You are viewing a PAIR(2) ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS BRISTOL HAND PAINTED VASES with RUFFLED RIMS which are HAND BLOWN and measure 7 1/2" tall. They are in very good vintage condition. NO CRACKS. There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. It is a streak of brown paint either in the blue glass or on top of the blue glass, probably on top. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Please view my other auctions and thanks for looking! The flowers and leaves are enamel hand painted and they have gold gilt lines attaching the flowers. They are tall and measure 11 1/4" tall and the base is 4 1/4" in diameter. These incredible designed pair of vases are made in England.The enamel hand painted floral flowers are rust. Gold, green, gray, white and gold gilt. Gorgeous Antique Pair of Bristol Vases! Victorian Bristol Glass was manufactured in the late 19th century. It is known and admired for its hand-painted floral. Bird, and insect motifs. This pair is tan/ecru in color. Known as clam-broth, and has white enamel flowers and leaves hand-painted on the fronts. Each one has a footed base, with a flattened ruffled flared mouth opening. They measure approx. 10 5/8" high, with a base diameter of 3.75" The flattened ruffled top measures 4.5" from edge to opposite edge, with a mouth opening of 2" The girth is approx. 4 1/8" wide. The bottom of each shows the pontil mark where the glass was held during the manufacturing process. Both vases are in exceptional condition for their age. Neither has cracks. Chips, or any other undesir able defects. These are a must have for the collector ... moreor one who loves fine antiques. Would make a lovely addition to any home or as a fabulous gift! There is a narrow band painted around the top edge. Each vase measures about 8 ½” tall and about 5” across the widest area. The opening is about 1 ¼” across. There are some small flakes in the glass around the openings of both vases. One of the vases has some flaws on the neck(see photo 5) Other than that. This pair of vases could also be used as candle sticks. They have nice pontils on the bottoms. And are decorated with handpainted beads and slashes in pink and lavender. Each one stands 6 3/4" tall. With a top diameter of 2 1/8" Though they are painted with the same design, only one of them is trimmed at the top lip with a thin lavendar band. This band is repeated, again, only on the one piece. The other one just has the beads, drips and looping design around the middle of the body. They are a very close match to the pair of mantle lustres that I am also listing. Pair of Large Opaline Bristol Victorian Art Glass Vases w/Roses
This listing is for a Pair of Large Matching Opaline or Bristol Victorian Art Glass Vases decorated with Roses. Each vase stands 10-1/2" tall and 6" in diameter across the widest point. Each vase is decorated with colorful roses and green foliage. The color of the vase shades from a yellow near the bottom to green and then to brown from the shoulder up to the top rim. CONDITION: Very good with no chips or cracks. Colors are beautiful and vibrant! Photos were taken outdoors in natural light. White spots appearing in the photos is only from glare. There is some slight roughness around the top inner rim of each vase. Antique Matching Pair of Incredable Large Bristol Vases 13 inches Tall
Today I am offering a Wonderful Antique Pair of Frosted White Bristol Vases. They are 13 inches tall. 23 3/4 inches around. 4 inches across at the mouth and 4 1/2 inches across at the base. Each Vase has enameled painting of stars, leaves.and nuts with gold gilding. Each vase is just a bit different-one has soft pink enamel and the other has rose pink enamel. One vase has a lighter monogram than the other-each vase has the monogram of H.S. Both of the vases are in excellent antique condition, with no issues that I could find. Up for auction we have an ANTIQUE MATCHED PAIR OF VICTORIAN ERA BRISTOL GLASS MANTLE VASES- 1850-1899. They measure 11" tall. 3" across base and 4" at widest point. Both are in need of a good cleaning which we will leave up to the new owner. They are hand blown with rough open pontils. They have beautiful enamel hand decorated floral designs in perfect condition. Most of the gold trim is intact[I'd say about 98% there is light wear around one of the ruffled tops] They are scalloped, ruffled tops with pedastal bases. The color looks like it is very slightly blue-tinged almost opaquish/frosted so we really don't know if it is just from use over the years and will come off with a good cleaning. They are both in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. It almost looks like a snake is inching its way around this vase. From top to bottom. There are a few jewels missing on one of them. Maybe 4 or 5. The other one is fine. The gold decoration is intact. Although it shows wear, mainly on the top edge, probably from handling them. They have a lovely flare shaped top. And overall, are really quite elegant. They are 11" tall. So they have decent size. I am actually not sure if these are English Bristol. Or French Opaline. I am listing them very reasonably because of the minor condition issue.
