Antique SEALPACKERCHIEF Mens Handkerchief Oak Wood Glass Countertop Display Case For your consideration we have one of the best examples of an antique SEALPACKERCHIEF display case with original labels ever available. The Sealpackerchief Company was founded in 1908 and offered clothiers and haberdasheries the use of the display case as long as it was used solely to display and sell their sealed packages of handkerchiefs. The front cream. Red and gold decal shows the New York(N.Y. Trademark and shows, Patented July 27, 1909, March 10 1914 and Dec 17, 1918. The inside red and gold decal reads, This case is loaned with the understanding that it be used only for the display of Sealpackerchief" as well as"The International Handkerchief Manufacturing Company of New York" as well as, Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. The two sides. Door ... moreand bottom are solid 5/8" oak, the top and front are glass have no sharp edges. The back is also made of solid oak held in place by three small brass hinges that have heavy patina on them. The bottom of the back door has a half ball shape of brass that sits in a brass holder in the bottom to keep the back door secure if the door would be closed all the way. The top of the sides each have a hole approximately 1-1/2" from the back where the display had a dowle rod display to hold their sample handkerchiefs. This piece is hardly ever found intact with these cases anymore since they are so fragile. If you care to reproduce one. Old Antique Vintage Wood & Beveled Glass Countertop Display Case, Showcase
Up for auction is a really nice old/vintage display case. It must have been used for jewelry or expensive items because you would of had to lift the case up. All the glass is beveled and fixed in place. The bottom is long gone tho it wouldn't be hard to add a replacement piece of wood. In pics 5 thru 8 you can see the bottom where there were 2 hinges. Description This is a Beautiful Old Antique/Vintage bowfront glass curio/display cabinet with two removable wood shelves. Acquired from an elderly estate in excellent pre-owned condition with only normal signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age. The cabinet measures app 22.5" H x 13" W x 6.5" D This cabinet has a flat back with bowfront& curved glass on the sides and front. Antique Wood & Glass Sterilizer Display Case Cabinet Barber Medical Dental Store
Antique 1920's wood and glass sterilizer display case with original tin adjustable shelves. My guess is that this was repainted probably back in the 1950's. The finish is a dry off-white. There is a chip on the front edge of the base that was never repaired when it was repainted. A lot of people replace the tin shelves with glass. You could just use the tin shelves as a template. The shelves can adjust to several different heights. This case has nice beveled edges with glass on three sides for good display. There are very nice wide door hinges. This very solid display case weighs in at 10 lbs. It measures 12 1/4" tall 14" wide and 9 1/2" deep. The actual interior display height is 10 7/8" high. 11 1/4" wide and 7" deep. Up for auction is an antique oak display case. Has a wavy glass lid that does not seem to match the bottom. The wood looks darker on the lid than the base. And it does not match up evenly(see last two photos) Most likely the old lid broke and this one was an old replacement. The base measures 12.5" by 15.5" The lid measures 10.75" by 14" The case is 3" deep. There are some blemishes to the wood along the edges, this includes some scratches and chips, nothing major. Beautiful wood bow curved curio cabinet. Glass shelves and mirror backing I used this to display all of my minature designer perfume bottles. The mirrored backing really displays things nicely. This cabinet measures 13" wide by 19" high. The shelf on the very top for flowers or another display. There are two glass shelves. This piece is very old and had legs at one time. This piece can be displayed on your dresser or table top and also be mounted on the wall as shown. Overall it is in very good condition. ESTATE ANTIQUE GLASS AND WOOD DISPLAY CASE 1956 CHICAGO AREA PICK-UP ONLY
We are offering an antique wood and glass display case measuring 3 feet tall. 3 feet across and 14” wide in good condition. There are glass front doors. A glass top and glass sides with a mirrored back. There is room for 4 levels but I had only three levels as I used the top level for large dolls. One glass shelf has part of the glass broken off. The woodwork appears to be original and the back of the display case reads“Toledo Plate& Window Glass Co. Electric Copper Plated” and is dated February 15, 1956. This is a very nice looking display case being almost all glass and only measures 3 feet so it doesn’t take up as much room as a 4 or 5 foot display case. This case was used for many years at two different antique shops filled with tons and tons of jewelry and/or dolls. Antique General Store Glass & Wood Show Case Display Box Mirrors
Very nice Antique General Store Glass Display Case. This is a perfect size to display precious antiques. Glassware, jewelry, collectibles and more! The case is old. It is a general store style that is rectangle in shape, full view through panel glass, framed with wood with a solid wood base and sliding mirrored doors on the back. Most of the glass is old and the glass has swirls and bubbles within the glass showing the signs of age. The wood has a lot of character. The case has sliding doors on the back. The doors are mirrored on the inside to reflect the items within the case. The mirrors are very old and have natural ware of age, such as discoloration etc. The doors slide smoothly to open and close. The floor of the case is all wood, no type of fabric lining. We have taken the time to give some tender care to the case and since in our possession, ... morethe case has been reinforced with an extra wood base and inner corner slats to sturdy the glass and areas of bowed wood. The glass has no cracks or breaks, however, two panels were replaced with new glass due to damage. One side and the very top. The wood was cleaned, oiled and sealed. It measures 36" long x 12" high x 24" wide. This is an old case and it may show signs of age such as scuffs. Scratches, discoloration of wood, bowed or splintered wood, nail holes etc. Overall, it is great condition for its age and again, it has very little maintenance as mentioned above. Fantastic antique Slant Glass Countertop Display Showcase Wood& Glass lined with a Purple Velvet. Wood shows alot of age such as scratches. Rubbing. Dovetailed corners. Glass has some scratches.Glass sits on the velvet side walls. No hinges it just lifts on& off. Box is 4 side walls wood. The rest is a heavy cardboard wrapped in Velvet. Even the bottom. It has a long wood strip down the middle with 16 notches of various sizes. I have no idea what was displayed in this showcase. Velvet is in rough condition.and so is alot of the cardboard. It may have gotten wet at some point, it has a musty smell. Copying the design of this Velvet& board would be an awesome restoration of a nice old box! Measures 22 inches long& 10 3/4 inches wide. The wood frame is in good condtion but there are some blemishes on it. The wood part on the bottom of the case with some spots or stains on it. There are four metal foot on the bottom of the case which all of them are rusted by age. The latch on the door has been replaced and is new. Not sure what company made this display case. General Store Antique Wood and Glass Mirror Backed Display Case Amazing
I have 2 of these. You are bidding on one, turn of the century general store antique wood and Glass Display Case measures approximately; length across front 9ft 9 1/2 in wide, 2ft 2 1/2 in deep. 42 1/2 inches high, display glass measures 13 inches high. Display case is very heavy and solid, with old wavy glass on sides and front, glass on top is scratched. Missing drawers on back. Has sliding wood doors with mirrors on back, there are two pieces to the case, the glass top is separate from leg base.
