This is it! Circa 1904, manufactured in Columbus, Ohio by The Sun Manufacturing Company, this case is constructed of solid oak in original finish and original glass except for one side panel. The base of the case on the front and sides is indented. Allowing your customers to get a close-up view of your display. The front. Side, and rear glass has the slight wavy look consistent with antique glass. The glass on top is quarter inch. Beveled glass. The two original shelves are each one solid board all the way across and contain a raised lip around the border. ... moreThey each sit on four original brackets spaced 29-30 inches apart and are capable of holding significant weight. As this display case is an antique over 100 years old. It has some minor issues, albeit only cosmetic ones that don't affect functionality or durability. As stated. One side glass panel is not original to the piece. Also. There must have originally been a third door on the back of the case; now there are two with the same width of space for access. Both doors move very easily back and forth. The glass on one back door has a small crack in it near the indented finger slot. But remains intact. One top beveled glass panel has a chip on one back corner and the other back corner of the same piece of glass was reconstructed. The other top beveled glass has two cup rings and a small area in the back section of cloudiness that appears to have been caused by a spill. It was really difficult to capture the cloudiness in an image. But if you look to the left, you can see it. Unfortunately. You can see reflections in the glass better than you can see the cloudiness. Antique spool thread advertising display solid oak/mirror MERRICKS SPOOL COTTON
This is an antique spool thread advertising display with a mirror. Across top of frame: MERRICK'S SPOOL COTTON; and remnants of an eagle in the center. It measures 35 1/2" long x 25" high x 4 1/2" deep. The mirror is 29 1/2" x 6 1/2" and has some scratches and some black spots. It is backed by wood. I don't know how this piece originally worked. I think it hung as an independent piece. But maybe was part of something larger or a base piece that this hung over. There are slots on the inside of the frame work(see photo) maybe had sliding wires with spools on them, one wooden rod was there when I got it from my family's estate, and I added one so I could use it as a towel holder. Antique Beautiful Solid Oak 2 Drawer Spool Cabinet (General Store)
You are viewing a beautiful Wm. Clark spool cabinet made of solid oak measuring 20" wide x 19" long x 7" high. I bought this wonderful cabinet 42 years ago in Ann Arbor Michigan and was told it came from a General Store in Ohio. It is clean and all original and has only been used for display in my home. It makes a great counter top display and is very sturdy and useful for any collection you may have. All 4 knobs are solid brass and original to the cabinet and both drawers are dovetailed. There is no replaced wood. No stains to the finish or significant damages to report. All sides and the bottom are original and in extremely good shape. I am downsizing and this great piece needs a new home. Look over all the pictures for they are an important part of the description. Thanks!

Antique Merrick's Brand Solid Oak 6 Drawer Spool Cabinet
We have decided to sell our Antique Merrick's Solid Oak 6 Drawer Spool Cabinet. It is in Great Condition but i t is missing the piece of oak between the top and second drawer but I am including 2 different pieces of oak to replace it but they will need to be cut to size which I am not able to do. It also looks like someone changed the knob positions on the 2 bottom drawers from the outsides to the centers but I do have some of the missing knob parts as shown in the last 2 pictures and an ad that shows the replacement knobs. Included in this sale are ALL of the sewing items that are shown in one of the bottom drawers. There are no markings that I can find on the cabinet or the drawers. Early1900s 11 drawer solid oak all original sherer general store seed counter
Early 1900s Sherer seed counter. Solid oak. 10.5 ft. with nine drawers on one side two large drawers on the other and open in the middle. In front 23 glass display panels with memorabilia and ads from the 1930s to the 1960s. Each panel has a different advertisement, everything from popular cars, movies, foods, to cigarettes and appliances. Each is perfect, full color, and valuable in itself and are included free with purchase of counter. In the general stores of days gone by, the panels would be filled with corn, beans, rice, ect; I thought it would be a nice touch to use the ads instead. This is one very rare and beautiful piece; in great shape, with the original finish and a beautiful patina. There are some nicks out of the wood. The hinges and latch are in perfect condition. Antique Curved Top Cane Case - Solid White Oak - Merchandise Display
Antique Cane Case This antique cane case dates from around the late 1800's. The case is constructed from solid white oak. The crisscross wood dowel and ball allows for display of seventy eight canes. The dowel rods are 1/4" and make squares that measure 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" The top is hinged and is held open by two hinged supports. There is a piece of molding missing at the base on the rear. There is a(small) old repair on the right side panel. The quarter round windows on either side are held in by old aged filler. The curved glass window has been replaced and set with a filler.
