Antique Glass Cheese Preserver Canister, 1800's-1900's General Store-Kitchen
Excellent. Clean condition, no chips, cracks or rough spots on the base, and just a few expected tiny usage knicks on the bottom ridge of the top lid. The lid is marked with raised lettering, but it is faint. It reads"Sanitary Cheese Preserver, Remove Lid Daily, Directions: Place one third pint of vinegar and one tablespoon of salt in bottom, slightly dilute with water" The bottom of the canister has 1/2" raised glass bars to keep your cheese elevated above the preserving liquid. There are no dates on this particular jar. But I've had two others, almost identical, also called Sanitary Cheese Preservers or Keepers, and they were both dated 1895, so I'm assigning that general age to this piece. I'm told they were used in the old iceboxes in homes and as displays in small local general stores or mercantiles. The glass ... moreis thick, with some air bubbles within the walls, both on the lid and the bottom. The bottom jar measures 7 1/2" in diameter and is about 5 1/4" deep. With the lid and the knob it stands about 6 1/2" tall. There is a slight difference in the color of the glass.the lid has an amethyst cast and the bottom a greenish cast. Antique Slant Front Store Counter Candy Jar Display Canister Bubbles in Glass
Antique large primitive store counter candy jar. It has a slant front and rounded back end. Sides. Top, and bottom have flat stops. It is 11" deep x 7-1/2" tall x 6" wide. It has many inperfections in the glass, ie, bubbles, wavy stops as old glass often has. It is a heavy thick glass. The rubber gasket to the lid is gone, if it ever had one. It is in very good antique condition no cracks, or chips that I could see, but there is some use rubbing and scratches which only add to its character. Early General Store Wood and Glass Display Case Showcase made by Charles Bodach
I am offering for the first time some unusual antiques from my personal collection. This is beautiful antique Charles Bodach Company"THE LEADING SHOW CASE HOUSE" Chicago as stated on the brass plate attached on the lower center front of the showcase. The Charles Bodach Company manufactured showcases here in Chicago dating back to the 1860's. This case measures 82” long. 22” depth and 18” tall. The inside of the back 3 sliding doors have original mirrored finish. The glass looks to be original too as it has the old waves and scattered very small internal bubbles in a few areas. It has an old light blue velvet material on the inside bottom. The case was well cared for over the years as someone made the beautiful wooden 4 leg stand that the case is set on. This is a large two-drawer Clark's spool cabinet. In handsome walnut, measuring approximately 22" x 15" x 7½" The drawers have glass inserts with gold backing. Three of the original tab drawer pulls are still intact; one is missing. On the bottom drawer, the lettering is a little smudged. Also, there are a few driblets of reddish paint on the top of the cabinet. But otherwise, the piece is in very good condition. Very nice thick and heavy old tempered glass countertop display case for pie. Pastry, candies etc. It is in strong, tight good condition with some picking or specking on the chrome and it came clear up with steel wool and I will check. but the chrome is still shiny and looks pretty good. As mentioned above, it measures 37-1/2" in length, 10" front to back and 5" high. This is heavy so will take careful packaging and a large box.

You are bidding on an antique countertop display case made by Claes& Lehnbeuter from St. Louis. Missouri. Measures about 23" width x 24" depth x 14" height. Overall, the display case is in pretty good shape, considering that it might be over 100 years old. However, with that being said it does have some issues: Missing the section of glass that went on the top of the case. The trim piece on the side(at the bottom) has some damage to it(see photos) Interior and door where painted white many years ago One of the back hinges is missing the spring(hinges still work) Overall. A good restoration piece. C.1890 Antique Glass & Tin Counter Table Top General Country Store Display Case
Very nice antique 1890-1900 era tin and glass with a cardboard base display case. The only distractions for this case are two scratches in the glass on the hinged lid. The rest of the glass and the metal are problem free. It has a loose black piece of felt on the inside. The cardboard base has some fading but is structurally sound. The bottom has it's original 4 feet. The hinge for the lid works just as it should. The case measures 3 7/8" tall. 10 7/8" wide and is 4 1/2" deep. I have listed $12.00 for shipping. Antique Wood & Glass Sterilizer Display Case Cabinet Barber Medical Dental Store
Antique 1920's wood and glass sterilizer display case with original tin adjustable shelves. My guess is that this was repainted probably back in the 1950's. The finish is a dry off-white. There is a chip on the front edge of the base that was never repaired when it was repainted. A lot of people replace the tin shelves with glass. You could just use the tin shelves as a template. The shelves can adjust to several different heights. This case has nice beveled edges with glass on three sides for good display. There are very nice wide door hinges. This very solid display case weighs in at 10 lbs. It measures 12 1/4" tall 14" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The actual interior display height is 10 7/8" high. 11 1/4" wide and 7" deep. This is a very cool old General store display cabinet that I purchased from an old couple who got it from their local general store when it closed down many years ago. I had every intention of refinishing it but my health wont let me do that. So here she is up for auctio n. As you can see it is a Wilmarth cabinet which is very rare.It does have white paint on the one side and needs new back doors. It does need to be redone but would make a great piece when finished. This is a pick up only item and it is located in Clinton Pa about 15 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. The Wilmarth tag reads Feb 10 1914. I will deliver for a fee. The length is 5 feet the width is 25.5 inches and it is 42.5 inches tall.This is a cool old piece but it does need to be refinished.

This old oak case was probably used in a Rexall drug store in the early 1900’s. Holding nibs for ink dip and/or fountain pens. It will make a beautiful display case for small collectibles. The case measures at the base 14 1/2” long by 12 1/2” wide. And 2” high. The lid hinges at the right-hand end, with a hook closure at the opposite end. There are twelve 3” x 2 ¼” compartments, and one 12 ½” x 2 ¾” compartment at the back. The smaller compartments are labeled for REXALL Pen nibs of different styles and sizes. A few of the paper labels are missing or damaged. The oak is in good condition, and the finish is also in good condition, showing some minor wear consistent with age and normal use. Antique Curved Glass 36" Countertop Country Store Display Case Showcase cabinet
I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1900 Countertop Curved Glass Display Showcase cabinet- measures approx 35-1/2" long. 24" deep, 14" tall. These are outside dimensions. The case is made of wood with what appears to be a nickel plated metal covering over the wood. The back door is hinged- appears to be original as far as I can tell. There is no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. I have seen this same nickel over wood type case before.One was made by the Kansas City Showcase Works and the other by Stein Showcases of Rochester, NY. The case comes from the estate of a 90+ year old Antique Dealer used in her Antique shop. It is in Very Good Condition- the glass is basically excellent with no damages- nice and clear. Overall the case is in what I would call very good shape- looks great as well. It ... moreappears as though the inside wood was refinished many years back- meaning the inner surface and inside back door. The bottom boards have some minor separation. I notice that the back door needs some attention. The right side does not snug up close as the left side does, so it may need some adjusting. Also the latch plunger is just a bit short of catching onto the upper part of the latch that holds it and keeps it shut. I have this shown in my last pic. This is an old piece and there is normal age and use wear and imperfections. Antique store counter, bar, glass display case for jewelry or collectables
PRICED TO SELL* It is a beautiful piece. Very very old. It was in my store for almost 20 years and in a shop in Narraganset for decades before that. The counter is a very heavy. Solid rock maple. It has fabulous design and beautiful wainscoting detail. I have always thought it would make an awesome bar as well! The glass display top sits on top of the counter and is not attached. It can be moved to any part of the counter. The glass in that piece is original. And has some of the wave apperience glass of that age has. The back that jewelry case has been mirrored. Not by me, but must have been done at a later date. The paint is in good condition. A few minor chips. Probably needs a good cleaning it has been in the garage awhile. The far end is unfinished. Up for auction is an antique oak display case. Has a wavy glass lid that does not seem to match the bottom. The wood looks darker on the lid than the base. And it does not match up evenly(see last two photos) Most likely the old lid broke and this one was an old replacement. The base measures 12.5" by 15.5" The lid measures 10.75" by 14" The case is 3" deep. There are some blemishes to the wood along the edges, this includes some scratches and chips, nothing major. The glass is wavy with no cracks or chips but does have some surface scratches as well. Right now the glass needs one more nail to keep it even but I will leave that up to the new owner. COUNTRY STORE DISPLAY CASE WITH HUGE ANITQUE PIECE OF WAVY GLASS CLOSE BALTIMORE
This country store display case measures 82 x 53 and is 8 inches deep. It has it's original wavy glass which measures an impressive 71 x 43. When I got the case it had a pulley and cord which when attached to the ceiling could hoist the door up more easily. To accomodate this there are two holes drilled at one end of the door. Mid way between these two holes is another where a lock could be placed. Placed inside are small pieces of wood to hold 5 shelves which are also included in this listing. There are some scratches at one side of the door as seen in the second photo. I am pretty sure it is made of oak. This makes for an impressive display piece. For obvious reasons this is for pickup only. We are located in southern PA. In easy driving distance to Baltimore MD.

Very Nice and Scarce old Country Store Thread Display Cabinet. Marked Corticelli on three sides with the original decals and also a fourth time on the oak bottom drawer. It is also marked with a small decal on the back with the words"Made in the USA by the Florence Co. Florence, Massachusetts. There are 9 glass front drawers and one oak drawer with metal spool holders in the backs of all 9 glass front drawers. All original with all original pulls. Excellent used antique condition as shown in the photos. It does have some crayon writing in a couple of the drawers- done by a child at some point and likely removable but this does not deter from the overall beauty of the display.
