Location: Atascosa, United States A little piece of history- This auction is for an original Parker Display Cabinet. It is wooden with glass on 3 sides. It has the Parker Nameplate and ... morehas 2 levels for lit display. It measures 48" in length x 24" deep x 38-1/8" high. There is a sticker on the back that reads: Union Made. United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Issued by Authority of, Labor Omnia Vincit, Organized 1881, Registered 1900" pictured) The back side of the cabinet has 2 drawers across the bottom. Above that are 2 glass sliding doors that go to the bottom level of the display. And above that are the 3 pull-out display drawers that go to the top level of the display. There are locks on each drawer- I don't have the key. Drawers are unlocked. The glass is cracked on the right side of the top portion of the cabinet(as you can see in the picture) It is taped- but still holds much weight. And. The glass is missing on one of the sides. This is a lighted display, but I don't know if it's working. Some of the red velvet lining is in decent condition, and some is not. There is handwriting on some of the wood in the back of the cabinet(pictured) This cabinet was used in a store for many years by the famous Marilyn, The Hubcap Queen. The handwriting is hers. The pack is pulled and has metal prong that has and still does. Scratch the wood– see pictures. Wearing on printing– see pictures. Wood is warped in areas as to be expected. There are scratches, dents, discoloring, dents, chunks, etc. This piece still looks great considering its age(at least I believe so) but it is not mint. Please look at pictures closely as part of the description. Measures about 15" x 15" x 7" Case has not been cleaned- patina. Case sits back at an angel. I do not know what kind of wood it is, but my guess is mahogany because that is what was generally used about this time period. I cannot ship outside the U.S. I am listing several of these very old jewelry displays that I've collected over the years. I can just imagine the excitement walking up to a jewelry store window and seeing a beautiful necklace or pin displayed on these beautiful stands. I can combine shipping charges if you win more than one auction. These are from the early part of the 20th century. Some of them are missing their velvet insert but it wouldn't be too difficult to wrap and glue a small piece of velvet around a piece of cardboard and set it inside the ones that are missing theirs. The velvet inserts by the way that ARE included. Are stiff from age, but you could still pin a lovely brooch or earrings to the fabric. The color of the original velvet is a dark burgundy. You're looking at an antique oak counter display case in excellent vintage condition. Ca. approx 1920s. The oak is clean and free of scratches or chips and the glass is firmly in place(I believe all pieces are original) There is a brass plate at the front detailing the manufacturer and corresponding marking on the rear of one of the two sliding mirrored doors. The doors glide easily and the mirrors are beautifully aged. It was difficult to photograph this aged mirror(pic#8) but it really adds a lot of charm to this item. Currently the inside possesses its original canvas lining(pic#9) but this could easily have felt or leather layered over it to finish it off. Large Dept. Store or General Store Display Case, Cabinet, Vintage / Antique Nice
Old store display cabinet or showcase. I was told this showcase was originally from the Gables Dept. store in Altoona. PA. That store opened in 1884 and closed in 1980. Total length of cabinets total 23 feet. One top section has three doors and sits on two base pieces. The other top section has two doors and sits on one base piece. All doors are sliding doors and have beveled glass. There are 39 dovetailed drawers with fancy brass hardware. There are also adjustable shelves in the base with doors. The top sections have wood shelves and are adjustable. Height of these display showcases is 8 feet 9inches high. This would be a real show piece for an antique store or collectables shop. Gorgeous Vintage Antique Oak and Class 9' 9" Long Display Case
This display case is 9' 9" in length and approximately 41 1/2' tall and would be a great addition to anyone's store. Shop, or even their home. There are 5 doors on the back that slide up and down for easy access to the items that were on display. The front legs on the case are nicely curved. On one of the end doors the finger pull is missing.Shown in one of the photos) This item has been stored for several years and will need cleaned. The curved glass takes up approximately a 2 foot section in the front of the case and has a floral motif on the oak frame underneath it.Shown in photos) This item is two pieces. Up for auction is a really nice old/vintage display case. It must have been used for jewelry or expensive items because you would of had to lift the case up. All the glass is beveled and fixed in place. The bottom is long gone tho it wouldn't be hard to add a replacement piece of wood. In pics 5 thru 8 you can see the bottom where there were 2 hinges. Description This is a Beautiful Old Antique/Vintage bowfront glass curio/display cabinet with two removable wood shelves. Acquired from an elderly estate in excellent pre-owned condition with only normal signs of use/wear you would expect for it's age. The cabinet measures app 22.5" H x 13" W x 6.5" D This cabinet has a flat back with bowfront& curved glass on the sides and front. Antique Country Store Cigar Tobacco Humidor Display Case Cabinet Vintage ~1910
This is a wonderful piece of Americana! Large oak humidor from a country or general store with original manufacturer's brass tag. F.X. Ganter Co. of Baltimore, Md, and original metal moisture tray. This solid oak humidor is 42" wide by 26.5" deep, and stands 44" high. It features all the original oak cigar slats and it has"egg and dart" moulding under the top glass. The top piece of glass is new, but I have the original top piece which is scuffed and scratched from decades of coins, cigar boxes, and elbows sliding across it. This piece was made somewhere between 1910 and 1918. The bottom wood shelf appears to have been replaced some time back. The humidor is in good condition and a tribute to American craftsmanship! I believe this to be from the mid to the end of the 1900's. I remember seeing this in the 70's at a retail store. This is a great collector item it has an electric cord but when plugged in nothing happens. I haven't cleaned it up as far as the rust but the other has been cleaned. Vintage Antique General Store Display Case Antique Dolls/Childrens Clothes &more
Every once in awhile you run into an antique that has somehow managed to not only survive. But survive in pretty amazing original condition. I would put this in that category. This is a vintage antique general store display cabinet. I have been lucky to own several. A fairly educated guess would put this one in the latter part of the 1800's, to possibly as late as 1910's. Overall outside measurements of this cabinet is 26 1/2" tall, 25 1/2" wide, by 14 1/2" deep. It weighs 25# The actual inside display area is 10 3/4" deep, 22" wide, by 24" tall. This cabinet is very clean as antiques go, odo free! it is ready to display, in fact I have it inside my home right now using it to display some vintage toys. This comes from a smoke free home. It is made out of white oak, with the exception of the very bottom ... moreand very top which I'm not sure of. I have not ever refinished this, although at some point it's a good guess someone may have? But I have kept it very nice and very clean. Joints on this are all nice and tight. Doors are mortise and tenon construction. I believe this cabinet is 100% original right down to the original wavy glass. It still has it's original brass makers tag on the front. While this has faded a bit and hard to read. On the inside of the top piece, it has the makers tag"stamp" with the same information as the front brass makers tag. That is what is pictured in the very last photo. This cabinet still has the original knobs and hardware, including the spring loaded hinges. I believe this cabinet would most likely have been for one of two purposes. In the"old days" the display cabinets were usually used to display a stores finest wares. This may have been used to display very special childrens dolls of that time period. Or it may have been used to hold various childrens clothing that would have been displayed on a half madigan.There are no shelves in this, and I am sure there never were any, which is why I believe it was used for one

Vintage Antique General Store Display Case/Cabinet Mid 1800's Lionel Ameri Flyer
For your consideration. Here is a vintage antique General Store display cabinet from around the mid 1800's. This is a very nice, very original, very unique cabinet! It measures 53 1/2" wide, 13 1/2" tall, and 22 1/2" deep. The display area's on the left& right sides are fully enclosed and the actual display area is 18" by 21" 11" tall. The middle display area, which sits over the"cash register" drawer is 6" tall, 12 3/4" wide, by 21 1/2" deep. This cabinet is made from solid oak. Although I believe the bottom is hard maple or something similar. This is no big deal, it most likely helped save the cabinet, but at some point someone fastened a large piece of wood on the bottom, I have never had that off, no reason to remove it because it doesn't affect the looks. I am sure ... morethey put that there to make the cabinet a bit more solid. I am sure that can be easily removed if you so chose. The cabinet still has the original bottom boards. For displaying items nicer, I simply cut 1/4" foam boards and put a maroon felt covering on them. They can be removed in about 5 seconds if you prefer the original wood showing. The most unique thing about this cabinet is the cash drawer in the middle that you access from the back. It has a finger lock combination and if you are not familiar with how those work I can tell you it's very unique. There is no doubt in my mind this display cabinet would have been the center of the store it sat in. This is most likely where the store's proprietor had his most important or most expensive wares. The cabinet still has it's original hardware. I like to keep my things nice. And I recently cleaned this up over the winter. I didn't snap enough photo's of it though. Honestly, when cleaning it up, I wasn't even thinking of offering it here. I didn't refinish it, just cleaned it up and cleaned the glass. Antique Vintage Wilmarth Glass Store Display Case, Cabinet 1900's
This is a very cool old General store display cabinet that I purchased from an old couple who got it from their local general store when it closed down many years ago. I had every intention of refinishing it but my health wont let me do that. So here she is up for auctio n. As you can see it is a Wilmarth cabinet which is very rare.It does have white paint on the one side and needs new back doors. It does need to be redone but would make a great piece when finished. This is a pick up only item and it is located in Clinton Pa about 15 minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport. The Wilmarth tag reads Feb 10 1914. I will deliver for a fee. The length is 5 feet the width is 25.5 inches and it is 42.5 inches tall.This is a cool old piece but it does need to be refinished.

This lazy susan style hardware store display came out of a home shop of an estate sale. The owner had nuts and bolts and misc parts in the bins. As you can see from the photos. The previous owner placed washers between the shelves.I think this was 2-fold.1) it makes for a smoother operation or turning of the individual shelves and it also created more room in height. I tried it with the washers and without the washers.it works much better with. There is some paint loss. Scratches, chips and surface oxidation on the shelves.but it is very sturdy. There are glued on stickers in the front of the bins.most likely to catalog the parts inside each section. The unit is approx. 18" in height and each shelf is 17" in diameter.four shelves. Antique Glass Jewelry Display Case Wavy Glass Vintage Oak Wood Store Display Box
Up for auction is an antique oak display case. Has a wavy glass lid that does not seem to match the bottom. The wood looks darker on the lid than the base. And it does not match up evenly(see last two photos) Most likely the old lid broke and this one was an old replacement. The base measures 12.5" by 15.5" The lid measures 10.75" by 14" The case is 3" deep. There are some blemishes to the wood along the edges, this includes some scratches and chips, nothing major. The glass is wavy with no cracks or chips but does have some surface scratches as well. Right now the glass needs one more nail to keep it even but I will leave that up to the new owner. This one is very cool, I have never spent any time on it, and I believe this to be in all original condition, right down to the hardware and the glass. The rear door knob“may” have been replaced, that's the only part I am not 100% sure about. It's also possible the inside of the door has been varnished in the past but all this case needs is a very thorough cleaning, I'd be happy to show you the process I use and the results I have had in the past. I think you will be amazed at how nice this could be with only a good cleaning, not refinishing. This case is 30 1/2" wide. 30 1/2" tall, and 14" deep. It has a wooden door in the rear, and a glass door in the front. The middle 1/3 has a half shelf and rails for another shelf maybe? The top 1/3 is like an open basket with the handle on top? Maybe this was used by a street peddler? 2 little doors open up for access inside. 3 little glass windows for viewing inside. Good condition but 1 pane of glass is missing. Easy to replace. Also there are rails inside that something rested on. Not sure if a shelf is missing or if something else rested in the rails. A few dings. There is a fair amount of tarnish or corrosion. Needs a good cleaning and polishing. A very nice piece this is an antique steel wire rack with rusty patina that has four shelves and looks like it was a store newspaper display or bakery rack. Has cool triangular feet and it does not fold up or break down flat. It is a solid welded unit. It stands in at 36" tall, around 17" wide and a little over 11" deep.
