Pair of Riviera Downrigger fishing reels with 150 feet of steel line on each and working depth counters. Aluminum frame. Surface mount or recess mount. 5 foot 8 inch" outbar with 9.5" spool. Nice used condition with one having one corner of the crank lock broken but this is not what stops the handle. It is just a thing to flip it up with your thumb. The other side is still there and easy to use. The t-locks for the spools are both working great. I have to take the long outbars out to ship and ship them separate or the package would be too large to ship so I will send you an invoice with actual shipping rate at end of the auction. The weight it is calculating now is for the downriggers only and I would guess you will need to add $12-14 more dollars for the poles shipping when it is all said and done. 1885 Antique Leather Case& 4 Decks Euchre Playing Cards& 2 Bezique Counters. Two of the decks of cards still have the original boxes which are dated 1885. So I assume that is the date for the set. The cards that are in the boxes are mint; the boxes are torn or unglued, but they have protected the cards. The two decks of cards that do not have boxes are in very clean and in good condition, no tears or wrinkles. The decks are complete(A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 7 in all suits) except there are only 3 Jokers among the 4 decks. The brown Bezique counter is in very good condition; the wood of the black counter has cracks in the wood. The leather of the case is cracked and torn at the top edges.

This operation( the second of its type) was code named" Bernhard" after its director and was to have been used to destabilize the British Government for eventual defeat by the Nazis. The counterfeiting of the currency of the opponent was a long standing practice used by the Duke Galeazzo Sforza of Milan( 15th Century) By the British in the hopes of bringing the Americans to their knees, and the British again in World War I against the Turks. Not to mention the Soviets( perfecting the US $100 in 1928) In 1942. The German Brigadier General Doerner visited several concentration camps culling Jews with special talents, including engravers, ... moreprinters, forgers, designers, bankers etc. of more than 10 different nationalities. They were promised better living conditions and a special enclave within Germany to live after the final victory if they would help produce a perfect copy of the British money of the time. There were more than 100 security checks in these uniface( one sided) British pound notes to be re- worked. And so. After several months of attempts and failures, the near perfect notes were being cranked out in large numbers. So good were these fakes that several of these Jews received distinguished decorations for their service to the Nazi Government. Fortunately, the Bank of England got wind of this scheme fairly early on, but none the less many thousands of these notes, in denominations( £5 to £50) were passed. This genuine Bernhard £5 is in overall nice condition. The rest of the outside and interior is in reasonable condition. It has the original key. The interior central counter box measures 9 cm sqr. It contains counters which total 92(56 long thin. 21 round and 15 rectangle) All in reasonable condition. And finely engraved and pierced. The 8 games trays are also in good condition. Up for sale are two original Victoreen geiger counters made back in the 1950s! These look fantastic as display pieces. I have put batteries into the CDV 700 and it does not go off from its test strip. Which could mean the test strip is non-radioactive or the wand may need to be replaced. I have not yet tested the CDV 720, but I can guarantee that both of these look almost untouched! Also included are the original headphones for the CDV 700 Model 6B. I cannot guarantee that either is in working condition, so to be safe these are being sold as used/for parts. A CDV-750 Charger, 5 CD V-742 Dosimeters, 2 carrying straps, a headphone, instruction and maintenance manuals and 2 manuals published by FEMA(see photos) I recently obtained these items. Which came in an original box marked as a CD V-777 radiation detection set. It appears to me that the“set” originally included a model CD V-700. But that Geiger counter was not included with the other items. The instruction manuals do include a copy of the instruction and maintenance manual for the 700. However. I am no expert on the subject of Geiger counters. But both of these units appear to be lightly used and good overall condition. I have utilized the“circuit check” both of the units and received positive readings. However one unit is ... moremore difficult to adjust to zero on the meter.
