Antique Brass Ornate Victorian Tinted Beveled Glass Jewelry Display Casket~NICE
I have for bid an Antique Victorian Brass& Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Jewelry Display Casket. It measures 9 1/2" side to side. 6 1/2" front to back and 4 7/8" tall. It has beautiful Ornate Floral Brass Filigree with Large Tulip Flowers on each end. There are 5 Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Panels, the pictures make the tint look dark Amber because of the flash, they are actually a lighter Amber Color in person. It has a tan cushion bottom that is in pretty nice condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the brass is in excellent condition, hinged lid is working fine. It has four ornate legs, it does have a nice aged patina which I think adds character to the piece. Late 1800's or very early 1900's. U.S. buyers to pay $10.00 S/H, it weighs approx. 2 1/2 pounds. You just don't see display cabinets like this. Let me just say that this is quite the dispaly cabinet. When you view it in person. Very unusual and it truly features it's contents wonderfully. Warm mahogany framed cabinet sits on elegant queen anne legs. Beautiful old original beveled glass on three sides as well as the top. Letting light enter it from all angles. Two doors on either side leaves the front view completely unobstructed! It has two interior glass shelves that can be adjusted or taken out completely. The interior back is painted black. It measures approximately 15.3 inches high and 6 inches at the widest point which is the base. It is very sturdy and sound. I believe this piece to be from the late 1800's. Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Victorian Wood Drug Store Display Case Or Medicine Chest. This is a Detailed wood display case with lovely engravings throughout. The display does lock however I do not have the key. This case weighs 24.2 pounds and measures 33 and 1/2" tall by 11 and 3/4" deep by 18 and 1/2" wide. I am unsure of the exact type of wood that this item is made from. This case came from the estate of a Linden, New Jersey Doctor/Police Officer. The front glass has a break in it towards the top. I have shown a photograph of this. Also the top mantle section is loose and needs to be tightened with a longer screw. There is some minor wear present however there are no further breaks or repairs present. This is an incredible counter display case. There is NO SHIPPING ALLOWED ON THIS ITEM. Antique Spool Cabinet Solid Wood Victorian Style Eastlake Trim Porcelain Pulls
This a massive old Spool Cabinet dating to the late 1890's early 1900's. It is 30 1/4 inches wide and 24 inches high. It is almost 19 inches deep overall. Each drawer interior is 24 inches wide and 15 1/2 inches deep. It has a stained finish and it looks original to the piece. A small portion has chipped off on each side. Small but noticeable and mentioned for accuracy sake. The decorative molded trim is ornate and well made. It was obviously an expensive cabinet originally. There are small spooned carved trim piece on each corner and they remind of the Victorian era. Perhaps influenced by the Eastlake style of furniture and spoon carvings. The aprons are scroll cut all the way around and the piece is finished cabinetry style on all four sides. The drawer pulls are all white porcelain and brass and original and in excellent condition. ... moreThe interior of some of the drawers were made to have removable slats to separate product. These slats are long gone, but would be easy enough to replace. One medallion is a woman with a pitcher and the other is a man who looks like an organ grinder with a dog sitting up. This very unique tin cake box is from the late 19th or very early 20th century. Perfect piece of history for your kitchen. Off white with charcoal lithographs. It is finished on the front hinged and latched door with a lithograph of Wilhelm von Kaulbach’s painting of“Goethe’s Lotte” and on the sides and top with“Goethe’s Lili” also by Kaulbach.
