Vintage oak country store drug store display case cabinet beautiful condition
This is one of my many original old store display cases that I will be posting on eBay so keep watching. This auction is for the display in the photos it is in very nice condition on its original casters so it moves around very easy it is made of oak with its original finish and glass with no damage other than normal user ware it is from the late 1800s to the 1910 time period it measures 72" long x 26 1/2" deep x 42" tall nice easy back door to open. This Listing is for a Fabulous Five& Dime/Drug Store Display Case. Patented 1914. See picture of plaque. Grand Rapids Store Equipment Corporation Sloped Front. Glass is not cracked of chipped. Wood shelves and original brackets. 2 of the bracket and missing there tightening screw. A normal screw and nut will work. Just match the size of existing hardware. The 3 shelves graduate in width. No back sliders. exposed. Hang fabric to close off. Thick Marble is around the bottom. It attaches to the base of counter with screws. There are existing holes for screws. Up for auction is one rare and hard to find vintage HUGHES HAIR BRUSHES DRUG STORE or GENERAL STORE COUNTER DISPLAY. It is in extremely nice condition. It has a curved glass front and top and has two bowed plexi shelves. A mirrored bottom and two mirrored panels inside. The blue lettering on the front(HUGHES BRUSHES) is in excellent condition. I do not know the age of this piece, but I would guess it is pre 1940. It measures approximately 16" wide, 17 1/2" tall and 10" wide. I believe the wood is Pine. There are two tiny little chips in the front, on the top right- barely noticeable. I tried to get pictures the best I could. We used this display case when we were in the antiques business to display smalls. We added a part in the back, so it could be under lock and key. Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Victorian Wood Drug Store Display Case Or Medicine Chest. This is a Detailed wood display case with lovely engravings throughout. The display does lock however I do not have the key. This case weighs 24.2 pounds and measures 33 and 1/2" tall by 11 and 3/4" deep by 18 and 1/2" wide. I am unsure of the exact type of wood that this item is made from. This case came from the estate of a Linden, New Jersey Doctor/Police Officer. The front glass has a break in it towards the top. I have shown a photograph of this. Also the top mantle section is loose and needs to be tightened with a longer screw. Rare Vintage General Store Display `PUTNAM DYES` Monroe Drug George Washington
Wow.What a wonderful early Tin STORE DISPLAY.Just like out of a general store way back when.Found this piece at home of English Doctor's Estate and was stored away with all the original packaged dyes.as shown.There are over 100 packages with dyes unopened and beautiful.Putnam Display is in fair condition with tin with no dents and writing intact.especially the inside flip top side with dye instructions etc.Was made in Quincy, Illinois by the Monroe Drug who was in business for 41 years.and started in late 1800's Company.with the beautiful Chromolithographs of George Washington.Not fading away I take it.as that was the dyes Motto.Both front and back have him on.and have shown both.This auction is very rare and am hopeful this marvelous assortment and Store arrangement will be noticed by the right person or persons.Let me know if you ... morehave any questions.The Metal Tin Case measures 19" by 15" by 8" at the bottom side.Good luck winning this treasure and buyer will please pay Fed. Antique Drug Store Display Cabinet Lily Pastalene Nail Paste
Ok. This has to be the hardest thing I ever photographed. Simply fabulous and rare. Dates from the turn of the century to 1920. All the gold lettering is not just painted on the inside of the cabinet but the lettering is etched into the glass. There is no damage. The metal frame is all intact, yes dented and tarnished but this is expected wear. I don't think it had a back door I see no hinges but there is a toggle at the bottom in the back by the velvet pad. It has 3 removable glass shelves. It measures 18 inches tall. 14 1/2 wide and 8 inches deep. I don't think you'll find another one.

You can see where there is some water damage along the bottom edges of the doors but the doors still open and shut good and the wood is stable. Antique Wavy Glass Mahogany or Oak Display Case Drug Store Taxidermy Oddities
This is a phenomenal piece. It was extremely filthy when I got it so it has been carefully cleaned with Murphy's oil soap and I used Howard's Restore a Finish to bring back its old splendor and shine. Looking at the piece. I think it was stained twice- based on the stained edge of the top molding that seems it should have been raw. You can see it in one of the pictures. The glass is gorgeous. It is wavy and has tiny bubbles throughout it. I'm not certain if the wood is mahogany or oak, but I'm leaning towards mahogany based on the grain. It measures 17 inches tall, 11.75 inches wide, 11.25 deep. These measurements are approximate, it is very old, hand made, and as a result it simply isn't perfect- the measurements can vary within a quarter inch. The glass doesn't quite fit into the grove along one side near the top. ... moreIt may be able to be put back into place but I didn't want to force it and I'm not convinced it wasn't just made this way. Either way. All of the glass panels are very securely in place. This would be an awesome display case for a prized oddity(I kept a beehive and a mountain lion skull in it personally) Old medicine bottles, or anything you'd really love to call attention to in a classic and striking way.
