A beautifully shaped antique wooden display cabinet in solid condition measuring 23" tall. 13" wide and 6.5" deep. The wood looks like it might be pecan. The door has three panels of bowed glass and one movable shelf with two settings. The only thing wrong with it that I can see is that the door doesn't close completely flush on the bottom. The frame must be slightly warped, but it hardly shows(see pic) The d oll and china set are not included. Please look at the pictures carefully. Sometimes I miss things. Antique Glass Cheese Preserver Canister, 1800's-1900's General Store-Kitchen
Excellent. Clean condition, no chips, cracks or rough spots on the base, and just a few expected tiny usage knicks on the bottom ridge of the top lid. The lid is marked with raised lettering, but it is faint. It reads"Sanitary Cheese Preserver, Remove Lid Daily, Directions: Place one third pint of vinegar and one tablespoon of salt in bottom, slightly dilute with water" The bottom of the canister has 1/2" raised glass bars to keep your cheese elevated above the preserving liquid. There are no dates on this particular jar. But I've had two others, almost identical, also called Sanitary Cheese Preservers or Keepers, and they were both dated 1895, so I'm assigning that general age to this piece. I'm told they were used in the old iceboxes in homes and as displays in small local general stores or mercantiles. The glass ... moreis thick, with some air bubbles within the walls, both on the lid and the bottom. The bottom jar measures 7 1/2" in diameter and is about 5 1/4" deep. With the lid and the knob it stands about 6 1/2" tall. There is a slight difference in the color of the glass.the lid has an amethyst cast and the bottom a greenish cast. I have for bid an Antique Victorian Brass& Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Jewelry Display Casket. It measures 9 1/2" side to side. 6 1/2" front to back and 4 7/8" tall. It has beautiful Ornate Floral Brass Filigree with Large Tulip Flowers on each end. There are 5 Tinted Amber Beveled Glass Panels, the pictures make the tint look dark Amber because of the flash, they are actually a lighter Amber Color in person. It has a tan cushion bottom that is in pretty nice condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass and the brass is in excellent condition, hinged lid is working fine. It has four ornate legs, it does have a nice aged patina which I think adds character to the piece. Late 1800's or very early 1900's. U.S. buyers to pay $10.00 S/H, it weighs approx. 2 1/2 pounds. ANTIQUE NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY TIN AND GLASS DISPLAY BOX (ALL ORIGINAL)
Great"National Biscuit Company" tin display case purchased at Kutztown. Pennsylvania in the 1980's. It is 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/4 inches wide with an insert of a green background and white lettering stating"NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY" with a small amount of flaking of paint due to age. It is tin and several areas have small dents. Inside of box below lettering is an opening with a thick piece of glass approximately 1/8 inch thick that is loose but has two metal brackets in bottom of tin and a metal latch above glass for placement. There are a few places inside box and on bottom that has some rust but overall is in great condition. It was displayed for several years at a family owned grocery store and never used other than for display. Thank you for looking and ask if questions.

Two vintage glass & brass trinket display boxes, square etched & 5-sided, Mexico
These two gorgeous brass and glass trinket display boxes were purchased in Mexico in 1978. The square one measures 2 1/2 inches across and about 2 1/4" tall. With four ball feet. The pentagonal one has five sides and five ball feet, as well as a ball on the lid, and measures 3" across by 3 1/4" tall. The square one has beautiful etched flowers which are difficult to capture in a photo. The pentagonal one has 11 pieces of glass- lid, sides, and bottom.The brass is shiny and beautiful. There are no scratches or damage to the glass. These would be a gorgeous display by themselves. Or holding some little treasure.

Side, and rear glass has the slight wavy look consistent with antique glass. The glass on top is quarter inch. Beveled glass. The two original shelves are each one solid board all the way across and contain a raised lip around the border. ... moreThey each sit on four original brackets spaced 29-30 inches apart and are capable of holding significant weight. As this display case is an antique over 100 years old. It has some minor issues, albeit only cosmetic ones that don't affect functionality or durability. As stated. One side glass panel is not original to the piece. Also. There must have originally been a third door on the back of the case; now there are two with the same width of space for access. Both doors move very easily back and forth. The glass on one back door has a small crack in it near the indented finger slot. But remains intact. One top beveled glass panel has a chip on one back corner and the other back corner of the same piece of glass was reconstructed. The other top beveled glass has two cup rings and a small area in the back section of cloudiness that appears to have been caused by a spill. It was really difficult to capture the cloudiness in an image. But if you look to the left, you can see it. Unfortunately. You can see reflections in the glass better than you can see the cloudiness. Very nice antique display case. Wood is solid pine and was refinished with several coats of satin varnish and polished with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Glass is original and is held in place with thin wood stops. Hinges are brass colored metal and knob on front of case is solid brass. The 10 recesses are lined with new felt. Bottom of case is covered with red velvet. Not sure what the case would display— the pictured coin is smaller than the opening(COIN NOT INCLUDED IN PURCHASE) Some suggestions besides coin display case are pocket watches or jewelry. Their Factory No. 64 was their 3 rd Tobacco processing factory and was used to produce Prince Albert Pipe Tobacco which was introduced to the marketplace in 1907. I do not know if this particular Tobacco Canister/Jar with lid is from 1907. But I have no doubt that it is authentic and not a reproduction. It has the original stamped designations to indicate that it may well be Antique at about 106 years old. The Jar 5-3/4” ... morehigh to its step back/recessed and textured top rim X 5” in diameter. The hollow knob top is 1-1/2' high and sitting on the jar makes the entire tobacco jar 7” high from the ground to the top of its knob. One great aspect of this Tobacco Jar/Humidor other than its antiquity is its condition. The bottom rim and jar doesn't have a chip or crack and only slight scuffs on its out side base from being moved on a shelf of a display case. The Lids inside rim has some roughness due to fleabites from bad quality control or maybe careless use by the store owner. The lid's exterior decorative step molding does have one small ding(see last photo) but it isn't a deal breaker for a piece that is so old. I found this Tobacco Jar at an Estate Sales and acquired it for a reasonable price. I will pass along my good fortune on eBay with a low minimum bid amount without a reserve. It has many inperfections in the glass, ie, bubbles, wavy stops as old glass often has. It is a heavy thick glass. The rubber gasket to the lid is gone, if it ever had one. It is in very good antique condition no cracks, or chips that I could see, but there is some use rubbing and scratches which only add to its character. WALL DISPLAY CURVED GLASS CABINET This older solid wood curio cabinet has curved glass panels on both sides of the framed glass front door. The back wall of the cabinet is completely mirrored. There are two stationary shelves having 6" between each level. The wood is washed throughout with a nice warm stain. Measurements: Overall height 23" Width 19½" Depth 5½" Condition: Glass and mirror are clear and have no damage noted. The wood has no damage- light signs of age. But not bad. Early General Store Wood and Glass Display Case Showcase made by Charles Bodach
I am offering for the first time some unusual antiques from my personal collection. This is beautiful antique Charles Bodach Company"THE LEADING SHOW CASE HOUSE" Chicago as stated on the brass plate attached on the lower center front of the showcase. The Charles Bodach Company manufactured showcases here in Chicago dating back to the 1860's. This case measures 82” long. 22” depth and 18” tall. The inside of the back 3 sliding doors have original mirrored finish. The glass looks to be original too as it has the old waves and scattered very small internal bubbles in a few areas. It has an old light blue velvet material on the inside bottom. The case was well cared for over the years as someone made the beautiful wooden 4 leg stand that the case is set on. Very good condition display case with a lock hook for your padlock. Glass top. Nice wood. The last photo is the bottom, which is made out of a sturdy peg board type of material. Box is 13" across. 11" front to back, and 4" high. Weighs 3lbs 7 oz. Not sure what type of old wood it is. Maybe oak? This is vintage from father's estate, not sure exact age though. Incredible antique oak and glass display case with light blue velvet and custom stand. The 2 sliding mirrored glass doors in the back have a really cool distressed patina. the showcase was made by the Houston showcase mfg corp and it is stamped on the underside. the glass has a wavy effect to it. Stunning Vintage Petite Vitrine Display Case Beveled Glass~Ornate Rhinestones
Don’t miss out on my weekly Auctions! This is a Stunning Vintage Vitrine Display Case Curio. It is an older footed vitrine that is made out metal with thick beveled glass on the sides. Front, and top! It has 4 ornate legs decorated with little flowers, the top is decorated with a beautiful ornate ormolu pediment, I believe that the rhinestones ornate piece was added at some point(as found) just gorgeous! The inside center has a removable velvet cushioned shelf, the back is also covered with velvet and little metal pins(see close up) It is in great vintage condition with no broken, cracked, or chipped pieces. The velvet fabric shows some age with tiny age spots, also some age spots on the back and bottom of the case. There is a some kind of black residue on the edges of the metal trim, I'm nor really sure what that is. The metal shows ... moresome aged patina, and there is one little rhinestones piece missing from the added piece, 3 of the rhinestones might have been replaced with little faux pearls(see close ups) It measures about 10-1/8" tall with the legs and the top ornate piece. 5.5" wide, and 4-1/4" deep, measured on the outside at its highest points not including the front handle. The inside measures 5-1/4" wide, 7-1/8" tall, and 3.5" deep. The space to the top shelf is 3.5" and the bottom is about 3-1/4" What a wonderful display for your little collectibles and treasures to add to you vanity or dresser!
