Vintage Antique Oak Display Cabinet Case Mirrored Industrial Retail Counter 1920
You're looking at an antique oak counter display case in excellent vintage condition. Ca. approx 1920s. The oak is clean and free of scratches or chips and the glass is firmly in place(I believe all pieces are original) There is a brass plate at the front detailing the manufacturer and corresponding marking on the rear of one of the two sliding mirrored doors. The doors glide easily and the mirrors are beautifully aged. It was difficult to photograph this aged mirror(pic#8) but it really adds a lot of charm to this item. Currently the inside possesses its original canvas lining(pic#9) but this could easily have felt or leather layered over it to finish it off. The paint/patina is fantastic on this piece, and it will be even better when I clean the grime off it. The pictures don't do the patina justice. The piece is solid and heavy. One of two cabinets this 3 drawer Multi compartment industrial chest came out of an early hardware store. It has 3 drawers. Is 24" wide and has many multiple compartments. Depth is 19" sides are 15" and it's 7" tall. Each drawer slides well and is 2" tall. Green rusty paint, nice sturdy handles, the cabinet is made from pressed steel so is quite weighty.
