Antique Wooden Display Curio China Cabinet Vitrine Miniature Bowed Glass 23" Ht
A beautifully shaped antique wooden display cabinet in solid condition measuring 23" tall. 13" wide and 6.5" deep. The wood looks like it might be pecan. The door has three panels of bowed glass and one movable shelf with two settings. The only thing wrong with it that I can see is that the door doesn't close completely flush on the bottom. Here is a nice old wood table top or wall hanging small curio cabinet display shelf. Stands 17" tall to the top of finials on top. 14" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. Three open shelfs on each end, and three shelfs in the middle with a glass door. Four wood feet are the same design as the finials on top of cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I would say the finish is a darker oak. Shelfs and frame is a good sturdy wood, the backing is a thinner type. Highland Park, Mich- C.L. Vanerstrom Architect- 167 Davison Ave-W-H.P. Wood Case is in two parts that come apart to gain access to the house plans inside which are visible through the glass- one part is the removable cover. Wood framed with glass panel that covers the house plans and the other part is the backing which fits ... moreinto the cover When the cover is removed. The inside backing is 2 pieces, hinged together and covered with off-white flannel(stained) that faces the inside, and just plain wood on the outside When case is assembled. There are two sticks on the back that rotate and fit under cleats attached to the cover that hold the whole thing together(one cleat is missing) It appears to be a case to bring to the jobsite. This is the front section of a display case for combs made by the Ace Comb company. It would have been placed on top of the counter in a general store. It is made of maple wood with a nice patina. Antique Spool Cabinet CASH'S WOVEN DOUBLE LETTER English Oak Display Case
Up for auction is an antique spool cabinet display case made of English Oak with miscellaneous woven double embroidered lettering boxes inside. The front of this case reads CASH'S WOVEN DOUBLE LETTERS and measures 18" tall. 17 1/2" long, 5" deep and weighs 15 lbs. I believe this was used at Cash's Of Ireland Department Store. The case itself shows definate wear due to age. The front lower right side of the glass is cracked and the case has a few chips as can be seen in the pictures. The back of this case has an original picture of two woman and a child. The back has a top latch that opens to dispense the boxes that enclose the embroidered letters. The front of each yellow colored box reads Cash's Hemstitch Frillings for trimming Ladies& Children's Underclothing, also for Pillow Case's, Sheets.etc. Each ... moreone of these boxes measures 3" long and 1" wide. I have for bid an Antique Victorian Brass& Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Jewelry Display Casket. It measures 9 1/2" side to side. 6 1/2" front to back and 4 7/8" tall. It has beautiful Ornate Floral Brass Filigree with Large Tulip Flowers on each end. There are 5 Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Panels, the pictures make the tint look dark Amber because of the flash, they are actually a lighter Amber Color in person. It has a tan cushion bottom that is in pretty nice condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the brass is in excellent condition, hinged lid is working fine. It has four ornate legs, it does have a nice aged patina which I think adds character to the piece. Late 1800's or very early 1900's. U.S. buyers to pay $10.00 S/H, it weighs approx. 2 1/2 pounds. Great"National Biscuit Company" tin display case purchased at Kutztown. Pennsylvania in the 1980's. It is 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide with an insert of a green background and white lettering stating"NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY" with a small amount of flaking of paint due to age. It is tin and several areas have small dents. Inside of box below lettering is an opening with a thick piece of glass approximately 1/8 inch thick that is loose but has two metal brackets in bottom of tin and a metal latch above glass for placement. There are a few places inside box and on bottom that has some rust but overall is in great condition. It was displayed for several years at a family owned grocery store and never used other than for display. Thank you for looking and ask if questions.

I cannot ship outside the U.S. I am listing several of these very old jewelry displays that I've collected over the years. I can just imagine the excitement walking up to a jewelry store window and seeing a beautiful necklace or pin displayed on these beautiful stands. I can combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction. These are from the early part of the 20th century. Some of them are missing their velvet insert but it wouldn't be too difficult to wrap and glue a small piece of velvet around a piece of cardboard and set it inside the ones that are missing theirs. The velvet inserts by the way that ARE included. Are stiff from age, but you could still pin a lovely brooch or earrings to the fabric. The color of the original velvet is a dark burgundy. Two vintage glass & brass trinket display boxes, square etched & 5-sided, Mexico
These two gorgeous brass and glass trinket display boxes were purchased in Mexico in 1978. The square one measures 2 1/2 inches across and about 2 1/4" tall. With four ball feet. The pentagonal one has five sides and five ball feet, as well as a ball on the lid, and measures 3" across by 3 1/4" tall. The square one has beautiful etched flowers which are difficult to capture in a photo. The pentagonal one has 11 pieces of glass- lid, sides, and bottom.The brass is shiny and beautiful. There are no scratches or damage to the glass. These would be a gorgeous display by themselves. Or holding some little treasure.

This is a great old Oak Spool Cabinet Countertop desk with a leather top. It is 28 X 20.25 inches X 12 inches tall. The wood is in beautiful condition. The metal inkwell is intact but there is no insert. Words on the drawers were removed but the outlines are still visible. It looks like the original knobs were replaced with old porcelain ones. Very nice old desk. This is a very nice oak counter display case with glass on all three sides with a wood bottom. The wood is in great shape for its age. Dimensions: 36" long by 25" wide by 16.5" tall- lots of room! It has two sliding glass and wooden framed doors with brass inserts for pulls. Doors move back and forth easily. Slick as butter. The top glass was severely scratched so it has been replaced(professionally) with tempered glass. I am selling the case for $650- OBO. Side, and rear glass has the slight wavy look consistent with antique glass. The glass on top is quarter inch. Beveled glass. The two original shelves are each one solid board all the way across and contain a raised lip around the border. ... moreThey each sit on four original brackets spaced 29-30 inches apart and are capable of holding significant weight. As this display case is an antique over 100 years old. It has some minor issues, albeit only cosmetic ones that don't affect functionality or durability. As stated. One side glass panel is not original to the piece. Also. There must have originally been a third door on the back of the case; now there are two with the same width of space for access. Both doors move very easily back and forth. The glass on one back door has a small crack in it near the indented finger slot. But remains intact. One top beveled glass panel has a chip on one back corner and the other back corner of the same piece of glass was reconstructed. The other top beveled glass has two cup rings and a small area in the back section of cloudiness that appears to have been caused by a spill. It was really difficult to capture the cloudiness in an image. But if you look to the left, you can see it. Unfortunately. You can see reflections in the glass better than you can see the cloudiness. Measures; 42" sq with all four leaves down. 66" sq with all four leaves up. Each of the 3 removable shelves are 11" deep and 40" long and about 3/4" thick. Stands about 29" tall to the top of the table and 47" tall with the top flipped up. The base lifts up and down with the aid of a metal bar that slips in to the frame. I believe it is oak. Very nice antique display case. Wood is solid pine and was refinished with several coats of satin varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Glass is original and is held in place with thin wood stops. Hinges are brass colored metal and knob on front of case is solid brass. The 10 recesses are lined with new felt. Bottom of case is covered with red velvet. Not sure what the case would display— the pictured coin is smaller than the opening(COIN NOT INCLUDED IN PURCHASE) Some suggestions besides coin display case are pocket watches or jewelry. Wendt-Bristol Pharmacy Humidor Display Cases Set, Wood, Brass Trim
These are 100 year old showcases made by Schwartz ShoWell here in Columbus. OH. They were originally installed in the Wendt Bristol Pharmacy at Buttles and N. High St. and were removed and sold when the pharmacy downsized. We have used them since, but our new location doesn't have a good place for them. These two cases are unique. They were designed as humidors for tobacco. The low case is a humidor, with a slatted bottom in the case and storage below. The tall case was designed as a companion piece and has storage behind the small doors, which also have slats to mimic those in the low case. The low case does not have any wiring. The tall case was converted to halogen puck lights, but they probably need to be replaced. The tall case comes with sliding glass doors for the upper portion.
