Rim is cut and hand painted with gold which does show fading on a few rims. Hand painted geometric scrolls and dainty flowers are done in. Enamel, gold gilt and coralene(teeny seed beads of glass) decoration. No fading in the hand painted enamel decor. Some minor gold rubbing in spots is found on the hand painted decor. Antique Victorian Cranberry & Vaseline Glass Epergne Vase 1890
Beautiful antique epergne dating to the 1890's. Gorgeous combination of cranberry and vaseline glass. The flutes have a stem design with extended pointed detailing and opalescent rims. The base has a fluted opalescent rim. The cranberry baskets have an intricate ribbing design and can swivel in their base. All hand blown glass. The epergne measures 14" high and 9" in diameter across the base. Selling in"as is" condition. The epergne includes three flutes. Two baskets and centrepiece all in very good condition. As is" The centre flute is missing and the third cranberry basket has its stem broken off. I will include it in case it can be repaired, otherwise the brass hardware can be removed and used to replace the basket. There are a couple of tiny imperfections in the tiny ribbing section on one basket which would ... morehave occured at manufacture not noticeable, see close up photo. The center flute section has its screw on hardware intact so it is possible to replace the flute. They are simply set in plaster of paris.

On auction is a 2 piece glass epergne. I purchased this for myself many years ago as a Victorian epergne. Please see pics as I am not a glass expert! I bought this because I liked it. The pattern is wavy and there are no seams. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Total height with trumpet inserted is about 11" tall. The bowl part is about 5 1/2" tall. This listing is for an antique circa 1890's miniature Victorian bronze mounted single glass flute vase epergne. The piece stands 7 1/4" high or 18.4 cm high and measure 3 1/8" or 8.1 cm in diameter across the flute top. The glass flute is acid etched with ribbons and intertwining bouquets of flowers. The bronze still has luster and the original decorative chains are there. This mini epergne would have been used in the ladies boudoir. Antique Epergne Blue & Amethyst Opalescent Large Stunning! Glass Horn Vase Wow!
This listing is for an absolutely stunning. Large, and heavy antique epergne. It measures about 17 inches tall, 12 inches across the bottom bowl, and 2 ½ inches deep. The bottom of the bowl is done in an amethyst or deep purple glass that turns up into 12 points of opalescent leaves that are blue color. The horn is about 9 ½ inches tall and is in a blue color with a rough sand like texture. There are also dots of opalescent glass between the ridges of the bowl. I cannot explain how beautiful this piece is in person! When light shines through the glass it is simply amazing. I am afraid I do not know what was meant to be in the holes around the metal stem. But to me it does not retract from it’s beauty. I can find no chips or cracks, and the only flaws are a few dark spots within the glass. This auction is for a beautiful vintage pink opalescent epergne! It is gorgeous and has great opalescence. It is well made and appears in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. I would guess this is from the early 1900's. But could possibly be older. It is a pale pink and in certain light appears a peachy-pink. photos were taken with and without flash) The bowl is oblong and has the great flaring points of opalescence! The vase fits into the base, but seems a bit loose- you could pad with stick-um or similar. The bowl is 15 inches across, 9 1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall. For sale with No Reserve is this Glass Trumpet Epergne Vase The vase has a slight amethyst or smoked/ purple tint to it. Measuring almost 10" long the horn end is 5 3/8" across. This older piece of glass does have several bubbles in it. Also around the conical or smaller end there is some roughness and a small flake. Besides this there are a few straw marks in the glass as well. Due to these slight imperfections it is being sold on an" as is" basis. Beautiful Victorian Vase/Epergne with an ormolu style base. Vase is cemented into base. Uniquely shaped vase has white enamel floral pattern painted all around. I call this shape an envelope style! Vase is an amber color and is certainly original. Possibly Moser Glass! No chips or dents. But some discoloration to a few of the leaves of the base. Oak tree style leaves wrap around the base. Ebay Listing Page Antique Midwestern Type Blown& Flint Etched Glass Celery Vase Item Description: Up for auction is a very nice antique glass celery vase likely manufactured during the early to mid 1800s by one the Midwestern Glass Companies. The celery vase has a blown glass trumpet form vase with etched flowers and vines on the exterior. The glass is wavy in nature with a ground flat top rim. The base features a stepped design and it is made of flint glass in the clambroth color. The base is hollow inside with a rayed or ribbed pattern. The connector is made of brass and the trumpet vase is secured to the brass connector with an electric blue glass wafer. The color is extremely nice and it rings exactly as it should for old flint glass when tapped gently. Overall the vase stands about 11 3/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition ... moreof the celery vase is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. There are a few fleabites and knicks to the top rim, but they are not severe just noted for accuracy. The pattern details and clarity are excellent with no cloudiness. I see minor signs of use inside the very base of the vase, which can likely be cleaned out. The glass can be expected to have minor imperfections to include airbubbles, strawmarks, and mold imperfections that are associated with older glass. The bottom displays rubbing and wear from years of use and sliding it around. The wafer and brass connector are solid with no signs of being loose or refastened and the brass connector has a nice aged pateina that you like to see on older pieces. The bottom of the compote has the pontil mark where it was hand removed from the firing process. The epergne and bowl have a tight ruffle all the way around the outer edges. The epergne measures 10 inches tall when it is in place. The condition is amazing for a piece of this age. The only thing I could find is a chip on the bottom of the epergne where it sets in the compote. Sawtooth edge and the bulbous part of each thistle vase has a fine diamond cut decor pattern. The circular base has 10 points and is also colourless glass. The bottom of the large thistle vase has a cut and polished pontil. The smaller thistle vase does not screw off. It is a part of the stand and held with plaster. Metal hardware has a leaf. And miniature thistle motif. The ring that holds the large thistle vase has a embossed geometric decor pattern.
