There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. Victorian Bristol Glass? Vase-Bright Blue w/Flowers, Leaves & Dragonflies
I am not sure but I believe this vase is Victorian Bristol glass. It is a lovely bright blue color with reddish brown base and neck. There are a variety of flowers and leaves in shades of green and reddish-brown decorating one side. With stems and flower outlining in a raised bronze color. There are also some small figures that look like dragonflies painted in gold. Some thin gold lines, as well as some gold circles of various sizes that look like bubbles around the neck. The vase stands 14" tall and is approx. 7" wide at its widest point. The only mark is a handwritten"12" on the bottom. The vase is in very good condition. With no chips, cracks or scratches, except for a very tiny chip and some other minor roughness along the top edge(maybe it was never polished out at the factory? The decoration is good except for the ... moregold-painted items. Many of which show wear. There are some small slightly raised black spots on the back side of the vase; not sure if they are supposed to be there or extraneous paint. An interesting story goes along with the vase. I was told at the auction where I bought it that it had been taken to Antiques Roadshow. Where they told the owner that it was late 1800s, either English or Bohemian. Inside the vase were two tickets to Antiques Roadshow. Of course I have no way to know if the story is true and that the tickets actually came from a Roadshow visit with this vase! This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Enameled Urn Vase, commonly referred to as a Bristol Vase, in Opaline Blue. The vase is hand-blown with a hand-painted floral and bows design and gold trim. The glass is semi-opaque. The pontil scar is a creamy blue. The pedestal style foot is similar to Victorian era vases attributed to France, however most originated from Bohemia or Belgium. There are no maker or decorator marks. The piece likely dates to the mid-late 1800's. The piece measures 12 3/8" high. 3 7/8" in diameter at the mouth, 4 7/8" in diameter at the base and weighs 1 lb 12.9 oz. The vase is chip. Crack and fleabite free. The artwork is in good condition with some marks and fading of the gold trim. The gold trim has faded and has some weak spots and one part missing at the base. Daisies, lily of the valley. Scalloped rim. Stands 10 1/2" tall. Measures just under 3 5/8" across top and 4" across base. I do not know age or maker- American. English, Bohemian or French- There is a rough pontil mark on bottom. No chips or cracks found in glass. Enamel florals in great vintage condition with only small spots of wear. Traces of gold paint remain on rim edge. But most has worn off. There is chalk-like white spotting inside vase. There is also an old hand-written paper label inside vase from previous owner. 9 1/2"H ANTIQUE Satin BLUE BRISTOL GLASS VASE Hand Blown & Painted RUFFLE c.1880
This beautiful light satin blue Bristol glass vase is in great condition. Especially for a vase that is circa 1880. The paint and color are in excellent condition. The only drawbacks are a stray orange paint spot on the neck of the vase(main photo) and a shallow nick in the inside top of the ruffled rim(last photo) It is otherwise excellent. See for yourself! The vase stands 9 1/2" tall and has a rim diameter of 3 1/4" I have taken photos from several sides and angles. Please view them as they often speak for themselves. Beautiful hand blown Bristol vase. Victorian style. Blue Milk Glass(fire orange through glass) Enameled flowers with gold trim(gold has wear) 9 and 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches. Has a natural fold in glass(see photo) lots of bubbles can bee seen when held to light. No issues except wear on the gold, which is normal for age.

This hand painted vase is blue and white opaline with a country scene. A mill sits on the banks of a lake. With a working water mill. There is a second building in the far background. This is decorated with large blue daisies, raised beaded gold accents in center. The portrait is accented with the same beaded accent. This is a terrific piece& would make a nice addition to your collection. This is about 10 1/4" tall x 4" top x 3 1/2" base. Considering the age the condition is very good. Victorian Floral Blue Green Opaline Enameled Bristol Glass Vase Vtg
Elegant Bristol glass vase with hand painted floral enamels on either side. It measures 12 1/4" inches tall and also has a Greek key type pattern around the base. Some of the gold enamel worn away. But there is no other damage to the vase. It appears there may be a maker's mark on the base or an artist's initial. Quite lovely and wonderful color.
