Please let me know if anyone knows more information about the vase. It is in excellent condition with just a couple of very tiny chips on the rim of the foot. The vase is approximately 6 3/4" high. This is my favorite bud vase. It is an amazing piece of Stevens and Williams of England. All hand blown around 1890. It has the deepest cobalt blue you will find. About 9" tall. All hand work that resembles a candle. Hand applied"drips" of glass to simulate candle wax dripping and then the very fancy frilly skirt. The best of the best. No chips. Cracks or repairs.

I found this Lovely Hand Blown Victorian Art Glass Pitcher by STEVENS& WILLIAMS. Stourbridge, England at an auction of a collection of Victorian glassware among the pickle castors. This beautiful pitcher features a milk white opaque interior and exterior which fades from dark pink at the top to light pink on the base. It features an amber applied thorn handle. Measurements are 5 1/2" tall by 4" wide by 4 3/4" across with handle. There is a pontil scar on the base. Also some up close photos show air bubbles which are common in this type of glass made in the late Victorian era. There are no chips or cracks, just a very light discoloration inside the neck(hard to see) and a 1/2" raised maker's scar on the side(hard to see) A great addition to an antique glass collection as the thorn handle was used in many various ... morepieces by this company. You are looking at a STUNNING jack in the pulpit vase by Stevens and Williams. Five footed with the amethyst rolling into a deep violet. This vase is just superb. It is in overall excellent condition. The feet have a few rough spots on the bottom but not in bad shape for the age of this beauty. It stands six inches in height at the tallest and it is six inches in width.

This is part of a single owner collection of Victorian art glass baskets and vases that I have been selling over the past few weeks. I am down to the last few pieces. The condition of the vase offered in this sale is very good. It has one small minor flea bite on the underside edge of the upper rim which you can see illustrated in the 6th image. Victorian Art Glass Vase Description: Egg shaped vase is embellishe d with three applied acanthus leaves and the stem of each leaf serves as the footed base. Large size. Nice craftsmanship. Blown of cased glass. Vi brant pink glass on the interior and the exterior is opaqu e white glass. Floral shaped rim is a ribbon of applied amber glass that is pulled and crimped. The applied acanthus leaf is variegated with colours of amber. Pink and green. Colourless"berry" prunt is applied on the bottom of the vase. ITEM: Antique Victorian Stevens and Williams white on orange cased glass vase with applied Art Nouveau Matsu-No-Ke flowers and vines. WHEN MADE: 1890s This beautiful pair of vases dated to around 1900' Hand blown of vivid orange overlay white glass and coated with layer of clear glass. The vases embellished with hand crafted applied flowers and leafs made of a clear glass. In addition, flowers have multicolored inclusions in the center. The baluster shaped vases stand on round clear glass base 8 1/4" 21 cm) high. Charming frilled edges and vivid color bring off the character and quality of an old time. It measures about 10" tall and 6" diameter. Body of the vase is white with amber applied glass exterior decorations of leaves. A single center flower, and vines, as well as a four footed base. The fluted rim is ruffled from white interior up to the neck into a peach/pink with a final striped to white and edged in amber. A lovely piece. Not without the typical issues of aged applied glass pieces. The exterior applications should be a center flower with a single leaf accented by a leaf on each side to form the trio decoration.
