Free Shipping Location: Greece These are very Collectable French Art Nouveau glass vases. The maker is Legras. One of the glassmakers of St. Denis and Patin, near Paris France. The ... moredate is circa 1910 The vases are 11" high with an elongated. Slender, baluster body, spreading to domed circular base 4" wide, narrowing at the neck 2 ¾" The signature is in green. 1 inch below the mouth and reads as"Leg. It is the signature that Legras used on the production that wasn't cameo or acid etched. Mont Joy-Legras& Cie, Verreries et Cristalleries) Legras produced quite a range of different and original art glass. However a significant part of their production followed the styles of Galle, Daum, Moser, Rene Lalique, Schneider etc. Sometime in the late 1920 Legras’s production of art glass effectively ceased. The glass is in at least two layers. A clear inner layer, and the outer layer with the yellow powdered colored glass added with a hand painted green cascading vine and tendrils design. There are no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the body commensurate with age and use and they would benefit from a professional clean. Not knowing how to best clean this type of glass. You are viewing a PAIR(2) ANTIQUE BLUE GLASS BRISTOL HAND PAINTED VASES with RUFFLED RIMS which are HAND BLOWN and measure 7 1/2" tall. They are in very good vintage condition. NO CRACKS. There is VERY SLIGHT PAINT LOSS ON GOLD TRIM LINES, but the paint on the flowers is excellent. There is a paint streak on the ruffle of one of the vases as seen in the photos but it is not a crack. It is a streak of brown paint either in the blue glass or on top of the blue glass, probably on top. I'd be happy to answer any questions. Please view my other auctions and thanks for looking! Up for sale is this Pair of Victorian Blue and Green Hand-Painted Milk Glass Vases. They both measure approximately 10 1/4" and 10" tall respectively. By approximately 5 1/2" in diameter at the widest point. Both of them are painted with large golden flowers with acrylic borders, and small pink and yellow flowers beneath. They are also trimmed in gold at the mouth and base of the vases. They are truly magnificent. The patterns are very beautiful, and reflect the colors magnificently. Due to the age of the glass, there is some manufacturer imperfections in the glassware that are present in these pieces. Also, in the green vase, there is a chip at the mouth of the vase, and a hairline crack in the base, though no breaks and no repairs. Here's a pair of pretty 8 1/4-inch-tall vases with hand-painted roses and gold trim. They are lovely and in great shape for their vintage. With no chips or cracks in the glass. The painted roses and leaves look great. There is some slight wear to the gold trim along the top of one vase, and some slight scratching and signs of wear on each from light use. This auction is for a gorgeous pair of blue opaline glass vases with hand painted enamel flowers and gilding. They measure 4" tall and 2 1/2" across the tops. There is quite a bit of loss to the gilding overall. Especially on the feet and around the rims of the vases. There are two very tiny chips on the underside of the rim of one vase, one the size of a pin head and the other the size of a pinprick, as shown in the photos. There is no damage to the painted flowers. To my eye, the damage does not at all detract from the beauty of these pieces and I have to really look hard to see it! Pair of Antique Mercury Glass Painted Vases 8 Inches tall
These two mercury glass vases are a pair. But(not uncommon with old mercury glass) they have aged very differently. One is cloudy; the other is not. For most collectors, this is not an issue; it only adds to their charm. They both have the same hand painted floral motif and classic shape. They are both 8 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide at the widest point. The hole on the bottom from the blow pipe has been taped off on each of them. What I do need to note is that the darker of the two has a piece of glass chipped off from the inside. It is not at all visible from the exterior. Beautiful Antique Pair of Fine Bohemian Hand Painted Art Glass Mantle Vases with Ruffled Scallop Top and Bright Birds& Orange Florals. This is a beautiful pair of vases. They are antique and are in vintage condition. The glass is clear inside with a soft satin finish to the outside up to the scalloped rim. Which is shiny clear glass, as is the very bottom of the vases. Fine detail to the hand painting. the top is ruffled and has a very thin gold trim on top of the clear openings. There is one tiny little ding in one of the ruffle which you cannot see. You can only feel it. I have taken lots of close up pictures for you to view. The vases stand approximately 12 1/2" tall. The vases appear to be handblown/handmade as the designs are similar but not completely identical. And in some places imperfect and crude. Interesting ruffled tops and a unique design incorporating gold edging/detail with a floral motif. The vases have been painted white and the floral design on top includes yellow. Gold, and orange. Gorgeous Pr. French Legras Hand Painted Enamel Art Glass Vases. C. 1890- 1916. This is a gorgeous pair of French art glass vases by Legras& Cie. St. Denis. The vases are a wonderful emerald green glass with each being decorated in a heavy cake enameled daisy/ wildflower. Each a bit different. There is gold gilded stencil work decorating the top half as well as the back side of each vase and down the sides. The vases stand 10" tall. Both are in wonderful condition, no chips or nicks, there are a few minute rough spots on the inside rim and an air bubble or two in the glass. This pair of vases could also be used as candle sticks. They have nice pontils on the bottoms. And are decorated with handpainted beads and slashes in pink and lavender. Each one stands 6 3/4" tall. With a top diameter of 2 1/8" Though they are painted with the same design, only one of them is trimmed at the top lip with a thin lavendar band. This band is repeated, again, only on the one piece. The other one just has the beads, drips and looping design around the middle of the body. They are a very close match to the pair of mantle lustres that I am also listing. 2-VINTAGE ANTIQUE EARLY 1900'S FOSTORIA MILK GLASS ROSE PAINTED BULBOUS VASES
No cracks or chips on either piece. I am quite certain the smaller vase is Fostoria as I found an identical one in my collector's book. Which lists it manufactured from the turn of the century through the 1920's. The larger may also be Fostoria because the design is very similar. The larger one has a slight roughness around the lip from manufacturing, not damage as the paint is over it. The smaller one is a thicker glass and it actually weighs almost 2 ounces more than the larger one. The smaller one is apx. 4-3/4" tall and the larger one is apx. 6-3/4" tall.
