They are a soft green with hand painted aesthetic movement design with a hummingbird and flowers. They are 8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. They are in very good antique condition. Antique Pair Large Enameled Bristol Glass Mantle Vases-12" Tall-Estate-NR
This is a very large and dramatic pair of antique bristol glass vases from an estate. These vases are in very good condition. One of them has a few very small chips on the inside of the rim. These chips are pretty small, there are no cracks, and the chips do not show on the outside of the vase. They are large, measuring 12 1/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide and they weigh 1 pound 12 ounces, and two pounds. Note the difference in weight! Great enameling, with a few splashes of pink. A pair of lovely antique ca. 1870 Victorian hand painted tall cylindrical mantle vases. Each has an open rose. A bud, and leaves. Each measures approximately 10" in height and 4 1/2" in diameter. There is a tight hairline inside one vase that does not go through to the front. It measures approximately 4" in length. There are a couple of small flakes around the top of each vase. Pictures taken of all. The vases are approximately 145 years old so this is minor damage.

Wonderful Pair Antique Crystal Mantle Luster Vases 1850s-1880s American/Bohemian Presented is is a wonderful pair of antique crystal mangle luster vases. The central vase has a round pedestal base and is beautifully cut with a stylized leaf-like decoration. The vases flare out at the top and eight long spire prisms hang from the rim. Please scroll down to see our photographs. In the photographs it appears that two of the prisms or spires are discolored. These were repaired with glue at some time and the glue yellowed. We have since replaced those two discolored prisms with spares that we had and there is now no discoloration. They look terrific! The mantle lusters are likely to be American-made. But may be Bohemian. They are from the 1850s to 1880s. Not all the spires are exactly the same length. But this does not show up a great deal. Some ... moreof the spires have minor chips to their points or along edges, but, again, these do not show up a great deal. Over the years the prisms have abraded the sides of the vase slightly. These are really beautiful pieces. Whether displayed just as they are, or filled with seasonal floral arrangements. Please note. Up for auction we have an ANTIQUE MATCHED PAIR OF VICTORIAN ERA BRISTOL GLASS MANTLE VASES- 1850-1899. They measure 11" tall. 3" across base and 4" at widest point. Both are in need of a good cleaning which we will leave up to the new owner. They are hand blown with rough open pontils. They have beautiful enamel hand decorated floral designs in perfect condition. Most of the gold trim is intact[I'd say about 98% there is light wear around one of the ruffled tops] They are scalloped, ruffled tops with pedastal bases. The color looks like it is very slightly blue-tinged almost opaquish/frosted so we really don't know if it is just from use over the years and will come off with a good cleaning. Large Rare Gorgeous Victorian Pair of Mantle Cased Glass Bird Vases Hand Painted
Victorian Glass Mantle Vases This is a grand pair of Victorian moon shaped cased glass mantle vases. Superior quality and design! These are hand painted with lovely designs of herons with gold banding around the top and a lovely gold diamond pattern going down each side to the top of the handles. The handles are applied glass and are gilded. In addition. Each vase sits on top of 4 gold gilt applied glass feet. The outside color is a red/coral color pretty accurate to the pictures and white inside. On the back of each vase is a beautiful star design. The painting of the herons is top notch and the heron with the fish in his beak has some light gold color on his neck feathers. There is also an old sticker on the vases that I am leaving on which I think is the price another owner paid many years ago. Simply beautiful! Glass color is green with a slight frosted finish. Sides are softly panelled. Gold trim. Stand just under 13 1/2" tall. Measure 3 5/8" across top. Approx. 5 1/2" across at widest section of body. Do not know maker- from local estate. I see several air bubbles- some stretched- in the glass. One vase has a 3/16" surface ding in the glass. The other has a 4 1/2" gray line(looks like a pencil or paint mark) to right of pink flower. This is either inside the vase or trapped in glass. It is not a crack. See close-up photos. Vintage Victorian Blown Glass Portrait Vases Pair 17" Mantle
Pretty impressive pair of blown glass portrait vases that stand 16.5" tall. Base is 5" wide. Believe that the girl is likely a transfer. Inside is washed in green. There is flaking around the base of each. As pictured, but the glass in in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. I believe that these are American made and likely from the Victorian era or earlier. I purchase these at an estate auction in southern Indiana many years ago. The vases are accompanied by a photograph and explanation that they were received as a gift during a trip to New Jersey.
