The glass is cracked on the right side of the top portion of the cabinet(as you can see in the picture) It is taped- but still holds much weight. And. The glass is missing on one of the sides. This is a lighted display, but I don't know if it's working. Some of the red velvet lining is in decent condition, and some is not. There is handwriting on some of the wood in the back of the cabinet(pictured) This cabinet was used in a store for many years by the famous Marilyn, The Hubcap Queen. The handwriting is hers. I am offering for the first time some unusual antiques from my personal collection. This is beautiful antique Charles Bodach Company"THE LEADING SHOW CASE HOUSE" Chicago as stated on the brass plate attached on the lower center front of the showcase. The Charles Bodach Company manufactured showcases here in Chicago dating back to the 1860's. This case measures 82” long. 22” depth and 18” tall. The inside of the back 3 sliding doors have original mirrored finish. The glass looks to be original too as it has the old waves and scattered very small internal bubbles in a few areas. It has an old light blue velvet material on the inside bottom. The case was well cared for over the years as someone made the beautiful wooden 4 leg stand that the case is set on. Very nice thick and heavy old tempered glass countertop display case for pie. Pastry, candies etc. It is in strong, tight good condition with some picking or specking on the chrome and it came clear up with steel wool and I will check. but the chrome is still shiny and looks pretty good. As mentioned above, it measures 37-1/2" in length, 10" front to back and 5" high. This is heavy so will take careful packaging and a large box.

Curved glass oak hinged door for display case/antique cabinet. I'm not sure of the age.it may have been in the process of being refinished. Oak frame with newer knob and hinges. It measures 17" wide. 20" deep along the curve, the curve in the wood stands 7" high off the floor. The glass is clear without chips or cracks.only a small scratch or two. Antique mahogany display table with glass top. This showcase makes a good cabinet for jewelry or other smalls. The large top drawer opens to get access to the contents. Below is two smaller storage drawers. The drawers need to be worked a little or waxed to slide better. The largest drawer would be sturdier with a better drawer bottom. Currently it is a thin piece of wood that over time has shrunk and warped a little. It is a beautiful cabinet- it just needs a cleaning and a little TLC. This display measures 27 1/2 wide 26 1/4 front to back and 16 1/2 inches tall. It does have the original finish and trim. Wavey original glass. It really is in remarkable condition. Antique Curved Glass 36" Countertop Country Store Display Case Showcase cabinet
I have up for sale a very nice vintage/ antique circa 1900 Countertop Curved Glass Display Showcase cabinet- measures approx 35-1/2" long. 24" deep, 14" tall. These are outside dimensions. The case is made of wood with what appears to be a nickel plated metal covering over the wood. The back door is hinged- appears to be original as far as I can tell. There is no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. I have seen this same nickel over wood type case before.One was made by the Kansas City Showcase Works and the other by Stein Showcases of Rochester, NY. The case comes from the estate of a 90+ year old Antique Dealer used in her Antique shop. It is in Very Good Condition- the glass is basically excellent with no damages- nice and clear. Overall the case is in what I would call very good shape- looks great as well. It ... moreappears as though the inside wood was refinished many years back- meaning the inner surface and inside back door. The bottom boards have some minor separation. I notice that the back door needs some attention. The right side does not snug up close as the left side does, so it may need some adjusting. Also the latch plunger is just a bit short of catching onto the upper part of the latch that holds it and keeps it shut. I have this shown in my last pic. This is an old piece and there is normal age and use wear and imperfections. Vtg Art Deco Jewelry Store Watch Display Showcase Wood Curved Glass Door Cabinet
Fabulous vintage counter/table top showcase. I believe this was used in a jewelry store or department store to display jewelry or watches. It looks like a Japanese piece to me. Though I'm not sure. There are no hallmarks or manufacturer information. Made of wood. Glass on top and both sides.impressive large curved glass door in front. The frame of the door and trim of the base are lacquered in a brownish-red color. The sides may be made of walnut and I think some of the other wooden pieces used are lightweight balsa. It measures 20 1/2" tall. 18 1/2" wide and 10 1/2" deep. On the inside are 3 glass shelves.one solid, the length of the case, and two halves that are off-set and curved on the front. There is a raised platform in the bottom. The space between the top shelf and the top is 5" between the top shelf and the ... moretwo half shelves is 3 1/2" and 4 1/2" between the bottom and two middle shelves is 6 3/4" on both. The interior is lined in natural fiber paper with small square foiled flecks. The case is lightweight and rather fragile. Though still in excellent condition. There are very light spots from moisture on the interior paper, a few small tears in the inside top in the paper from nails. Light scuffs and marks on the outside from normal use. No damage on the exterior or glass. The door is a bit sticky.you have to be careful when opening and closing.the lower right corner has to be guided to keep it from binding. Thanks for looking.

Indian Motorcycle wood display case or show case or showcase
This display case eludes us as to much knowledge of it. It was given to us by one of our residents to sell and he can't remember where or when he got it. He was a general store owner for many years and he thinks it was in one of his locations when he moved into one of his stores and he found it in a back room. But he can't remember the details as to where or when as he is now in his 90s and memory isn't his best asset. We can tell you that it is a little over a foot long and about 11 inches high with a depth of about 7 inches. Your guess is better than ours for what it was used for. Maybe some sort of Indian motorcycle accessories or garments like a hat or gloves? Maybe something to add onto a bike to dress it up? We simply don't know. Condition isn't bad but the back door insert of cardboard or pressboard has some stains ... moreand such. It could easily be replaced with similar new material or glass we think. That would be up to the winning bidder when they own it. The glass has a few minute scratches or abrasions here and there but nothing to detract from value. Just part of age and use. Past what we have stated we have no further information to give and we wish we could. What you see is what you get. Please look at all photos as they make up the rest of our description. This doesn't weight a whole lot but it is rather large and will take a larger study box to protect. Perhaps a double box to send FedEx Ground. The Post office is a rip off on larger items like this. Antique Store Showcase/cheese display/ Schwanneck Bro. Manufacturers/wavy glass
You are bidding on a store display case for a large chunk of cheese. The case sits on a 22 inch square base and measures 23.75 inches tall. The crown molding at the top matches the base in a lovely light honey colored maple or poplar. At the top of two sides are ventilation holes to allow the cheese to breathe. Missing on the base is a lazy susan. The base and the top appear to be pine. A unique roll wood back has its original leather straps. A great little iron pull allows the back to move up and down with one finger. The glass is original without cracks or breaks. The wood is also in very good condition considering its age. Antique Golden Oak Showcase/store display/wavy glass, Nashville Showcase Company
This showcase comes from Quality. KY where it was used as a display case in the McReynolds mercantile decades ago. I am guessing its age to be pre-1900's. Its design is awesome with nickel plated supports at the corners and joints. It sports an identification tag reading. Nashville Showcase Co. Nashville, Tenn. This vintage display case is seven feet long or 84 inches. 28 inches deep, and 17 inches tall. The glass is all original telling the story of its use. The top left glass is dulled from items being dragged over its surface. The top right glass shows less wear. But has a crack in the corner. The right bottom glass is missing a triangular piece at the corner. Please view photos for these imperfections. The glass was secured by putty which has dried and begun to crack over the years. The bottom is covered in orange oil cloth. This ... moreis a beautiful cabinet but the glass is not perfect. The wood is stunning with an iron latch on one of the sliding mirrored doors. Antique advertising General store Curved glass showcase display case Vtg Country
Vintage old curved glass Oak showcase. I see a lot of these that have advertising on them. This one doesn't maybe it had some decals at one time, the case is in overall very good condition, there is one crack on the top right hand side as shown. The glass still fits in the case sturdy. Measures 17 5/8" x 9 5/8" and stands about 7 1/2" tall to the top of the decorative apron border.

Kendallville Indiana in the late teens or early 1920's. It is the original old glass, with very thick heavy glass on top. It is a slant top. It is 16 3/8" long& just under 9" wide and 4" deep at the top slanting down to 3" These are outside measurements. It is a locking case. Back flips down. The lock is working but is loose and needs a little work. Sometimes have to monkey a little to get lock to work, but it does work. The key is unmarked, may not be original. It does not appear to have been refinished and I believe all glass is original to the piece. A metal label from the maker is on the back side of the case. Condition: Their is a small.
