I can just imagine the excitement walking up to a jewelry store window and seeing a beautiful necklace or pin displayed on these beautiful stands. I can combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction. These are from the early part of the 20th century. Some of them are missing their velvet insert but it wouldn't be too difficult to wrap and glue a small piece of velvet around a piece of cardboard and set it inside the ones that are missing theirs. The velvet inserts by the way that ARE included. Are stiff from age, but you could still pin a lovely brooch or earrings to the fabric. The color of the original velvet is a dark burgundy. Vintage Table Top Curio Cabinet Measures approx. 19 3/4" Tall x 10 1/4" Square(across the top) Absolutely lovely old wood and glass table-top curio cabinet/display case. All original! When I purchased it I spent literally hours cleaning it as it appeared to have been deep in storage somewhere for years! The glue had started to run around the glass and re-hardened and the wood. Although gorgeous, was in desperate need of a good treatment. Each of the 4 sides is bowed/curved and has a panel of curved glass, There are pegs for two shelves, however, one of the glass shelves has been missing since I purchased and I used it to display vintage perfumes to I really didn't need it and never replaced it. It has a couple blemishes on the top and one at the top of one of the sides which only gives it its true vintage character! The light pink paint on the sides is a mystery, but has been there a very long time. The inside retains its original galvanized liner, which is still perfect and clean. Antique SEALPACKERCHIEF Mens Handkerchief Oak Wood Glass Countertop Display Case For your consideration we have one of the best examples of an antique SEALPACKERCHIEF display case with original labels ever available. The Sealpackerchief Company was founded in 1908 and offered clothiers and haberdasheries the use of the display case as long as it was used solely to display and sell their sealed packages of handkerchiefs. The front cream. Red and gold decal shows the New York(N.Y. Trademark and shows, Patented July 27, 1909, March 10 1914 and Dec 17, 1918. The inside red and gold decal reads, This case is loaned with the understanding that it be used only for the display of Sealpackerchief" as well as"The International Handkerchief Manufacturing Company of New York" as well as, Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. The two sides. Door ... moreand bottom are solid 5/8" oak, the top and front are glass have no sharp edges. The back is also made of solid oak held in place by three small brass hinges that have heavy patina on them. The bottom of the back door has a half ball shape of brass that sits in a brass holder in the bottom to keep the back door secure if the door would be closed all the way. The top of the sides each have a hole approximately 1-1/2" from the back where the display had a dowle rod display to hold their sample handkerchiefs. This piece is hardly ever found intact with these cases anymore since they are so fragile. If you care to reproduce one. Description This is a Beautiful Old Antique/Vintage bowfront glass curio/display cabinet with two removable wood shelves. Acquired from an elderly estate in excellent pre-owned condition with only normal signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age. The cabinet measures app 22.5" H x 13" W x 6.5" D This cabinet has a flat back with bowfront& curved glass on the sides and front. The door opens at the front and has two metal buttons that recess in the door when shut to hold it secure(see pics) The door shows some minor rub marks from the metal button at the top of the door(see pic) The shelves sit nice and firmly on a wood trim edge on the back of the inside and rest on small wooden pegs at the front(see pics) There is also a metal hanger on the back for displaying/hanging on the wall. Your looking at a very rare antique general store counter display. It's a cabinet drawer for Tico Forms. Tico made large letter stamps. Has great logos and design that is on the drawer and rear of cabinet. Great joints on cabinet. The separators in the drawer are also wood. 24" x 20 1/2" x 6 1/2" There is a crack across the top and part of the bottom. Cabinet is still sturdy and strong. Could easily be repaired. Antique Arts& Crafts Era Wood Wall Mount Store Display Cabinet Thread Display I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! This one is very very cool. It's a farm auction find that no one could identify for me. But the general consensus(and I agree) is that it was more than likely a store thread spool display piece. Made of solid wood, it has a tiger oak decorative veneer that shows some wear and egdge shipping. If you like rustic, the cabinet is for you- if you are looking for a project, it would be a beauty to restore also. The cabinet measures 25 1/2" wide at the top, 22" ... morewide at the body, has 6 shelves that are 18 1/2" by 2 1/2" deep, stands 23 1.2" tall, 5 1/2" deep at the top and 3 1/2" deep at the body. It weighs 14 3/4 lbs. The shelves are rounded to hold rounded items(like spools) and you can see that there's 7, a little over) 2" wide spaces on each shelf- you can see the wood is a little lighter between each one- they are not physically separated, the shelf is rounded and smooth all the way across. There are numbers, 1-6 stenciled in what looks like gold with a black rim, starting 1 at the back of the bottom shelf and going up to 6 at the back of the top shelf- I have no idea what they represented, and there's no other markings or identification on the piece. The cabinet is unfinised at the top- making it appear as if it attached to something from above, or possibly was built in? The bottom is finished, but you can also see the heads of the hardware attaching the sides, so I do believe it was not meant for display- the cabinet does stand well on its own as the bottom is flat. Antique Wood & Glass Sterilizer Display Case Cabinet Barber Medical Dental Store
Antique 1920's wood and glass sterilizer display case with original tin adjustable shelves. My guess is that this was repainted probably back in the 1950's. The finish is a dry off-white. There is a chip on the front edge of the base that was never repaired when it was repainted. A lot of people replace the tin shelves with glass. You could just use the tin shelves as a template. The shelves can adjust to several different heights. This case has nice beveled edges with glass on three sides for good display. There are very nice wide door hinges. This very solid display case weighs in at 10 lbs. It measures 12 1/4" tall 14" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The actual interior display height is 10 7/8" high. 11 1/4" wide and 7" deep. Up for auction is an antique oak display case. Has a wavy glass lid that does not seem to match the bottom. The wood looks darker on the lid than the base. And it does not match up evenly(see last two photos) Most likely the old lid broke and this one was an old replacement. The base measures 12.5" by 15.5" The lid measures 10.75" by 14" The case is 3" deep. There are some blemishes to the wood along the edges, this includes some scratches and chips, nothing major.
