A beautifully shaped antique wooden display cabinet in solid condition measuring 23" tall. 13" wide and 6.5" deep. The wood looks like it might be pecan. The door has three panels of bowed glass and one movable shelf with two settings. The only thing wrong with it that I can see is that the door doesn't close completely flush on the bottom. The frame must be slightly warped, but it hardly shows(see pic) The d oll and china set are not included. Please look at the pictures carefully. Sometimes I miss things. Vintage Wood Stand Hang Curio Cabinet Display Shelf Table Top or Wall
Here is a nice old wood table top or wall hanging small curio cabinet display shelf. Stands 17" tall to the top of finials on top. 14" wide, and 4 1/2" deep. Three open shelfs on each end, and three shelfs in the middle with a glass door. Four wood feet are the same design as the finials on top of cabinet. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I would say the finish is a darker oak. Shelfs and frame is a good sturdy wood, the backing is a thinner type. Overall nice condition, there are very few scratches, a good cleaning and a little Old English it will be beautiful. Please view all photos. If you have any questions, or if you know more about this item, please feel free to email me through the"ask a seller a question" link Size is: 23 3/4 inches by 18 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches thick(including cleats on back) House plans are dated 3-6-1923 Written on corner of house plans on first floor plans: Residence for G.L.Vanerstrom. Highland Park, Mich- C.L. Vanerstrom Architect- 167 Davison Ave-W-H.P. Wood Case is in two parts that come apart to gain access to the house plans inside which are visible through the glass- one part is the removable cover. Wood framed with glass panel that covers the house plans and the other part is the backing which fits ... moreinto the cover When the cover is removed. The inside backing is 2 pieces, hinged together and covered with off-white flannel(stained) that faces the inside, and just plain wood on the outside When case is assembled. There are two sticks on the back that rotate and fit under cleats attached to the cover that hold the whole thing together(one cleat is missing) It appears to be a case to bring to the jobsite. Or to be kept at the jobsite to hold the architectural drawings The house plans are for a rather modest home. 32 feet by 24 feet) so maybe it was a project rather than actual real house plans? House plans include 5 pages total: First Floor Plan Rear/Front Elevation(one page) Basement Floor Plan(with coal bin and fruit room) Side Elevation Lot Plan Condition notes: Wood case is intact. Antique Spool Cabinet CASH'S WOVEN DOUBLE LETTER English Oak Display Case
Up for auction is an antique spool cabinet display case made of English Oak with miscellaneous woven double embroidered lettering boxes inside. The front of this case reads CASH'S WOVEN DOUBLE LETTERS and measures 18" tall. 17 1/2" long, 5" deep and weighs 15 lbs. I believe this was used at Cash's Of Ireland Department Store. The case itself shows definate wear due to age. The front lower right side of the glass is cracked and the case has a few chips as can be seen in the pictures. The back of this case has an original picture of two woman and a child. The back has a top latch that opens to dispense the boxes that enclose the embroidered letters. This is an amazing and rare Dr. Daniels' Veterinary Medicine cabinet that dates from the 1900s. It was used in a general store to display the Dr. Daniels' line of products in an eye-catching manner. This is a great old Oak Spool Cabinet Countertop desk with a leather top. It is 28 X 20.25 inches X 12 inches tall. The wood is in beautiful condition. The metal inkwell is intact but there is no insert. Words on the drawers were removed but the outlines are still visible. It looks like the original knobs were replaced with old porcelain ones. Very nice old desk. Small Brass Glass 4 Sided Mirrored Curio Cabinet 7 Display Shelves.
Table top size brass. Mirrored and glass curio cabinet. This cabinet has seven varied sizes of shelves. The door opens and closes freely, the only issue is the brass is loose on the handle side, may need some glue. The slide lock works easily and fits snugly into the opening. There are no chips or cracks in the glass and mirror. Cabinet sits squarely on counter. This is a four sided cabinet: standing 9 3/4 tall, 5 3/4 wide, and 2 1/4 deep. Rare Corticelli 14 Drawer Store Display Spool Cabinet
The king of the spool cabinets not for the faint of heart. I restore antique furniture and have a backlog the hard work on this is done the layers of old paint have been removed except the small sections of drawer fronts which are just shellac all it needs to be finished is a little sanding some minor spot striping and a new finish. It stands 37 1/2" tall 20 1/2" wide and 18 1/2" deep. It has 9 spool drawers that hold 156 spools of thread or 1365 total and five larger open drawers for storage. The plate glass fronts are all present one was broken but I have a replacement cut and ready to install all the original hardware is present except one spool drawer pull which if copied from other present nothing major. Made of oak the top section has some dowel holes where a 1/2" oak wide advertising board went. Vintage Antique Oak Display Cabinet Case Mirrored Industrial Retail Counter 1920
You're looking at an antique oak counter display case in excellent vintage condition. Ca. approx 1920s. The oak is clean and free of scratches or chips and the glass is firmly in place(I believe all pieces are original) There is a brass plate at the front detailing the manufacturer and corresponding marking on the rear of one of the two sliding mirrored doors. The doors glide easily and the mirrors are beautifully aged. It was difficult to photograph this aged mirror(pic#8) but it really adds a lot of charm to this item. Currently the inside possesses its original canvas lining(pic#9) but this could easily have felt or leather layered over it to finish it off. Old store display cabinet or showcase. I was told this showcase was originally from the Gables Dept. store in Altoona. PA. That store opened in 1884 and closed in 1980. Total length of cabinets total 23 feet. One top section has three doors and sits on two base pieces. The other top section has two doors and sits on one base piece. All doors are sliding doors and have beveled glass. There are 39 dovetailed drawers with fancy brass hardware. There are also adjustable shelves in the base with doors. handsome bowed glass tabletop display case collectibles curio cabinet wood nice This is a handsome tabletop display case. It has three shelves and bowed glass windows. The shelves are removable but not adjustable. The case is in good shape for it's age showing a bit of scuffing and wear but no major scratched or anything. The door function well and closes and opens as it should. It does appear that on of the side pieces of glass has been replaced or re-glued at some point as it is sealed differently then the other and a bit more messy. Though hardly noticeable except upon close inspection. This repair was not done by me. The whole shelf is sturdy and solid and doesn't wobble or show any sign of distress on the legs or anything. Antique English Store Display Drawers Cabinet Liberty Bodice Decals Shell Pulls
This small antique chest of drawers is actually a store display cabinet that contained liberty bodices for girls and women of all ages. Brits of a certain age may remember these. As-according to Wikipedia-they were still being worn into the 1970s, although they were introduced at the end of the 19th century. When I purchased it. It had last been owned by a Dutch doll collector, who used it to store doll clothing and trimmings, and some of the drawers still have their stick-on paper labels written in Dutch. They're easily removable but I chose to leave on the ones that didn't fall off when I gave this a light cleaning. This would be a perfect doll bureau for your antique bisque doll, or just a fun little cabinet in which to store odds and ends. Because it was built as a store countertop display/storage piece, the bottom is perfectly ... moreflat. The chest of drawers measures approximately 21&1/4" tall. 20&3/4" wide, and 11" deep. All the drawers open and shut easily and the piece is in good sturdy condition. It appears to be in all-original condition except for the back, which looks to be a somewhat newer plywood replacement. There is expected scratching and wear, and a few chips in the wood and many scratches and tiny dings to the surface. Please use the zoom feature to see the condition in greater detail. Please note that the color is a dark mahogany color-I lightened a few of the pics in order to show the scratches and wear better. The decals are all in good shape as shown, with only minimal signs of wear. This weighs 22&1/2 pounds. Antique primitive 7/8" thick wooden cabinet(I am not sure exactly what this is) May be a store display. Podium stand topper, cash drawer, but it is unque. It is approx. 20" x 12" x 13-3/4" high, and the caninet is made of what I believe is oak it is very heavy and has been stained dark. It has a shelf on the bottom that slants up toward the back and is made of rough saw board. It has a short drawer on the top with a wooden knob. Description This is a Beautiful Old Antique/Vintage bowfront glass curio/display cabinet with two removable wood shelves. Acquired from an elderly estate in excellent pre-owned condition with only normal signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age. The cabinet measures app 22.5" H x 13" W x 6.5" D This cabinet has a flat back with bowfront& curved glass on the sides and front. The door opens at the front and has two metal buttons that recess in the door when shut to hold it secure(see pics) The door shows some minor rub marks from the metal button at the top of the door(see pic) The shelves sit nice and firmly on a wood trim edge on the back of the inside and rest on small wooden pegs at the front(see pics) There is also a metal hanger on the back for displaying/hanging on the wall. Your looking at a very rare antique general store counter display. It's a cabinet drawer for Tico Forms. Tico made large letter stamps. Has great logos and design that is on the drawer and rear of cabinet. Great joints on cabinet. The separators in the drawer are also wood. 24" x 20 1/2" x 6 1/2" There is a crack across the top and part of the bottom. Cabinet is still sturdy and strong. Could easily be repaired. Antique Country Store Cigar Tobacco Humidor Display Case Cabinet Vintage ~1910
This is a wonderful piece of Americana! Large oak humidor from a country or general store with original manufacturer's brass tag. F.X. Ganter Co. of Baltimore, Md, and original metal moisture tray. This solid oak humidor is 42" wide by 26.5" deep, and stands 44" high. It features all the original oak cigar slats and it has"egg and dart" moulding under the top glass. The top piece of glass is new, but I have the original top piece which is scuffed and scratched from decades of coins, cigar boxes, and elbows sliding across it. This piece was made somewhere between 1910 and 1918. The bottom wood shelf appears to have been replaced some time back. The humidor is in good condition and a tribute to American craftsmanship! Sides and drawers all appear to be original. back? see photo) This primitive counter-top display case was probably used in the early 1900's in an old dry goods or general store. exact age unknown. The cabinet is large and measures 17.5”W x 15”D x 18”H. The thread in the drawers is for display purposes to show you what size of thread can be used in each drawer and is not included with the cabinet. Condition shows scratches/nicks. Some minor wood chipping, and paint discoloration on the inside of the drawers. On the third drawer down you will see chips in the outer lower corners. This is a thick piece of glass that can be removed easily and replaced if desired. The advertising ... moreis bright and colorful but does have a couple of places with paint smudges and scratches/nicks. These can be seen by viewing the pictures in a close up view. My main goal was to keep everything in the original condition rather than alter these minor issues. Overall it is in nice original condition with some wear. Please see all photos of the piece.
