Above that are 2 glass sliding doors that go to the bottom level of the display. And above that are the 3 pull-out display drawers that go to the top level of the display. There are locks on each drawer- I don't have the key. Drawers are unlocked. The glass is cracked on the right side of the top portion of the cabinet(as you can see in the picture) It is taped- but still holds much weight. And. The glass is missing on one of the sides. This is a lighted display, but I don't know if it's working. Some of the red velvet lining is in decent condition, and some is not. There is handwriting on some of the wood in the back of the cabinet(pictured) This cabinet was used in a store for many years by the famous Marilyn, The Hubcap Queen. The handwriting is hers. I am offering for the first time some unusual antiques from my personal collection. This is beautiful antique Charles Bodach Company"THE LEADING SHOW CASE HOUSE" Chicago as stated on the brass plate attached on the lower center front of the showcase. The Charles Bodach Company manufactured showcases here in Chicago dating back to the 1860's. This case measures 82” long. 22” depth and 18” tall. The inside of the back 3 sliding doors have original mirrored finish. The glass looks to be original too as it has the old waves and scattered very small internal bubbles in a few areas. It has an old light blue velvet material on the inside bottom. The case was well cared for over the years as someone made the beautiful wooden 4 leg stand that the case is set on. The case just lifts off the stand. The height of the show case and stand ... moretogether is about 46" tall. Both back doors slide as they should and are drilled for your lock. 4 small 12v 20 watt bulbs look like they all need to be replaced. I have not powered this up so not sure if the lights will work or not. No chips or cracks in any glass but the top glass is scratched up. This measures 46 1/4" wide X 22 1/4" deep X 40 1/4" tall. Very nice thick and heavy old tempered glass countertop display case for pie. Pastry, candies etc. It is in strong, tight good condition with some picking or specking on the chrome and it came clear up with steel wool and I will check. but the chrome is still shiny and looks pretty good. As mentioned above, it measures 37-1/2" in length, 10" front to back and 5" high. This is heavy so will take careful packaging and a large box.

Up for auction is a really nice old/vintage display case. It must have been used for jewelry or expensive items because you would of had to lift the case up. All the glass is beveled and fixed in place. The bottom is long gone tho it wouldn't be hard to add a replacement piece of wood. In pics 5 thru 8 you can see the bottom where there were 2 hinges. This is a fantastic old store counter top display showcase that is completely clad in copper. This rare showcase is in great used condition with all the copper present and in good condition- see photos. The showcase has a name plate from its maker centered in the bottom molding- JAMES IRONS/ MAKER/ PHILA. PA" The case is large- 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep and 36.5 inches tall- a includes two glass shelves(one is original, slightly thicker with 100 years of scratches; and the second is a newer plate glass replacement) The glass shelves have 5 original support points- one at each corner and at the back center. Antique mahogany display table with glass top. This showcase makes a good cabinet for jewelry or other smalls. The large top drawer opens to get access to the contents. Below is two smaller storage drawers. The drawers need to be worked a little or waxed to slide better. The largest drawer would be sturdier with a better drawer bottom. ANTIQUE GRAND RAPIDS CLOTHING OAK SHOWCASE WITH ORIGINAL WAVY GLASS
This fabulous antique showcase was patented in 1905 by the Grand Rapids Showcase company. It is seriously constructed of oak and has the original wavy glass. The one pictured was part of a series of twelve matching cabinets that were connected side by side next to each other. Hence the sides are open since they are butted up to the side of the one next to it. The one in the first several pictures has the side panels. The rest are as the on in the last four pictures with no sides. Nice vintage oak paneling or glass can be added to the sides if you would like to use one as an individual unit. The glass door of each opens out and slides into the cabinet on the right hand side. Much like a folding door. The back of each cabinet is bead board with the original finish. There are two clothing racks in each of these cabinets. One at the top and one ... morehalf way up. Each of the racks is solid cast bronze with nickel plate. The rack slides out so you can see the blouses. Jackets or other items more readily. The cabinets need some restoration such as tightening up the joints and refinishing the wood. Antique Curved Glass 36" Countertop Country Store Display Case Showcase cabinet
I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1900 Countertop Curved Glass Display Showcase cabinet- measures approx 35-1/2" long. 24" deep, 14" tall. These are outside dimensions. The case is made of wood with what appears to be a nickel plated metal covering over the wood. The back door is hinged- appears to be original as far as I can tell. There is no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. I have seen this same nickel over wood type case before.One was made by the Kansas City Showcase Works and the other by Stein Showcases of Rochester, NY. The case comes from the estate of a 90+ year old Antique Dealer used in her Antique shop. It is in Very Good Condition- the glass is basically excellent with no damages- nice and clear. Overall the case is in what I would call very good shape- looks great as well. It ... moreappears as though the inside wood was refinished many years back- meaning the inner surface and inside back door. The bottom boards have some minor separation. I notice that the back door needs some attention. The right side does not snug up close as the left side does, so it may need some adjusting. Also the latch plunger is just a bit short of catching onto the upper part of the latch that holds it and keeps it shut. I have this shown in my last pic. This is an old piece and there is normal age and use wear and imperfections. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE CURIO CABINET WITH ITS BRASS ACCENT AT THE TOP. THE ENTIRE ITEM MEASURES 13 1/2" WIDE X 14 3/4" TALL X 4 1/2" DEEP. IT HAS THREE SHELVES ON EACH SIDE THAT MEASURE 3" X 3" BOTTOM ONES ARE 4" x 4" THE INSIDE OF THE CABINET IS FOR ONE LARGER OBJECT AND MEASURES 3 1/2" X 5 1/4" X 10 3/4" TALL. THE DOOR HAS A GLASS FRONT. THE ONLY DEFECT IS THAT THE LATCH ON THE DOOR DOES NOT POP OUT TO KEEP THE DOOR LATCHED. IT WILL STAY IN PLACE IF YOU CLOSE IT. OTHERE THAN THAT. Maple Padauk Bar display case showcase high end store gallery quality must see!
I can not believe I am selling this after all these years. But liquor will no longer be the central focal point of the room, so my loss is your gain, it was over $4000.00 when it was commissioned for the gallery, solid Maple and Padauk, just exquisite quality and craftsmanship, it is furniture quality at the highest end. use it as a show case, display case, or as a bar, as i have used it lately, happy bidding! it is 42.5" High by 54.5" long by 24"deep it has one wooden oval shelf as seen holding up the liquor. The top is beveled glass. this piece is a perfect match with the three up right showcases I am selling on here as well. Victorian Style Oak Showcase by Wilmarth Showcase Co 1888 - 1925
Victorian style showcase. Circa 1888- 1925. Produced by Wilmarth Showcase Co. Grand Rapids, Michigan. Original early oak showcase 8 feet long by 42 inches high and 25 inches wide. This showcase is in excellent condition for its age and is as clean inside as it is outside. The two sections of glass on the top are original and the glass is beveled. These pieces of glass have some minor wear and some scratches. The rest of the glass has been replaced except for one large pane in the front. The case has not been re-finished. The showcase has eight(8) sliding doors in the rear of which four(4) are mirrored. There is one(1) shelf inside about in the middle of the entire length. This shelf is constructed of an oak frame and filled out with half inch slats. The shelf fits into a groove in the rear and then rests on brass brackets under the shelf ... moreon either side. In the middle of the shelf are two dehumidifiers which are easily accessible from the rear. The shelf and dehumidifiers are all original and in excellent shape. The showcase has a very large heavy oak base with large trim. The case has the original decal inside the case and original production ticket is under the case. The case has modern casters installed which can easily be removed as the case never had casters.
