of memorabilia. Now we are downsizing and I'm going to let this go. The box measures 7 3/4" tall. By 15 1/2" wide, and 6 1/4" deep. The inside contains slots that held spools of elastic and ribbon for display in the store. The lid is reverse painted with the Utilitee Super Lisle Web advertising. Over all the box is in great condition for its age. The left side under the lid, one of the screws has come loose, as shown in the photo. ... moreThat is the only flaw with this case. The glass does need cleaning for displaying. It does have the original hardware and porcelain knob. I think the pictures tell the story. In the 90s I took this to be appraised. The appraiser told me that it was more rare than any Coates and Clark box or spool cabinet that he had ever seen. He was unable to find one like it. And would not appraise it. Thomas Milner founded the firm of Thomas Milner and Son in Liverpool, England, it would become one of the foremost English safe companies of the 19th century. Thomas apprenticed with his father from 1791 where he learned to manufacture iron coffers and strong boxes. Early on in his career he counted among his clients the Duke of Wellington and the English War Office, Milner safes are even known to have been aboard the Titanic. Milner was a pioneer in the development of fire-resistant safes. These fire-resistant safes were developed by adding an inner body and filling the space in between with a compound which would insulate the contents and emit moisture which lowered the flash point ... moreof any paper contents. Thomas Milner took out a patent on his design in 1840. 1791 Thomas Milner was bound as an apprentice to his father in the trade of tinsmith and brazier for eleven years. In those eleven years he was not allowed to marry, take a drink or take a day off without permission. He was provided with meat, drink, washing, lodgings and wearing apparel. His wage was sixteen pence a year. He learned well and began to manufacture iron coffers and strong boxes. c1814 Company established. 1824 He secured orders for coffers and strong boxes from the Duke of Wellington. It has a curved glass front and top and has two bowed plexi shelves. A mirrored bottom and two mirrored panels inside. The blue lettering on the front(HUGHES BRUSHES) is in excellent condition. I do not know the age of this piece, but I would guess it is pre 1940. It measures approximately 16" wide, 17 1/2" tall and 10" wide. I believe the wood is Pine. There are two tiny little chips in the front, on the top right- barely noticeable. I tried to get pictures the best I could. We used this display case when we were in the antiques business to display smalls. We added a part in the back, so it could be under lock and key. Here is a wonderful rare to find Circa 1910 antique double sided and double door cabinet with advertising on two sides. One door is tin faced and reads“We Sell DY-O-LA THE IMPROVED HOME DYE” The other door reads“WE SELL DY-O-LA FOR COLORING AT HOME” Both doors have milk glass pulls. There is a label on the back of one of the doors which lists the colors that the dye came in. On the back of the other door only a partial label remains. One shelf remains in the interior. The cabinet appears to be cherry. The measurements are 12.5 in. wide x 17 in. high and 8 in. front to back. The condition is very good. I bought this at an Estate sale and was told it was a turn of the century store display for women's gloves. I'm calling it rare because I've never seen one.It is 27" tall and round base is 8 1/2" across. There are 7 clips shaped like gloves that are 3 1/4" long and one is marked Japan. One is missing and two I had to use newer screws that are too long. I'm sure you could find a better one. It is very heavy about 7 pounds and I think I can disassemble for better shipping. The rack rotates and I think there was probably some kind of signage on top part= maybe you can find a neat top for it. Feel free to ask questions& thanks for looking.

RARE Antique General Store Oak Candy Display Case w/Penny Candy Tin Trays
This is an opportunity to purchase a rare general store candy display case with the original tin pans for penny candy. This is from a corner grocery store in Michigan City. Indiana. In the 1950's and 1960's, I used to ride my bike to this store to buy penny candy(by then it was 2 cents a piece) and candy bars out of this case. When the owners retired and closed the store in 1976, I purchased the case for sentimental reasons and have used it to display my collection of popcorn boxes. I had always intended to strip the green paint off as it is oak underneath(see photos of the inside of case) But the paint had the wear of a thousand children hands as they went behind the counter. The glass for the front and sides got broken in a move so it would need to be replaced. The doors still have the original wavy glass. The doors need new track ... moreto slide on as the store owner had replaced it with plastic track which is worn. There are three removable wood grained metal shelves, one 12 inches wide, one 10 inches wide and one 8.5 inches wide where they displayed the candy bars, gum, cough drops and other items. There are 5 long tins trays measuring 5.5 inches wide by 19.5 inches long and 4 shorter tin trays measuring 5.5 inches wide by 16 inches long for the penny candy and the tins are in good condition. The whole case measures 58 inches wide by 48 inches high with a depth of 24 inches at the bottom slanting back to 12 inches at the top. The doors are 28 inches wide by 39 inches high(they overlap on two different tracks) I am reluctantly letting this go as we are downsizing and don't have the room for it.

Rare and unique antique wood 2 drawer needle case; top drawer label is: Jas. Smith& Sons. Bottom drawer: NEEDLES. It is about 7x12" and 5" tall. Jas. Smith& Sons is a famous umbrella store in the United Kingdom and at one time had a sewing supply sale room, so it probably used there. The case is covered with spongeware type material that I believe is paper. Condition is very good, has 1 small circle on the top that may have been a label. The label on the drawers show some wear and the bottom wood edge is a bit rough. Looks great for what is an interesting antique.The case does not have the interior dividers that look to have been in the drawers. Let me know if you need more pictures or information.

About 9 1/2 inches from front to back across the bottom, and is about 7 1/2 inches at its highest on the back. Silvery paint imprint of manufacturer's name across the back on the top is in super original condition. Everything on this rare cabinet appears to be original, but not guaranteed. Beautiful RARE Antique Glass Store COUNTER DISPLAY or SALESMAN SAMPLE 14" Ornate
This sweet little thing stands 14" in height. It is 8" across. The depth of the base is 6" And is tapers up to 3" at the very top. There is glass on all sides of this case, except for the bottom which appears to be heavy tin. The original light green satin or tafetta-looking display insert is still on the bottom and can be removed. I am pointing to a flaw on a glass shelf in my last photo. I notice that the top shelf(there are 3) has thicker glass than the other two. The backside has a glass door. And two slender hinges. The latch, whatever it was, is no longer. But the door stays shut anyhow. See 2nd to last photo for latch. Top has ornate silver corners. Highly detailed in a repousse fashion, both on top and front. This is an antique wood and glass countertop or table top display case that would have been at an old general store for Royal Purple Handkerchiefs. The case is in good solid condition with no breaks to the glass. There is a scratch on the glass that you can see in the pictures. The letters are still in good condition with very light parts missing which you can also see in the pictures. The case opens up from the top and the lid is secured by a single thin nail that you pull out to open and put back in to secure shut. Very nice condition for its age. Unbelievably rare Museum quality Marked Poole Brothers Printing Co. Railroad Antique Huge Wood Time Table Display. This display is over a hundred years old. Made in a time of steam engines and small town railway stations. Most items of this size because of the limited ability to be reused were destroyed. This is marked for local pickup but I will do my best to help you ship. The display has been in a fire long ago and has a little fire damage to foot. It was common in the era of steam trains to have fires. May times the entire station burnt down. It has been around smokers and needs cleanup. It has some paint spatters and a missing corner(see pictures) It is in found condition. I am not sure what station this was originally in. I believe it was a MKT railway station in Texas. It is from the late 1800's to early 1900's when Poole Brothers ... moremade this type of item. Some where between the Civil War and early turn of the century. I have seen similar displays in some of the old post cards picturing railway stations. It is huge and measures 80" tall x 52" wide x 26" deep. Lovely Rare Antique J P Coats 3 Drawer Spool Thread Cabinet
This is a lovely 3 drawer metal spool thread cabinet with advertising on the top. Both sides, and back of the cabinet(J P Coats Boilfast Mercerized Sewing for Hand and Machine) It is tan/light brown metal. The top two drawers have glass fronts and the bottom drawer has a metal front. All drawers have what appear to be original handles. Each drawer holds 12 spools across and 15 rows(180 spools of thread per drawer) This is great for storing all of your thread in one place while having a conversation piece as well. All drawer brackets are in place and drawers slide in and out smoothly to add or remove thread. The cabinet is 18 3/4" wide, 17 1/4" deep, and 6 1/2" tall and weighs 18 pounds. Rare Antique Oak Triangular Store Display Cabinet Circa 1890 w/ Original Finish
This Store Display cabinet has a rare Triangular shape. Overall it is 41” high. 19” deep, and 27”wide. The triangle is 27” by 23” by 23” It would be considered an Isosceles Triangle where two sides and two angles are equal. The two even sides are glass for display and the back has an interior cabinet for storage. This interior cabinet swings open as a unit to allow access to the display area. The display area is a wood base covered with a black felt that can be changed depending on the items to be displayed. When closed the area between the glass and the felt measures 1 3/8” and the glass size is 33 ½” by 16” The glass and felt are later replacements. The lock and key work but can stick in the closed position; a hook was provided to hold the door shut. Overall condition is good and sturdy. The original finish has a nice patina with small ... moremarks and stains. The top has a slightly open stable glue joint close to the back and a slight warp is visible at the front edge. The door and storage open smoothly but swinging the display unit fully open requires a block to support its weight. Display knives not included. Originally it was screwed to a counter in the store(two screw holes are visible on its base trim) It would be great for displaying your collection. RARE Antique Oval Brass MOP Vanity Tray Mirror Gilt Jewelry Display-Footed Lions
Let me say this first. The top is not a mother of pearl stone, the process was to make it look like mother of pearl, it was done with a thin foil. When this was new and you looked down on it, it would resemble that of a huge mother of pearl stone. Before and after the turn of the century, even up thru the 60's mother of pearl was so popular, anything that looked like it would sell. Not much different than the trends that you see today. The reason you never see these, they didn't survive. it was a terrible idea and not done really right for it to survive. Had they put real glass over it, you might see more of them but if these are stored where it's damp like a basement or hot like an attic, you won't find them in this condition. Most of the time the tops are completely removed and replaced with a mirror. There's no way ... moreto repair one of these and really no way to imitate them. A thin clear coat was poured on the tops then buffed to create a sheen look, not shiny but a little dull to help the look of the mother of pearl. As you can see, this one has had some things spilled on it, the stains may come out and they may not. The last thing you want to do on the top of these is get them wet. If water or cleaner gets under the plastic film, you will never get it out. The next mistake some people make is to take a syringe and try to put glue under the film to improve it's looks. Just about any glue you might use will disintegrate the thin foil under the film. The top, remarkable, is not coming off. Yes it's cracked and as you can see in the pic where I lifted it very slightly for you to see what I mean, it goes right back down and lays flat. Best thing to do, enjoy it just like you see it, don't try to improve it, because it's probably going to be the only one you ever se and it will most likely be in the best condition you could hope to find one of these. They were quiet expensive and it's another reason you don't see many of them. This top will still out last you if you don'
