I can just imagine the excitement walking up to a jewelry store window and seeing a beautiful necklace or pin displayed on these beautiful stands. I can combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction. These are from the early part of the 20th century. Some of them are missing their velvet insert but it wouldn't be too difficult to wrap and glue a small piece of velvet around a piece of cardboard and set it inside the ones that are missing theirs. The velvet inserts by the way that ARE included. Are stiff from age, but you could still pin a lovely brooch or earrings to the fabric. The color of the original velvet is a dark burgundy. This is a beautiful wooden case or box that has great patina. I believe this is made of mahogany. This measures about 13 1/4" across 10" deep and 71/2" high. This is in great condition, the sides open and the top folds back. I am not sure exactly was in here but because this case was made so nicely it had to be something they were proud of. The top handle is metal and all the other hardware is brass including the nice plaue on the front that reads D.E. Whiton Machine Co. New London Conn. The back is also made of solid oak held in place by three small brass hinges that have heavy patina on them. The bottom of the back door has a half ball shape of brass that sits in a brass holder in the bottom to keep the back door secure if the door would be closed all the way. The top of the sides each have a hole approximately 1-1/2" from the back where the display had a dowle rod display to hold their sample handkerchiefs. This piece is hardly ever found intact with these cases anymore since they are so fragile. If you care to reproduce one. Old Antique Vintage Wood & Beveled Glass Countertop Display Case, Showcase
Up for auction is a really nice old/vintage display case. It must have been used for jewelry or expensive items because you would of had to lift the case up. All the glass is beveled and fixed in place. The bottom is long gone tho it wouldn't be hard to add a replacement piece of wood. In pics 5 thru 8 you can see the bottom where there were 2 hinges. Description This is a Beautiful Old Antique/Vintage bowfront glass curio/display cabinet with two removable wood shelves. Acquired from an elderly estate in excellent pre-owned condition with only normal signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age. Your looking at a very rare antique general store counter display. It's a cabinet drawer for Tico Forms. Tico made large letter stamps. Has great logos and design that is on the drawer and rear of cabinet. Great joints on cabinet. The separators in the drawer are also wood. 24" x 20 1/2" x 6 1/2" There is a crack across the top and part of the bottom. Cabinet is still sturdy and strong. Could easily be repaired. Antique Arts& Crafts Era Wood Wall Mount Store Display Cabinet Thread Display I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! This one is very very cool. It's a farm auction find that no one could identify for me. But the general consensus(and I agree) is that it was more than likely a store thread spool display piece. Made of solid wood, it has a tiger oak decorative veneer that shows some wear and egdge shipping. If you like rustic, the cabinet is for you- if you are looking for a project, it would be a beauty to restore also. The cabinet measures 25 1/2" wide at the top, 22" ... morewide at the body, has 6 shelves that are 18 1/2" by 2 1/2" deep, stands 23 1.2" tall, 5 1/2" deep at the top and 3 1/2" deep at the body. It weighs 14 3/4 lbs. The shelves are rounded to hold rounded items(like spools) and you can see that there's 7, a little over) 2" wide spaces on each shelf- you can see the wood is a little lighter between each one- they are not physically separated, the shelf is rounded and smooth all the way across. There are numbers, 1-6 stenciled in what looks like gold with a black rim, starting 1 at the back of the bottom shelf and going up to 6 at the back of the top shelf- I have no idea what they represented, and there's no other markings or identification on the piece. The cabinet is unfinised at the top- making it appear as if it attached to something from above, or possibly was built in? The bottom is finished, but you can also see the heads of the hardware attaching the sides, so I do believe it was not meant for display- the cabinet does stand well on its own as the bottom is flat. Antique Wood & Glass Sterilizer Display Case Cabinet Barber Medical Dental Store
Antique 1920's wood and glass sterilizer display case with original tin adjustable shelves. My guess is that this was repainted probably back in the 1950's. The finish is a dry off-white. There is a chip on the front edge of the base that was never repaired when it was repainted. A lot of people replace the tin shelves with glass. You could just use the tin shelves as a template. The shelves can adjust to several different heights. This case has nice beveled edges with glass on three sides for good display. There are very nice wide door hinges. This very solid display case weighs in at 10 lbs. It measures 12 1/4" tall 14" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The actual interior display height is 10 7/8" high. 11 1/4" wide and 7" deep. Antique Cast Iron & Wood General Store Hardware Rotating Nut & Bolts Bin 30 Bins
This is a very desirable Rotating Hardware General Store Nuts and Bolts bin. This one has a hexagonal beveled cast iron base that is extremely heavy for its size. It has a heavy cast iron center axis that rises to a carrying handle as seen in the second picture on the top of the unit. Most of these are huge and hard to manage this one will ship VIA UPS or FedEx in a U-haul dish pack double walled box. That I will reinforce well. It is about 30 inches tall give or take and about 14 inches across. The drawers six inches deep about six inches across. Several of the drawers have repairs, three are missing the small wooden pull which could easily be replaced, but all are very functional and fit nicely. Some of the drawers need to be cleaned out as they have some waxy substance is in them. And the cardboard is still firm with exception of wear. Up for auction is an antique oak display case. Has a wavy glass lid that does not seem to match the bottom. The wood looks darker on the lid than the base. And it does not match up evenly(see last two photos) Most likely the old lid broke and this one was an old replacement. The base measures 12.5" by 15.5" The lid measures 10.75" by 14" The case is 3" deep. There are some blemishes to the wood along the edges, this includes some scratches and chips, nothing major. Antique Star“A” Brand Japan Tea Case This antique tin and wood hinged tea case held 40-cartons of Japan Tea one half pound each. Paper on outside features colorful red Chrysanthemum decorations. Outside and inside labels read: Star“A” Brand Japan Tea– Imported by Symons Bros. Co. Saginaw Mich. Wood bottom has“ Made in Japan” stamped on it. Size is 18.25-inches x 11-inches x 9.75-inches. Weight is approximately 7.25-lbs. Swing hook on front. Side support. I believe, was added later. Tin lines the inside, and is in good shape. Box is solid, although portions of the paper decorations are frayed– please see photos. Ships only to USA.

Beautiful wood bow curved curio cabinet. Glass shelves and mirror backing I used this to display all of my minature designer perfume bottles. The mirrored backing really displays things nicely. This cabinet measures 13" wide by 19" high. The shelf on the very top for flowers or another display. There are two glass shelves. This piece is very old and had legs at one time. This piece can be displayed on your dresser or table top and also be mounted on the wall as shown. Overall it is in very good condition.
