The ... moredate is circa 1910 The vases are 11" high with an elongated. Slender, baluster body, spreading to domed circular base 4" wide, narrowing at the neck 2 ¾" The signature is in green. 1 inch below the mouth and reads as"Leg. It is the signature that Legras used on the production that wasn't cameo or acid etched. Mont Joy-Legras& Cie, Verreries et Cristalleries) Legras produced quite a range of different and original art glass. However a significant part of their production followed the styles of Galle, Daum, Moser, Rene Lalique, Schneider etc. Sometime in the late 1920 Legras’s production of art glass effectively ceased. The glass is in at least two layers. A clear inner layer, and the outer layer with the yellow powdered colored glass added with a hand painted green cascading vine and tendrils design. There are no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the body commensurate with age and use and they would benefit from a professional clean. Not knowing how to best clean this type of glass. Pair (2) Antique Late 19thC Bohemian Enamel & Gilt Cut Glass Lustre Vases
Being offered for your consideration is a pair of antique late 19th century. Bohemian enameled& gilt cut glass lustre vases with long hanging clear crystal prisms. Each vase stands 10" high, base diameter is 4" top diameter is 4 1/4" with the six crystal prisms around. The stems of the vases are opaque with an enamel leaf design. The base and the top of each has a white and peach enameled flower and leaf design with the stems of the plant gold gilded. All the prisms are present and with the exception of one that was glued at the neck, are exceptional. The hand cutting on these is remarkable. There are a few tiny flea bites to a few of the prisms that do not detract from this magnificent and elegant pair. These are quite impressive pieces. The color of each vase resonates with a pink hue. Fascinating to look down on these ... moreto see the different thicknesses of the rim.almost as if being there when made! One of the vases has a very minor chip that is on the surface of the top of the rim only and you can't tell from the side view. Otherwise, all wear is normal for the period they came from. NO RETURNS on this one. I am concerned about the damage that may happen in shipping. The money isn't the issue if we can't replace such a rare item. Beautifully executed pair of antique. Victorian Era estate Mary Gregory cranberry art glass vases. Hand-blown vases, standing approximately 7 1/4" high, each featuring a different rendering of a frolicking child in the wilderness. Perfectly in tact, no noted damage over the entirety of both pieces. Very nice light cranberry colour indicative of late 19th or early 20th century creation. Polished pontils on bottom, slightly different on each piece. Likely British in origin. A spectacular addition to any antique art glass collection or for resale.

You are viewing a PAIR(2) ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS BRISTOL HAND PAINTED VASES with RUFFLED RIMS which are HAND BLOWN and measure 7 1/2" tall. They are in very good vintage condition. NO CRACKS. There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. It is a streak of brown paint either in the blue glass or on top of the blue glass, probably on top. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Please view my other auctions and thanks for looking! A pair of rare antique mid 19th Century Richardson’s spill vases. They have the Richardson’s enamelled marks to the undersides. One is almost rubbed away but the other clearly shows the Richardson’s vitrified mark. The glass itself is somewhat unusual and appears to be a form of alabaster glass with a myriad of small air bubbles and the vases have acid frosted exteriors and gloss interiors. Pair of original antique victorian blue glass vases probably Italian (Italy)
Up for bid a pair of very beautiful antique vases typical to the victorian era that means that they are one hundred years old. I found them in the house of a 95 years old woman. She was an antiquarian in the 1950's in Quebec city. There were a lot of treasures for sale in her house when she moved from there a couple of years ago. So. I bought this pair and show them to the museum here in Quebec and they told me that it was probably made in Italy, and we could see them at the victorian era. They are in very great condition for their age with no major flaws. I would say that they have a few tiny marks and some gold paint fading but the overall condition is excellent. I'll show on pictures how great they look as welll as the small imperfections due to age. I've remarked that below. There's a little piece of glass missing(like ... morea chips but not visible because it's below) and under the blue, it is white. Unknown kind of glass for me. Also, you may remark on the last pictures that there's some brown inside, in fact there's some muck or something like that that I haven't completely cleaned. Pair of Antique Blowen Glass Vases (fly catchers)
These are two blowen frosted glass vases(fly catchers) These pieces each stand 12" tall. With an opening measuring approximately 4 1/2" and a base measuring approximately 4 3/4" in diameter. These vases are decorated with flowers, blue grapes and gold leaves. I purchases these at an estate sale years ago. The rim of each vase is ruffled. This lovely pair of silver mercury glass vases would be a fine addition to any collection. While they are not exactly the same(an indication of their age and the fact that they are handmade) they are a good match. They do have the usual cloudiness. Spots and other characteristics of old mercury glass, which for collectors just adds to their charm. The holes on the bottom from the blow pipe have been taped off to preserve the silver. Pair Antique Blue Opaline Glass Vases 4" Tall Hand Painted Enamel Flowers
This auction is for a gorgeous pair of blue opaline glass vases with hand painted enamel flowers and gilding. They measure 4" tall and 2 1/2" across the tops. There is quite a bit of loss to the gilding overall. Especially on the feet and around the rims of the vases. There are two very tiny chips on the underside of the rim of one vase, one the size of a pin head and the other the size of a pinprick, as shown in the photos. There is no damage to the painted flowers. To my eye, the damage does not at all detract from the beauty of these pieces and I have to really look hard to see it! This is a very large and dramatic pair of antique bristol glass vases from an estate. These vases are in very good condition. One of them has a few very small chips on the inside of the rim. These chips are pretty small, there are no cracks, and the chips do not show on the outside of the vase. They are large, measuring 12 1/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide and they weigh 1 pound 12 ounces, and two pounds. Note the difference in weight! Great enameling, with a few splashes of pink. Pair of Antique Mercury Glass Painted Vases 8 Inches tall
These two mercury glass vases are a pair. But(not uncommon with old mercury glass) they have aged very differently. One is cloudy; the other is not. For most collectors, this is not an issue; it only adds to their charm. They both have the same hand painted floral motif and classic shape. They are both 8 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. The hole on the bottom from the blow pipe has been taped off on each of them. What I do need to note is that the darker of the two has a piece of glass chipped off from the inside. It is not at all visible from the exterior. Description This listing is for a pair of Victorian 19th century English Mary Gregory vases in ruby red. The vases are hand blown and hand decorated. Each vase measuring just under 9 inches tall. The glass is shaped and again. Hand blown as you can see by the pontil on the bottom of each vase. The decoration is of a dog chasing an escaping bird through a wooded landscape. These vases date to about 1860 or so. They are in good overall condition. There is some rubbing to the ruby flashed finish mostly at the top rim of the vases. A nice genuine Victorian pair.
