Illinois. This catalog is a booklet format of 24 pages plus the covers measuring about 8.75" x 4" I don't find a date on this catalog but it prints a few testimonial letters all dated 1923 so thus a 1924 date seems likely. The front cover reads: To Help You Sell More Hard Candy- ARIDOR Products This catalog has several photographic illustrations and provides detailed information on Aridor Candy Jars. These Aridor Jars were used in Candy Stores. Dime Stores and other retail establishments to organize and display candy for retail sales. Old Retail Store Counter Top REXALL PENS Oak & Glass Display Case
This old oak case was probably used in a Rexall drug store in the early 1900’s. Holding nibs for ink dip and/or fountain pens. It will make a beautiful display case for small collectibles. The case measures at the base 14 1/2” long by 12 1/2” wide. And 2” high. The lid hinges at the right-hand end, with a hook closure at the opposite end. There are twelve 3” x 2 ¼” compartments, and one 12 ½” x 2 ¾” compartment at the back. The smaller compartments are labeled for REXALL Pen nibs of different styles and sizes. A few of the paper labels are missing or damaged. The oak is in good condition, and the finish is also in good condition, showing some minor wear consistent with age and normal use. Antique Retail Store Display Case Cabinet Slant Front
Beautiful. Antique, as-is retail display cabinet. We believe that the frame is made out of mahogany. The front is slanted glass and one side is glass. The other side is plywood. We have replaced and stained the back with oak to make two sliding doors. There are adjustable shelf brackets, but not shelves. THE GLASS TOP IS MISSING AS WELL. This has been cleaned up, but there is some minor wear. There is a piece of wood missing in one of the corners. The base measures approx. 22 by 36. The top is approx. 12 1/2 by 36. The height is approx. 44 inches tall. The style seems to be from the 1940's. It is a nice piece! This is for pick up in Aurora. IL.
