Antique spool thread advertising display solid oak/mirror MERRICKS SPOOL COTTON
This is an antique spool thread advertising display with a mirror. Across top of frame: MERRICK'S SPOOL COTTON; and remnants of an eagle in the center. It measures 35 1/2" long x 25" high x 4 1/2" deep. The mirror is 29 1/2" x 6 1/2" and has some scratches and some black spots. It is backed by wood. I don't know how this piece originally worked. I think it hung as an independent piece. But maybe was part of something larger or a base piece that this hung over. There are slots on the inside of the frame work(see photo) maybe had sliding wires with spools on them, one wooden rod was there when I got it from my family's estate, and I added one so I could use it as a towel holder. Here is a giant antique general store Ice Box. If your recreating an old fashion general store. This is a must because you will probably never find another one like it. Im told that this dates back to the 1870's or 1880's. This case needs to be restored. It is extremely heavy. The top half lifts off the bottom. Measures 7' 7-1/2" long X 27 deep(not inclusing the handles) at the bottom, 32-1/2 deep at the top X 8' 2" tall. The left side of the upper crown molding has a piece missing as shown. Some of the doors open hard. The right door is missing the outer pane of glass, but the inner one is still there. Its only 1/8" window glass so its cheap to replace. There are some adjustable shelves inside. This case needs to be stripped& repainted or stained. The sides have strips of wood running vertically, some of which need to be replaced. 1 lower door handle is bent& needs to be repaired. The price tag sign boards are still across the top which adds alot of character to this cabinet. Needs a complete restoration. Sold

Fels Naptha soap was a part of the 20 Mules Team product line in the 1890s. The William Tell Coleman company made cleaning products from borax which was hauled by mules. Here is a wonderful rare to find Circa 1910 antique double sided and double door cabinet with advertising on two sides. One door is tin faced and reads“We Sell DY-O-LA THE IMPROVED HOME DYE” The other door reads“WE SELL DY-O-LA FOR COLORING AT HOME” Both doors have milk glass pulls. There is a label on the back of one of the doors which lists the colors that the dye came in. On the back of the other door only a partial label remains. One shelf remains in the interior. 1950's Retro Chair Carborundum Company Store Counter Advertising Display Box Solid condition. Please notice pic# 11 as it shows a chip of wood missing on the top inside edge of the lid. It is not really that noticeable unless inspecting it for imperfections. It has some eye hooks to lock it and some of them are incomplete. It also has scratches all over it. The bottom rubber feet are in bad condition too. The box itself is in overall good condition. Sturdy& solid. I really like the Native American trademark symbol- I think it looks very nice. ANTIQUE LARGE OAK CENTURY BISCUIT CO DISPLAY BOX, DISPLAY CASE, ADVERTISING
Up for your consideration is a beautiful antique oak and glass Century Biscuit Co. display box. It features a solid oak frame. Back and top with the original oil glass on 2 sides(the right side glass panel had to be replaced. I attempted to have antique oil glass cut for it but it shattered during the cutting) and plain glass on the right side. The back is a solid panel of oak with a small door that drops down at the bottom. The original door closure is still intact but looks like it broke a very long time ago and a small piece of wood was installed to keep it closed. The top lid is oak with a slightly decorative trim around the edge. It can be lifted off. The top is made up of 2 boards and there is a slight gap between the boards. There is an old shelf inside but not sure how it attaches. The display case measures 24" wide x 32.5" ... morehigh x 24" deep. At the bottom is the original stencil: Century Biscuit Co. Indianapolis, IND. The oak has a beautiful patina that only comes from age and years of use. It has small nicks. Scratches and scrapes. This would make a very unusual and wonderful display case for anything. Due to the age. Size and glass on this piece I am only offering it as a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I will not ship this item. Up for bids is this Antique c.1900 Corbin Lock Company Oak Advertising Lock Display Case w/ Decals. This piece was made some time during the very early 20thC. The front of the cabinet displays locks that would be held on one of the original shelves which are revealed when the back is opened. I believe the locks would be rotated out when new models came in. 3 of the original locks are still present and one even has a key. The entire cabinet is made of oak. Each side of the case is branded with the original decal that reads CORBIN inside of a key. This piece stands 19" in height. 15 7/8" in width, and is 11 1/2" in depth. This piece is in great condition with no breaks or repairs and still looks to retain it's original finish. This is the'4 over 2' model which has four long drawers over two smaller drawers. Piece is original with lettering. Sides, pulls, and finish. It does not have the American Eagle Stamps on the sides and is missing one of the drawer description. Interior drawers are in good condition and also clean. Note the 45 degree corners.
